Installing The Flip 3 Filter
onto the GoPro Hero3 Housing
STEP 1
LOOSEN
THE BOLT
Use the provided
hex key to loosen the
bolt. This will allow
for easy installation.
STEP 2
SNAP THE
FILTER IN
PLACE
With the filter closed,
align the frame to
the bottom of the
GoPro lens. Press on
the filter to snap it in
place.
STEP 3
VERIFY
FILTER IS
FLUSH TO
FRAME
The filter will not sit
flush if the frame is
pressed too far down
on the GoPro lens.
Re-seat the frame if
necessary.
STEP 4
ALIGN
EDGES &
TIGHTEN
BOLT
Gently push the sides
together until the
bottom frame edges
are aligned. Then
tighten the bolt to
100%.
