Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the USB 3.1 Type C to 2x DisplayPort Adapter / 2 Port MST Hub. This product
has been designed to provide trouble free, reliable operation. It benefits from both a LINDY 2 year
warranty and free lifetime technical support. To ensure correct use, please read this manual carefully
and retain it for future reference.
This USB 3.1 Type C to 2x DisplayPort Adapter allows you to operate two independent displays from a
single desktop or notebook video output.
Please Note: A USB 3.1 Type C port with support for DisplayPort Alternate Mode is required.

Installation
The DisplayPort Alternate Mode on the USB Type C connector standard uses the USB C connector as a
video output without the need for additional drivers or software.
To begin using the adapter simply connect the USB 3.1 Type C connector of the adapter to the USB 3.1
Type C port of your computer and the DisplayPort sockets of the adapter to the video connectors of your
monitors using an appropriate male to male cable (not included).
The connected monitors can either use the same video signal (mirror mode), different signals (extended
mode) or share a signal across both displays (collage mode) these parameters are set via the operating
system.

Installation
Der DisplayPort Alternate Mode verwendet den USB Typ C Anschluss als Videoausgang, eine
Installation von Treibern ist daher nicht erforderlich.
Stecken Sie den USB 3.1 Typ C Stecker des Adapters in die USB 3.1 Typ C Buchse Ihres Computers
und verbinden Sie die DisplayPort-Anschlüsse des Adapters mit denen Ihrer Monitore. Dazu benötigen
Sie je ein Monitorkabel Stecker – Stecker (nicht enthalten), welches im Allgemeinen dem Monitor
beiliegt. Das Kabel sollte maximal 3m lang sein um die oben genannten Auflösungen zu erreichen.
Die Bildschirme können das gleiche Bildsignal (Mirror Mode) oder unterschiedliche Bildsignale
(erweiterter Desktop) anzeigen. Die Einstellung erfolgt über das Betriebssystem.

Installation
La norme DisplayPort Alternate Mode sur le connecteur USB Type C utilise le port USB C comme une
sortie vidéo sans qu’aucun logiciel ou pilote supplémentaire ne soit requis.
Pour utiliser l’adaptateur, connectez simplement le connecteur USB 3.1 Type C de l’adaptateur au port
USB 3.1 Type C de votre ordinateur et les prises DisplayPort de l’adaptateur aux ports vidéo de vos
écrans en utilisant un câble mâle/mâle approprié (non fourni).
Les écrans connectés peuvent être utilisés avec une image identique (mode dupliqué), différente (mode
étendu) ou en partageant un signal sur deux écrans (mode collage), ces paramètres sont définis via le
système d’exploitation.

Installazione
La funzione DisplayPort Alternate Mode sul connettore USB Tipo C utilizza appunto questo stesso
connettore come uscita video senza che venga installato alcun driver o software addizionale.
Collegate il connettore USB 3.1 Tipo C dell’adattatore alla porta USB 3.1 Tipo C del computer e i monitor
alle porte DisplayPort tramite dei cavi DisplayPort maschio maschio (non inclusi).
I monitor collegati possono trasmettere lo stesso segnale video (mirror mode), segnali differenti
(extended mode), o lo stesso segnale visualizzato su due monitor (collage mode). Questi parametri sono
impostabili dal sistema operativo.

In 2006 the European Union introduced regulations (WEEE) for the collection and recycling of all waste electrical
and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to simply throw away electrical and electronic equipment.
Instead, these products must enter the recycling process.
Each individual EU member state has implemented the WEEE regulations into national law in slightly different
ways. Please follow your national law when you want to dispose of any electrical or electronic products. More
