Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this LINDY Mini DisplayPort
to DVI Dual Link Adapter.
The adapter is compatible with any device that output’s
a Mini DisplayPort compliant signal.
The device outputs both DVI-D Single Link and Dual
Link signals. When connected to a compatible display,
the adapter will output a resolution up to 1920x1200 /
DVI-D Single Link signal or for higher resolutions up to
2560x1600 / Dual Link signal.
EDID & DDC protocol are supported so that your
graphics source will be able to detect the properties of
the target device.
The USB connector of the Adapter is solely used to
power up the adapter and will not use the USB data
channels.
Installation
Insert the Mini DisplayPort adapter in to your Mac’s
USB and Mini DisplayPort ports.
Connect the display to the adapter using a DVI-D
cable. Please make sure to use a DVI-D Dual Link
cable for display devices with resolutions above
1920x1200.
No drivers are required. The display should be
recognised by the source immediately. You may need
to set the resolution on your source device to either
single or dual link.

Dual Link Adapters.
Der Adapter ist kompatibel mit Macs, PCs und anderen
Geräten die ein Standard DisplayPort Signal ausgeben.
Er kann ein DVI-D Single oder Dual Link Signal
ausgeben. Wenn ein Display Device mit einer Auflösung
bis maximal 1920x1200 angeschlossen wird ein DVI-D
Single Link Signal ausgegeben, an Displays mit höheren
Auflösungen bis 2560x1600 werden automatisch DVI-D
Dual Link Signale ausgegeben.
Der Adapter unterstützt das EDID DDC Protokoll so dass
die Signalquelle die Eigenschaften des Displaygerätes
automatisch erkennt.
Der USB Anschluss des Adapters dient ausschließlich
der Stromversorgung des Adapters. Er ist nicht an die
USB Datensignale angeschlossen.
Installation
Stecken Sie einfach die USB und Mini DisplayPort Kabel
des Konverters an Ihrem Mac oder an der Signalquelle
ein. Die USB Verbindung wird nur zur Stromversorgung
verwendet.
Schließen Sie ihr DVI-D Display per DVI-D Kabel an den
DVI-D Ausgang des Konverters an. Für Geräte mit einer
Auflösung größer als 1920x1200 benötigen Sie DVI-D
Dual Link Kabel!
Die Installation ist damit abgeschlossen, es ist keine
Treiberinstallation erforderlich. Das Display und seine
Eigenschaften sollte automatisch durch die Signalquelle
erkannt werden. Sie müssen gegebenenfalls die gewollte
Auflösung über die üblichen System-Tools ihres Mac
oder PC einstellen.

Hausmülltonne! Diese Geräte müssen den lokalen Sammelsystemen bzw. örtlichen
Sammelstellen zugeführt werden! Dort werden sie kostenlos entgegen genommen. Die

Utilisation
Merci d’avoir acheté l’adaptateur Mini DisplayPort à DVI
Dual Link.
Ce convertisseur est compatible Macs, PCs et autres
périphériques qui utilisent un signal DisplayPort
standard.
Il utilise tous les signaux graphiques de type DVI-D ou
Dual Link .Lors d’une connexion vidéo d’une résolution
maximale de 1920x1200 celui-ci se configure en un
signal DVI-D Single Link, pour des résolutions
supérieures jusqu’à 2560x1600 l’émulation se fera
automatiquement en signal DVI-D Dual Link .
L’adaptateur utilise le protocol EDID DDC si bien qu’il
reconnait automatiquement le type de périphérique
connecté.
La connexion USB de l’adaptateur n’utilise que la
connexion électrique nécessaire à son alimentation. Il
ne peut être utilisé pour la transmission des données.
Installation
Connectez simplement les câbles USB et Mini Display-
Port du convertisseur à votre PC, Mac, etc,….
La connexion USB n’est là que pour l’alimentation
électrique.
Connectez votre écran DVI-D par un câble DVI-D à la
sortie DVI-D du convertisseur.Pour des configurations
nécessitant une résolution supérieure à 1920x1200
vous devez impérativement utiliser un câble DVI-D Dual
Link !
L’installation est à présent terminée et ne nécessite
aucun driver. L’ensemble de votre configuration
reconnaît automatiquement les différentes sources
connectées. Vous n’avez plus qu’à choisir le type de
résolution dans vos différents paramètres du logiciel
d’exploitation de votre PC ou MAC.

Grazie per aver scelto il adattatore Mini DisplayPort a
DVI Dual Link.
E’ compatibile con Mac, PC e con qualsiasi dispositivo
con un’uscita DisplayPort.
E’ in grado di trasmettere in uscita segnali DVI-D
Single Link o Dual Link. Quando viene connesso ad un
dispositivo con risoluzioni fino a 1920x1200 fornisce
automaticamente un output Single Link, mentre per
risoluzioni fino a 2560x1600 un Dual Link.
L’adattatore è compatibile con i protocolli EDID DDC
permettendo alla scheda grafica di rilevare e
riconoscere il dispositivo di visualizzazione.
Il connettore USB dell’adattatore è utilizzato solo per
l’alimentazione.
Installazione
Collegate l’adattatore DisplayPort alle porte USB e
Mini DisplayPort del vostro Mac.
La connessione USB è necessaria per alimentare il
dispositivo.
Connettete l’adattatore al monitor utilizzando un cavo
DVI-D. Assicuratevi di utilizzare un cavo DVI-D Dual
Link per poter utilizzare risoluzioni superiori a
1920x1200!
Non sono necessarie altre operazioni o driver.
Il display dovrebbe essere immediatamente
riconosciuto dalla sorgente. E’ possibile solo che
dobbiate impostare la corretta risoluzione sul vostro
Mac, PC o altra sorgente utilizzando le procedure
specifiche del vostro dispositivo .
