The PCR-8200 Video Disk Recorder will Record
audio/videowithDVDresolutionontoCD-RorRW
in real-time. The PCR-8200 is a stand-alone unit
that does not require a connection to a personal
computer. The unit will record video/audio onto a
CD-R or CD-RW disc with CDDVD, DVD-Photo, S-
VCD, HQ-VCD, VCD or Audio CD formats without
dropped frames or A/V synchronization problems.
Audio input and output levels have controls for
adjusting left and right channels to the required
levels. Four VU Bar Graphs, left and right for both
input and play-back, are provided for ease of
adjustment.
The PCR-8200 is the low cost solution for video
disc creation. One 650MB CD-R disc can record
up to 98 images in DVD-Photo format, 74 minutes
in VCD or 37 minutes in S-VCD or HQ-VCD
formats, and 18 minutes in DVD format quality
video in CDDVD format.The 700MB CD-RW disc
will record about 7% more data.
Tracks can be played in any sequence and can
contain video, audio or still images. CDs can be
played back on the PCR-8200 and newer
generation DVD players or by a PC.

and supports multiple video source inputs of S-
Video, Composite Video and DV. The unit has a
built in software "Color Processor" for composite
and S-video sources. Provided also is a built in
S/PDIF optical digital audio input for recording
audioCD-R'swithoutqualityloss.Systemsoftware
is up gradable by CD-R.
The optional DV input will convert your high
quality DV tapes onto a CD-R disc with DVD video
quality copies that will not degrade over time. The
PCR-8200 easily converts video onto a CD-R disc
for playback of composite, Y/C or component
