Installation:
Installation ofLC-80/90KBScanner
1.MakesurethePowerofthecomputerisoff;
2.Unplug thekeyboard;
3.Connectthescannercable(“Y”-WedgeCable)
withthecomputer;
4.Connectthekeyboardtothescannercable(“Y”
-WedgeCable);
5.Turnon thecomputer;thescannerwill startto
work.

1.ConnectthescannerUSBcablewiththecom-
puterUSBPort;
2.Thescannerwill starttoworkrightawayifthe
computerison.
Pleasenote:theUSBKEYBOARDportshouldsetas
EnabledinBOISSetting.
Installation ofLC-80/90RSScanner
1.Makesurethepowerofthedevice isoff;
2.ConnectthescannercablewiththeSerialPort;
3.(Plug inand connectthepowercabletothe
scanner)-- Thisstepneededonlywhenconnect
withcomputer
4.Turnon thedevice;thescannerwill startto
work.

Usage:
Thisproductisusedtoscanning one-dimensional
Barcode.
Whenyou scanning,thescanning windowshouldbe
facedtothebarcode.Theredlightwill showup from
thewindowwhenyou pushthebutton,adjustthedis-
tance betweenbarcodeand thescanning window
(Maximum20mmforLC80,180mmforLC90).Please
ensurethebarcodeisall coveredwiththeredlight.
Thescannerwill indicatethesuccessfulreading by a
shortbeepand thesametimearedflashing fromthe
indicator.
Notes:
tThebarcodesymbolshall beputinthecenterof
redlight.
tOnlyonebarcodecanbereadeachtime,i.e.only
onebarcodecanbefullyputwithintheredlight.
tStrong lightenvironmentwill reduce thebarcode
readability.
tSmutchedbarcodesymbolwill reduce thebarcode
readability.
tThecablecannotbepulledwithastrong strength.
tThebarcodecanbereadonlywhenthebarcode
symbolhasacertainheight.

Setting:
LC-SeriesBarcode scannerisprogrammable.
Scanning aseriesofprogramming barcode labels
can configurethe scanners.ThisallowsEncoding
Optionsand InterfaceProtocolstobe tailored toa
specificapplication.The configuration isstored in
non-volatilememoryand will notbe lostbyremov-
ing powerfromthe scanner.
During the programming mode,the scannerwill
acknowledge agood and validreading with
speciaficmusic(certaintone ofbeeps).Long sharp
beepswill provided foreitheran invalidorbad
reading.

Problem

The scanner
does not
respose when
the
device/computer
power on
The interface of
host is damaged. Replace the host
interface.
The connecting
cable is damaged. Check the cable,
