Failure to follow the instructions may cause injury to persons or damage to
the product.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please take note of the safety instructions to prevent any potential accident
or misuse of the Book Sterilizer.
WARNING / Indoor Installation
- Do not use the Book Sterilizeroutside and do not expose the product to any
humidityor water. The product is not waterproof, which may result in a fire
or electric shock.
- Do not place the Book Sterilizerin direct sunlight or near heat sources
such as radiators, fires, stoves, etc. This may result in fire.
- Do not place flammable materials such as aerosols near the Book Sterilizer.
This may result in fire.
- Do not allow childrento cling to or climb up to the Book Sterilizer.This may
cause the Book Sterilizer to fall, causing injury or death.
- Do not place the product close to sources of steam, oil or oil mist, such as
humidifiersand kitchencounters. Failure to do so may result in fire, electric
shock, or corrosion.
- Do not use the Book Sterilizerin a damp place such as a bathroom where it
is likely to get wet. This may result in fire or electric shock.

CAUTION / Indoor Installation
- The power plug is the disconnecting device. In case of emergency, the power plug
must be readily accessible.
- When moving the Book Sterilizer, make sure to switch it off, remove the power
plug and cords. The damage of the power cord may result in fire or electric shock.
- Do not place the Book Sterilizer on an unstable or vibrating surface such as a
wobbly shelf or a slope. It may fall and cause injury.
- Do not install the book sterilizer on vehicles.
WARNING / Power
- Never touch the power plug with wet hands. This may result in electric
shock.
- Refrain from constantly bending the power cord of the AC adapter. If the
power cord is bent excessivelyfor a long period of time, the cord may break
inside. This may result in a fire or electric shock.
- Do not plug too many devicesinto one multi-power outlet. This may result in
fire due to the power outlet overheating.
- Ensure the power cord are not modified,severely bent, twisted or pulled.
Doing so may result in electric shock or fire.
- If there is any smoke or a burning smell from the Book Sterilizer or AC
adapter, stop using the product immediately.Disconnect the power cord
from the power outlet, and then contact thecustomer service center. This
may result in fire.

CAUTION / Power
- Always grab theplug to remove the AC adapter or power cord. Otherwise,
this may result in a fire or may damage the product.
- Ensure the power cord and plug are not damaged,modified,severely bent,
twisted, pulled,sandwiched or hot. Do not use the product if the power
outlet is loose. This may result in fire or electric shock.
-Keep the power cord away from heating devices. The wire’s sheath may
melt, which may result in fire or electric shock.
- Place the Book Sterilizerwhere people will not trip overor step on the
power cord to protect thepower cord and plug from any damage. This may
result in fire or electric shock.
- Do not insert a conductor into the other side of the wall outlet while the
power plug is inserted into the wall outlet. In addition,do not touch the
power plug immediatelyafter it is disconnected from the wall outlet. This
may result in electric shock.
WARNING / When in Use
- If water or foreign materialshavegone into the AC adapter, power cord, or
the interior of the Book Sterilizer,turn off the Book Sterilizer.Removeall the
cables, and then contact the customer service center. This may result in fire
or electric shock.
- In the eventthat there is a heavy impact or the cabinet is damaged, switch
it off, unplug it from the power outlet and contact an authorized service
center. This may result in electric shock.
- Keep the plastic used for packing the Book Sterilizer out of the reach of
children. If not handled safely, it can cause suffocation.

CAUTION / When in Use
- Do not place heavy objectson the Book Sterilizer.It may fall down and
cause personal injury.
- Be careful not to allow any impact to the glass during transportation.
- Do not use any sharp tools on the Book Sterilizer such as a knife or
hammer, because this may damagethe casing.
- In the eventthat no imageappears on the screen or no sound is heard, stop
using the Book Sterilizer.Switch off the Book Sterilizer,unplug it from the
power outlet, and contact our service center. This may result in fire or
electric shock.
- If you watch the screen at a close distancefor a long time, your eye sight
may become worse.
Warning
Exposure to UV light is very dangerous.
Do not open the door when the light is
still on.

Functional LCD
1. Displaying Animation
The sterilization process is vividly shown by the dynamic cartoon
picture.It begins with the bacteria pervasive on the book and
graduallydiminish until disappear in the course of sterilization.
2. Replacement Notification
Reminding users to replace the UV-C lamp when they reach
15,000 times on/off.
3. Showing Current Status
OPEN –The sterilization room door is opened
CLOSED - The sterilization room door is closed
4. Displaying the Remaining time
Countingdown each second when sterilizing
5. Setting Window
It is used for setting the operating system.

START
Power on/off
Please turn off the power if you are not going
to use the machine within a period of time.
The on/off button is located at the right corner
of the forepart of the sterilization room.
Sterilization
Fix the books on the book-shelf, close the door
and touch the start button. The lamps will light
up to sanitize the books and the functional LCD
will display the remaining time.
After sterilization, the lamps will automatically
turn off.
How to Use
The functional LCD will light up when connected to the power

(Routinely set as 60 seconds <recommended>, and the sterilization time can be adjusted
by the unit of 10-second.)

* 15000 on/off (recommended) is routinely set, and it is available to adjust by 100 units.
* If the usage number exceeds the setting times, the lamp replacement
icon at the upper right will blink.

How to Replace Consumable parts

Replacing the Upper Lamps
Replacing the lamps at the inner wall
Take out the used lamps by pressing the marked parts
and rotating 90 degrees. Replace with new lamps.

Open the sterilization room door
The sterilization effects cannot be guaranteed when
the used lamps have not been replaced in time or the
lamps even do not work.

Open the machineroom (Refer to page 18), and press the button below
the filter. Pull down the used lamp and replace with a new one.
Replacing the filter
