General Safety Information
• Hand control should only be used to operate the lift.
• The bath lift should only use the provided hand control. We do not recommend connecting a third-party
hand control to the unit as this could cause damage and will void your limited warranty.
• Never throw the hand control or store it near a heat source.
• Do not attempt to open up the hand control.

• Use only provided battery charger to charge the battery.
• Use the battery charger outside of the bathroom.
• Caution: Make sure the battery is fully charged before using the lift for the irst time. Charge the

• When using bath oils and salts, please use recommended dosage on the packaging. An unnecessary large
quantity of bath oils and salts can aect the mechanism of the lift.
• Do not use any acetic acid cleaners or detergents for cleaning the lift. If you ind any signs of damage to the
product, do not use the bath lift and contact an authorized specialist immediately.
• Do not use any objects on the bath lift that could get stuck in the mechanism.

• Always sit down in the middle of the lift with your back against the backrest.
• Keep legs stretched out in front. Never tuck legs under the seat.
• Use one hand to operate the hand control. Place the other free hand on your lap or on top of the bathtub wall..
• Do not place hands between the lift and wall of the bathtub to prevent injury.
Notes about Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
This product is compliant with the protection requirements set forth in the Council Directive for the
Harmonization of legal Stipulations of the Member States concerning Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMV, IEC
6060112) (89/336/EWG). However, the occurrence of electrical interference cannot be ruled out completely
under certain conditions, i.e. in particular, if mobile phones or other electrical devices are used. While in the
vicinity of bath lift, do not operate any life-preserving or life-supporting devices or any devices that may cause
health hazards for users in the event of a malfunction. Such devices may be subject to electrical interference
under certain conditions, or they may adversely aect the proper functions of the bath lift.
If you should detect any malfunctions or unusual behavior with your bath lift or other electrical devices in the
vicinity, please shut down the bath lift and notify your authorized serviceperson.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Bath Lift Setup
1) Attach suction cups to the underside of the baseplate located on the seat unit.

2) Make sure the tails of the front suction cups are tucked into slots on the underside of the baseplate.
However, the tails of the rear suction tubes should stick out. This makes it so the bath lift can be removed
from the bath with ease.
3) Make sure the bathtub is empty and dry. Remove any anti-slip mats or toys located in the tub.
4) Place the seat unit in the empty tub. Press down on the suction cups and wiggle seat unit slightly to make
sure the unit attaches to the loor of the bathtub irmly.
5) Insert the backrest into the seat unit.
NOTE: Make sure guide pins of the backrest are inserted into the bearing blocks located on the baseplate.
Please make sure the lifting rod is drawn back and pointing outward away from the backrest.
6) Tilt backrest backwards until the backrest is positioned at a reclined angle and the lifting rod is securely
itted into the unlock ramp on the baseplate.
NOTE: Make sure the back of the backrest is not bumping against the wall of the tub. If the backrest hits
against the tub, the bath lift will need to be repositioned.

7) Connect the hand control to the bath lift. To do this:
a) Plug jack socket onto the jack plug until the ring around the jack plug can no longer be seen.
8) Make sure that the lifting rod is correctly positioned and inserted in the unlock ramp located on the
baseplate. Then your bath lift is ready to be used.
Attaching the Covers
• The seat covers can be attached and removed at any time with ease. The bath lift can also be used without
the covers.
• To attach the covers, place them on the surface of the backrest and seat. Then, press the fastening buttons
into the holes.
• To remove the covers, lift the laps where the buttons are located and pull them out of the holes.

Install the Headrest
Installing the headrest is completely optional.
• To install the headrest, insert the two (2) rods of the headrest into the opening at top of the backrest plate.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Hand Control Overview
If there is an emergency situation, operation of the bath lift can be brought to a standstill by pressing the
EMERGENCY/OFF button. In order to reactivate the bath lift, press the ON button.
The bath lift will switch o automatically after 30 minutes. To turn it o manually, simply press the
EMERGENCY/OFF button. The light on the indicator lamp will go out to show the device is turned o.
Operating the Bath Lift
1) Make sure that the hand control is connected properly.
2) Press the ON button on the hand control to turn on device.
3) Press and hold the UP button. The lift will move up and the backrest will move from a reclined position to
an upright position. The lift will raise up until the button is released. The lift will switch o automatically once
it reaches its end position.
NOTE: The lift can be raised and stay at any height by releasing the button once the lift reaches the
desired height.
4) Fold out the side laps of the seat and let them rest on the sides of the tub. The laps should be horizontal
to the seat and upper edges of the tub once they are resting on the sides of the tub.
5) Sit down in the center of the bath lift. Ask for help, if assistance is required.
6) Press and hold the DOWN button to lower the lift. The lift will lower until the button is released. The
backrest will tilt back automatically. The lift will switch o automatically once it reaches its end position. The
backrest can be tilt back automatically. The lift will switch o automatically once it reaches its end position.
The backrest can be reclined to any angle by releasing the button once the desired angle is reached.
WARNING! If the backrest pushes against the backside of the tub, release the DOWN button
immediately. The position of the bath lift may have to be adjusted.
7) After bathing, press and hold the UP button until the lift reaches a height equal to the top edges of the tub.
8) Use side laps to slide sideways o of the seat and carefully out of the bathtub.
NOTE: If you leave the bath lift in the tub between uses, make sure to always disconnect hand control
when the bath lift is not in use. If bath lift is being stored, check the “Removing the Bath Lift” section on
how to properly remove the bath lift from tub.

NAMES
1) ON button Turns the lift on.
2) EMERGENCY/OFF button Brings the lift to a standstill.
3) UP button Moves the lift up.
4) DOWN button Moves the lift down.
5) LED indicator lamp Indicates how much charge is left in the battery:
Green – Ready for operation
Orange – Enough charge for one use
Yellow – Close to changing to red
Red – Lift will only be able to go up; needs to be charged.

Removing the Bath Lift
1) Fold side laps inward so that they are over the seat.
2) Use hand control to lower the bath lift and recline the backrest.
3) Disconnect the hand control.
4) Hold the top part of the backrest to fold the drive unit down.
5) Make sure the lifting rod is totally drawn back.
6) Remove the backrest from the seat unit.
NOTE: The backrest can only be removed at a speciic angle. When it is completely folded down and
locked, it cannot be removed from the seat. Bring the backrest to the angle shown in the igure below.
7) Remove rear of the bath lift by pulling the tail of the rear suction cups. This action will loosen the front
suction cups so that the bath lift can now be removed from the bathtub completely.

CLEANING/MAINTENANCE
Maintaining the Bath Lift
A maintenance check of the bath lift has to be conducted periodically at least every 12 months. This check
includes a visual inspection of all the parts, especially load-bearing parts. You should also check all necessary
functions. All inspections have to be carried out by a qualiied personnel. This qualiied personnel has to
remain objective with regards to the tests and inspections being carried out. Please ask a qualiied personnel
to arrange for periodic inspections. The hand control must only be opened by the bath lift manufacturer.
Cleaning the Bath Lift
• The bath lift should be cleaned after each use with hot water.
• Use disinfectants or bath cleansers to clean the bath lift after removing the seat covers.
• To clean seat covers, wash by hand or in a washing machine at 140° F (60° C.) Please use a non-bio
detergent without any enzyme additives for cleaning.
NOTE: Discoloration can occur if covers come in contact with bath oils or if covers are not cleaned
regularly.
• Hang covers up to air dry. Do not put covers in a dryer.
Maintaining the Battery Charger
The charger does not require any maintenance. The charger should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Make sure
liquid does not enter the charging unit. Make sure the charger is completely dry before using it. The charger
should also be disconnected from the main power before it is cleaned.
Charging the Battery
WARNING! Do not use battery charger in the bathroom.
Ensure the battery is fully charged before using the bath lift.
1) Plug the jack plug of the battery charger into the jack socket on the spiral cord of the hand control until the
jack plug is locked in.
2) Insert the main plug of the battery charger into a power socket. The lamp on the hand control will light up
red. Once the battery is charged the light will turn to green.
• Automatic Stop: If the charger is left plugged in, it will automatically end after about four (4) hours.
This way the battery will not be overcharged, but will be charged to its fullest.
• Manual Stop: If you don’t wish to wait, once the light turns green, you can immediately remove the
main plug of the battery charger from the power socket. Then, remove the jack plug of the battery
charger from the socket of the hand control.
NOTE: If the light on the hand control is not lighting up after connecting the hand control and battery
charger, please check to make sure that everything is properly connected.
Transporting the Bath Lift
1) Disconnect the hand control before transporting the bath lift.
2) Transport with care. Avoid bumping, sliding or knocking the bath lift during transportation.
• Transport as Two Units: The seat and drive unit can be transported separately, one in each hand.

• Transport as a Complete Unit: The seat and drive unit can be transported together by interlocking the
two (2) units.
Reuse/Recycling
This product is suitable for re-use. The number of re-uses depends on the condition of the product. The
manufacturer’s instructions have to be followed for recycling. If necessary, these instructions will be made
available on request.
Concerning Disposal
The disposal and reutilization of old devices and equipment has to be in compliance with the relevant legal
stipulations.

WHO MAY USE THIS WARRANTY? C&A Marketing, Inc. located at 114 Tived Lane East, Edison, NJ (“we”)
extend this limited warranty only to the consumer who originally purchased the product (“you”). It does not
extend to any subsequent owner or other transferee of the product.
WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY COVER? This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship
of the LiveFine®Bath Lift (the “product”) for the Warranty Period as deined below.
WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY NOT COVER? This limited warranty does not cover any damage due to: (a)
transportation; (b) storage; (c) improper use; (d) failure to follow the product instructions or to perform any
preventive maintenance; (e) modiications; (f) unauthorized repair; (g) normal wear and tear; or (h) external
causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control.
WHAT IS THE PERIOD OF COVERAGE? This limited warranty starts on the date of your purchase and lasts
for one year (the “Warranty Period”). The Warranty Period is not extended if we repair or replace the product.
We may change the availability of this limited warranty at our discretion, but any changes will not be
retroactive.
WHAT ARE YOUR REMEDIES UNDER THIS WARRANTY? With respect to any defective product during the
Warranty Period, we will, at our sole discretion, either: (a) repair or replace such product (or the defective part)
free of charge or (b) refund the purchase price of such product if an exchange unit cannot be provided.
HOW DO YOU OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE? To obtain warranty service, you must contact us at
18883907622 or by email at supportlfc@camarketing.com during the Warranty Period to obtain a Defective
Merchandise Authorization (“DMA”) number. No warranty service will be provided without a DMA number and
return shipping costs to our facilities shall be assumed by you, the purchaser. Shipping costs of the
replacement unit to you shall be assumed by us.

REMEDIES OF SUCH WARRANTIES TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY.
OUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR DEFECTIVE GOODS IS LIMITED TO REPAIR, REPLACEMENT OR REFUND AS
DESCRIBED BELOW IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT.
WHO MAY USE THIS WARRANTY? C&A Marketing, Inc. located at 114 Tived Lane East, Edison, NJ (“we”)
extend this limited warranty only to the consumer who originally purchased the product (“you”). It does not
extend to any subsequent owner or other transferee of the product.
WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY COVER? This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship
of the LiveFine®Bath Lift (the “product”) for the Warranty Period as deined below.
WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY NOT COVER? This limited warranty does not cover any damage due to: (a)
transportation; (b) storage; (c) improper use; (d) failure to follow the product instructions or to perform any
preventive maintenance; (e) modiications; (f) unauthorized repair; (g) normal wear and tear; or (h) external
causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control.
WHAT IS THE PERIOD OF COVERAGE? This limited warranty starts on the date of your purchase and lasts
for one year (the “Warranty Period”). The Warranty Period is not extended if we repair or replace the product.
We may change the availability of this limited warranty at our discretion, but any changes will not be
retroactive.
WHAT ARE YOUR REMEDIES UNDER THIS WARRANTY? With respect to any defective product during the
Warranty Period, we will, at our sole discretion, either: (a) repair or replace such product (or the defective part)
free of charge or (b) refund the purchase price of such product if an exchange unit cannot be provided.
HOW DO YOU OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE? To obtain warranty service, you must contact us at
18883907622 or by email at supportlfc@camarketing.com during the Warranty Period to obtain a Defective
Merchandise Authorization (“DMA”) number. No warranty service will be provided without a DMA number and
return shipping costs to our facilities shall be assumed by you, the purchaser. Shipping costs of the
replacement unit to you shall be assumed by us.
