Overview
•This device is designed to relieve muscle tension and provide
relaxation. The device may be used to massage the feet or back
muscles. It is not a replacement for medically required treatment.
•The device is for personal domestic use only and is not intended for
commercial applications.
• The device should only be used as described in these instructions.
•The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects caused by
improper handling, damage or unauthorised attempts at repair. This
also applies to normal wear and tear.
Safety Instructions
■This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
■Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the device.
■The device has a heating function. People who are sensitive to heat
must be careful when using the heating function.
■Keep sharp and pointed objects away from the device to ensure
that it is not damaged.
■The device must always be disconnected from the mains power
when left unattended and before cleaning it.
■In the interest of your own safety, you should inspect the device
for damage each time before you use it. It may only be used if it
has no visible signs of damage!
■If the device, the mains cable, or the mains adapter of the device
is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or customer
service department or a similarly qualified person (e.g. specialist
workshop) in order to avoid any hazards.

Health-Specific Instructions
■Only use the device if you have no physical illnesses or ailments.
■The following people may use the device only after consultation
with their doctor:
– people who wear a pacemaker or similar medical implants;
– people with heart disease or who suffer from epilepsy;
– people who have back complaints or spinal disorders;
– people who suffer from osteomyelitis, bone inflammation (in
particular if the spinal column is damaged) or from osteoporosis;
– women who are pregnant or have just given birth;
– people who suffer from circulation problems or thrombosis;
– people who have undergone an operation for which the treatment
is not yet complete;
– people with physical abnormalities;
– people who have a malignant tumour.
■If you are unsure whether the device may be used, consult a
responsible doctor.
■Do not use the device near to or on injuries, swelling, skin
irritations, infected skin, warts, fungal infections, abnormal changes
in the skin or body parts with no feeling.
■The device must not be used for longer than 30 minutes
continuously. Do not massage one group of muscles for longer
than 15 minutes.
■If you experience an unpleasant sensation while you are using the
device, stop performing the massage immediately!
■Do not fall asleep while you are using the device!
DANGER – Danger of Electric Shock from Water!
■Use and store only in closed rooms.
■Do not use the device in rooms with high humidity.
■Never immerse the device, mains cable or mains adapter in water
or other liquids and ensure that they cannot fall into water or
become wet.
■Should the device fall into water, switch off the power supply
immediately. Do not attempt to pull the device out of the water
while it is still connected to the mains power!
■Never touch the device, mains cable or mains adapter with wet
hands when these components are connected to the mains power.

WARNING – Danger of Electric Shock from Damage and
Inappropriate Use!
■The mains supply socket must be readily accessible so that the
connection to the mains can be isolated quickly in the event of a
fault or hazard.
■Only use suitable extension cables whose technical data is the
same as that of the device.
■In the event of damage / faults (e.g. unusual noises, odour or
emission of smoke), switch the device off immediately and pull the
mains adapter out of the socket outlet.
■The device must be switched off when the mains adapter is pulled
out or inserted into the plug socket.
WARNING – Danger of Injury!
■WARNING – Danger of Suffocation! Keep children and animals
away from the packaging material.
■Danger of strangulation! Make sure that the mains cable is
always kept out of the reach of small children and animals.
■The device should only be used and stored out of the reach of
children and animals.
The mains cable must also be kept out of the reach of children
and animals. Otherwise they might use the cable to pull the
device down on themselves.
■Danger of crushing! Do not insert any fingers or other body parts
into the device. Do not open the bottom zip during use.
■Danger of tripping! Make sure that the connected supply cable
does not present a trip hazard.
WARNING – Danger of Fire!
■Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable dust
or poisonous and explosive fumes and substances in the air.
■Do not use the device under a blanket or similar item or in the
vicinity of combustible material.
■In the event of a fire: Do not extinguish with water! Smother the
flames with a fireproof blanket or a suitable fire extinguisher.
NOTE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property
■Do not lie or stand on the device.
■Protect the device from heat, naked flames, direct sunlight,
extreme temperatures, moisture and impact.

damage. If you find any damage to the components, do not use
them, contact our customer service department.
•Remove all packaging and protective coverings.

Controller
By pressing the buttons on the controller, the following functions can be
chosen:
8 ON / OFF button
9 Clockwise rotation of massage nodes
10 Counter clockwise rotation of massage nodes
11 Heat / warming function on / off
NOTE: The activated function is indicated by the
respective LED indicator lights above each control
button.
PLEASE NOTE!
■No pressure should be exerted on the device as this will slow down
or stop the massage and the device could be damaged. Do not
stand or lie on the device.
■Do not use the device for longer than 15 minutes without stopping.
■For hygiene reasons, avoid direct contact of the skin with the
device wherever possible. It should not come into contact with skin
that has had cream or oil applied to it.
■A tingling sensation / itching during or after the massage is normal
due to the increased blood flow circulation effect.

Operation procedure:
1. Insert the mains power adapter into an easily accessible mains
socket outlet.
2. Connect the mains power adapter to the supply connecting cable /
socket on the massager (2).
3. When used with the upper foot surround (7): Place your feet into
the device and in direct contact with the massage nodes.
4. When used without the foot surround: Sit down on a chair with a
backrest and place the massager so that it rests in direct contact
with the desired area of your back.
5. Press the ON / OFF button (8) to switch on the device.
6. Press the desired button for Direction (9) or (10).
7. The massage will start to operate. To switch direction, simply press
the corresponding button.
8. Press the Heat (11) button for the warming function to operate, this
may take several minutes to generate an increase in temperature.
9. Press the Heat button at any time to switch off / on as desired.
10. After 15 minutes the device will automatically switch off. To switch
off sooner, simply press the ON / OFF button once.
11.Disconnect the mains power adapter from the connecting cable /
socket on the device.
12. Pull the mains power adapter out of the mains socket outlet and
clean the device if necessary.

Cleaning and Storage
PLEASE NOTE!
■Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning,
these can cause permanent damage to the materials.
■Keep the device in a dry location at temperatures of between 0 and
40°C.
•Make sure that the device is switched off and the mains adapter
has been removed from the socket outlet.
•Wipe down the device with a damp cloth if necessary. Then wipe it
down fully with a dry cloth.
•Keep the device in its respective packaging in a clean, dry place
which is protected from dust and sunlight and is not accessible to
children and animals.
Disposal
Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally
friendly manner and take it to a recycling center.
Dispose of the device in an environmentally friendly manner, it
should not be added to general household waste. Dispose of it
at a recycling center for used electrical and electronic devices.

Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to
rectify the problem yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the
steps that are listed, then you may need to contact an authorized
appliance service centre.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device
yourself!
Problem
Possible cause / solution
The
device
does not
work.
•Has the ON/OFF button (8) been pressed correctly.
•Is the mains power adapter inserted correctly
into the socket outlet?
•Is the socket outlet defective? Try another one.
•Is the connecting cable connected correctly to
Outlet cable of the adaptor?
•The device has switched off automatically after
operating for 15 minutes. Press the ON /OFF button
again.
•There is too much force or weight on the device (this
may cause the massage motors to jam)
No heat is
produced.
•Has the heat function (11) been switched on?
•Wait for 2 – 5 minutes for the heat to transfer
The
device
gets too
warm.
•Was it in operation several times in succession for 15
minutes? A maximum of 2 successive massage
cycles should be applied. Remove the mains power
adapter from the socket outlet and allow the device to
cool down. Always disconnect the device from the
mains supply when it is not in use.
The
device
makes
noises.
•Operating noises are normal as the massager
incorporates mechanically driven parts. mechanics
and not a defect.
Smoke
emitted.
•Pull the mains power adapter out of the socket outlet
immediately and contact the customer service
department.
