PLEASE, TAKE TIME TO READ WELL THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
PARTICULARLY BEFORE THE FIRST USE.
A misuse of the appliance can amage it or hurt the user. Assure
that you use the appliance for the use for which it is esigne ;
we refuse any responsibilities as for the amages by an incorrect
use or a ba manipulation.
1. This thermometer is inten e for househol use only.
This pro uct is not inten e to iagnose any isease, but
it is a useful screening tool for temperature. Use of this
thermometer is not inten e as substitute for
consultation with your physician.
2. Keep the probe lens away from the eyes.
3. The measurement carried out by this thermometer is
only indicative.
4. Before using the pro uct, rea an follow all warnings
an instructions in this manual, even if you are familiar
with this pro uct.
5. This pro uct is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of
chil ren an pets.

successfully.

18. Before each use, make sure that the thermometer
sensor lens is lean an not amage in or er to avoi
false measurements.
19. Keeping the pro uct too long an /or exposing the
evice to external heat sources coul cause a false
rea ing of the room temperature. For this reason, the
temperature measurement may be lower or higher than
the real one.
20. Clean the thermometer after each use.
21. Do not open or repair the evice yourself, otherwise its
warranty is invali e .

USE
hange of measurement unit
To change the unit of measurement, press the “SET” button. The isplay will show the F1 menu. Press
the “+” or “-” button to select the esire unit of measurement from °C or °F.
Activate and deactivate the acoustic signal
-Press an hol the “SET” button for 2 secon s to enter F1 mo e.
-Press the “SET” button 3 more times to entre F4 mo e.
-Press the “+” or “-” to activate or eactivate the acoustic signal.
-Press “SET” again to confirm the operation.
Body temperature measurement (non-medical device)
Always make sure that the measuring lens/sensor is clean an un amage an that the surface is
clean (free of cosmetics, sweat, scars etc.). Also accept that the subject has been in a stable
environment for at least 5 minutes, that it has not been wet or amp for at least 30 minutes. It is
recommen e to measure the temperature at least 3 times (with a few minutes istance from each
other) an if this turns out ifferent with each measurement, take into account the average
temperature.
-Insert the batteries correctly into the appropriate compartment.
-To select the bo y temperature measurement mo e (non-me ical evice), when the evice is
turne on, make sure that the horizontal button is set to ORPS.
-Keep the thermometer with the lens/sensor at a istance of 1cm to 5cm from the subject.

-Press the start button again. The measurement will be complete within 1 secon . An acoustic
warning will warn you of the en of operation.
-Move the thermometer away an check the isplay which will show you the measure
temperature before automatically turning off after 8 secon s.
Measurement of object temperature
In this mo e, the temperature if an object will be isplaye , to check if it is correct (for example, milk
pow er for newborns).
-To select the object temperature measurement mo e, when the evice is turne on, make sure
that the horizontal button is set to OBJET .
-Keep the thermometer with the lens/sensor pointe towar s the object with a istance from
1cm to 5cm. Do not place the lens irectly on the surface.
-At the acoustic signal, check the temperature show on the isplay which will automatically turn
off after 8 secon s.
-Object temperature measurement mo e is not suitable for bo y measurement.
Display lighting
In a ition to the acoustic signal, the thermometer is equippe with a visual signal. By coloring the
isplay, in fact, it will possible to un erstan if the temperature is Normal (Green), Me ium (Orange)
or Hight (Re ). His setting can also be turne off.
-Press the “SET” button to access the F1 menu.
-Press the “SET” button 2 more times to access the F3 menu.
-Press “+” or “-” to activate or eactivate the lighting.
Using the memory function
This function automatically saves the last 32 measurements ma e. Press the “+” or “-”
button to view them.
Alarm Value-menu
To set up the alarm value-menu F2. To press set for 2 secon s, LCD shows F1, press set again, show
F2, press the button “+” an “-”, to set up the alarm value, press set for keep setting.

Exit the menu
To exit any menu (F1 to F4), hol own the “SET” button for 2 secon s.
The battery replacement
When the battery is low power, LCD isplay will show the symbol . It nee s to replace the
battery. Open battery cover, take out battery an loa 2pcs 1.5V AA battery. After it, please close the
battery cover as before

-LCD shows HI, the magnitu e is beyon the measurement range, that is, it is over 42,9°C in
bo y temperature mo e. It is over 80°C in subject mo e.
-LCD shows LO, the magnitu e is un er the measurement range, that is, it is un er 32°C in

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean an fry the pro uct regularly.
