Unless otherwise agreed, the warranty for this
device (except for blades) is one year from date
of purchase. The warranty covers material and
manufacturing defects. The warranty is void if
device is used improperly, dismantled, repaired
or altered by the owner or unauthorized third
party.

Waste disposal
The device shall not be disposed in household
waste. An unusable device must be submitted to
approved collection/recycling points for electro-
nics.
Safety instructions
Observe the safety instructions at all time
Unauthorized changes and/or modications of
the product are prohibited for safety reasons and
due to CE approval.
The connection cable can only be replaced only
by the manufacturer or a servicing agent appro-
ved by the manufacturer with access to speciali-
zed tools.
The structure of the heat cutter complies with the
safety class II. Make sure that the insulation of the
housing is neither damaged nor destroyed.
Operation
1. Unscrew the xing screws.
2. Insert the groove or knife blade.
3. Tighten the xing screws carefully.
4. Before plugging the device in, check that the
voltage in the socket corresponds to the vol-
tage indicated on the label on the heat cutter.
5. The blade heats up when pushing the po-
wer switch. Cutting temperature is reached
in 6-8 seconds.
6. Release the power switch on the heat cutter
after end of operation.

NOTE!
Do not hold down the power switch for extended periods;
this will result in abnormally high blade temperatures.
Allow the blade to cool down occasionally during opera-
tion. The indication “intermittent operation 1/4 min. (12s)”
means: The tool is not designed for continuous operation.
After 12 seconds of heating operation, the device shall
cool for 48 seconds.
