Safety Warnings
1� Your fan should be used in such a way that it is protected from moisture, e.g. condensation, splashed water, etc. Do not
place or store your fan where it can fall or be pulled into water or any other liquid.
2� Do not place any objects on top of the fan. Stand the fan on a stable, level surface during use. Do not allow your fan to
sit on top of the mains cable.
3� Do not remove any fixed covers. Never use this appliance if it is not working properly, or if it has been dropped or
damaged. Always contact a qualified technician to carry out repairs.
4� Do not press the buttons on the control panel with anything other than your fingers.
5� If the fan is knocked over during use, turn off the unit and unplug it from the mains supply immediately.
6� Do not operate your fan in the bathroom.
7� Do not use hazardous chemicals to clean or come into contact with the fan. Never attempt to use the fan without the
base parts assembled or in a horizontal position.
8� This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
9� Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
10� If the mains cable is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent , or similarly qualified persons
in order to avoid a hazard.
11� Ensure that the fan is switched off from the mains supply before removing the guard.

Remove all packaging from the Iron. Retain the packaging. If you dispose of it please do so according to local regulations.

• Avoid using your fan in hazardous areas.
• Do not use your fan if it has not been fully assembled. Make sure that the screws that hold the base parts
and the main unit together are tightened securely.
Assembling Your Fan
3. Unscrew and take off the Thumbscrew and Height
Adjustment Nut from the Stand. Slide the Stand Cover
down the column to rest on the Base. Pull out the
Extension Tube and refit the Height Adjustment Nut.
The Height Adjustment Nut must be fully tightened
before assembling the motor section to the stand.
1. Unscrew the 4 Screws, 4 Butterfly Screws and the
Underpan Weight from the Base.
4. Fit the Motor section to the Stand and tighten the
Thumbscrew. The thumbscrew must be fully tightened
before the fan is operated. Remove the fibre glass sleeve
from the shaft and unscrew the Guard Retaining Nut.

2. Pass the Stand Cover through the Stand. Use the 4
Screws and 4 Butterfly Screws to attach the Stand, and
the Underpan Weight to the Base.

5. Set the Rear Guard in the proper position (handle
uppermost) and screw on the Guard Retaining Nut
until tight.
6. Install the Blade onto the shaft and screw on the Blade
Retaining Screw until tight

7. Open the Clips on the Front Guard and place the Front
Guard onto the Rear Guard (align locking screw holes)
and close the Clips.
8. Secure both guards firmly by aligning the guard collar
correctly and tightening the locking screw and nut.

How to Use Your Fan
Cleaning
Hints and Tips
Turn the Speed Dial for the required fan speed.
The following settings are available:
0- Off
1- Low Speed
2- Intermediate Speed
3- High Speed
1� To make the fan head oscillate, push the Oscillating Control down. To
stop the oscillation, pull the Oscillating Control up.
Use a short, damp cloth to wipe the outer body of the unit. Never completely cover the unit with water or use chemicals or
detergents as they could damage the unit in some way.

PROBLEM SOLUTION
The force of air coming from the
unit is weak.
Adjust the speed to a higher setting.
The unit does not work. Check that the plug is connected correctly and that the unit is
turned on at the mains supply.
Other abnormal conditions. Disconnect the fan from the wall and consult a repair specialist.
2� Adjust the tilt of the fan head to the desired angle by holding the
handle and pushing gently up or down on the fan guard.
