Minimum System Requirements
•ADSL Subscription
•3G/4G USB MODEM with active subscription
•3G/4G USB MODEM is compatible with HN-DR4PN2U
•PC with Ethernet Port and/or Wireless
•Wireless Adapter for non Wireless-enabled PCs
Hardware Installation
1. If you have ADSL Subscription only and no 3G/4G USB MODEM
•Connect one end of the telephone cable to the Line port on the LogN HN-
DR4PN2U.
•Connect the other end of the telephone cable into the ADSL port of the ADSL
splitter or directly to the wall phone socket.
•Connect the ADSL splitter line port to the wall phone socket whereby the ADSL
service is activated.
2. If you have 3G/4G USB MODEM only and no ADSL Subscription
•Plug your 3G/4G USB MODEM into the USB port

3. If you have both ADSL Subscription and 3G/4G USB MODEM (Back-up mode)
•Follow both step 1 and 2
Back-up feature means when the ADSL Internet is down, 3G/4G internet
wakes-up and gets active. When ADSL Internet is back active, 3G/4G internet
sleeps back and gets inactive.
4. Connect the power adapter to the power socket.
5. Switch on your LogN HN-DR4PN2U.
Make sure:
•PWR Led is ON (Stable/Yellow)
•WLAN Led is ON (Stable/Yellow)
•ADSL Led is ON (Stable/Yellow) after little time of blinking (In case you have
ADSL Subscription and you have connected the telephone cable to your LogN
HN-DR4PN2U)
•USB Led is ON (In case you have 3G/4G USB MODEM and you have plugged it
into the USB port)
•Internet Led is OFF (It will go ON after little time if you only have 3G/4G USB
MODEM and no Telephone line is plugged)
6. Select to connect your PC to LogN HN-DR4PN2U either wirelessly or by wire. Make
sure not to connect both wirelessly and by wire at the same time.
•If wirelessly, make sure your PC wireless is ON, search for “LogN” in your PC
wireless list, connect.
•If by wire, connect one end of the LAN cable to the LAN port of the LogN HN-
DR4PN2U, connect the other end of the LAN cable to the LAN port of your PC or
laptop. Make sure the selected LAN port Led is ON (Stable/Yellow).
Hardware Configuration
Running 3G/4G Internet Service
1. 3G/4G USB MODEM works by plugging it and powering LogN HN-DR4PN2U ON. Wait a
little until the 3G/4G USB MODEM LED settles, you will find Internet Led ON (Blinking
Fast/Yellow). You are connected to 3G/4G Internet.
Note:
In case you only have 3G/4G USB MODEM, you will need no configuration for the “ADSL
Internet Service”. You may only need to proceed with “Changing Wireless Name” and/or
“Securing Wireless Connection”.
In case you have both ADSL Subscription and 3G/4G USB MODEM, you can enjoy the Back-
up feature. You still need to proceed with “ADSL Internet Service” and/or “Changing
Wireless Name”/ “Securing Wireless Connection”.

Going to Quick Setup page
1. Make sure that your PC Operating System (ex. Windows) tells you are connected to
LogN HN-DR4PN2U either wirelessly or by wire.
2. Open your Internet Browser (ex. Internet Explorer), Type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar
and press “enter”.
3. A small window will pop-up telling that 192.168.1.1 is requesting for user name and
password to access LogN HN-DR4PN2U GUI page. Type “admin” for user name and
“password” for password. Make sure that you write the user name and password
correctly and in small characters. You will be led to LogN HN-DR4PN2U status page.
4. Select “Quick Setup” button from the shown menu.

Running ADSL Internet Service
5. Type your Internet Service Provider ISP (ex. TEdata) user name and password at “PPP
username/password”. You can call your ISP to get your user name and password for
your ADSL subscription.
6. Do not press “Apply/Save” if you still want to change wireless name or secure your
wireless connection.
7. If you do not want to change wireless name or secure your wireless connection, press
“Apply/Save”, you will be directed to “Quick Setup Successful” page below, Press
“Next”, you will be directed to LogN HN-DR4PN2U status page again, you are now
finished with configuration.

8. You will find Internet Led ON (Blinking Fast/Yellow). You are connected to Internet now.
Changing Wireless Name
9. If you want to change wireless name, in the “Quick Setup” page, Change SSID “LogN” to
the name you want your wireless network to appear with.
10. Do not press “Apply/Save” if you still want to secure your wireless connection.
11. If you do not want to secure your wireless connection, press “Apply/Save”, you will be
directed to “Quick Setup Successful” page above, Press “Next”, you will be directed to
LogN HN-DR4PN2U status page again, you are now finished with configuration.
12. If proceeding from “Running ADSL Internet Service”, you will find Internet Led ON
(Blinking Fast/Yellow). You are connected to Internet now and you have changed the
wireless name.
Note that if your PC was originally connected to LogN HN-DR4PN2U wirelessly, your
connection will normally cut for the name of wireless was changed, search your PC
wireless list for the new name and connect.
Securing Wireless Connection
13. If you want to secure your wireless connection, in the “Quick Setup” page, type your
password at “Passphrase”, Make sure it should be 8 characters at least.
14. Press “Apply/Save”, you will be directed to “Quick Setup Successful” page above, Press
“Next”, you will be directed to LogN HN-DR4PN2U status page again, you are now
finished with configuration.
15. If proceeding from “Running ADSL Internet Service”, you will find Internet Led ON
(Blinking Fast/Yellow). You are connected to Internet now and you have changed the
wireless name.
Note that if your PC was originally connected to LogN HN-DR4PN2U wirelessly, your
connection will normally cut for the name of wireless was changed and/or for the
connection was secured, search your PC wireless list for the new name and connect.
