1Lojer 3-section bench
The Lojer 3-section bench is to be used in medical fitness and rehabilitation under physiotherapist’s supervision,
together with a training plan made by the therapy professional. Training plan should include the method, accessories,
weight and number of repeats.
This document will provide you with the instructions you need to operate and maintain the Lojer 3-section bench.
Carefully familiarise yourself with this manual before unpacking and using the device. Use the device only as described
and for the specified applications. Store these instructions in an appropriate way, making sure that the instructions
are available to all possible users throughtout the life of the device. Make sure that all the persons using the device
have access to this manual.
To prevent unnecessary accidents, please adhere to the instructions given in this document.

2.2 Accessories
Accessories available for Lojer 3-section bench are seen in the Figure 2 which enable different type of exercises. Use
only accessories that are defined by the manufacturer.

2.3 Symbols used on the Pulleys
The following symbols and markings are used on all Lojer Pulleys. The symbols can be found on the device.

3Delivery inspection
Before the device is put into use, check that the packaging is intact and that it has not been damaged in transit. Please
notify the Delivery Company and supplier about any transit damage within two (2) days of receiving the goods.
Ensure that the delivery contains all parts detailed in the delivery note. If there is anything missing from the delivery
consignment, please contact the supplier immediately.
The device can be stored/transported at a temperature of -10..+40 °C and used +10..40 °C. The
permitted humidity level is 30 - 75%.
4Before use
The product is intended for use in normal, dry indoor conditions. Ensure that the temperature of the room is between
+10 and +40 C° and that the humidity is within the range 30-75%. If there is a chance that the product has been
subjected to below zero temperatures in transit, let it warm up indoors for at least 5 hours before using any of its
features.

4.1 Installation
For the installation you need following tools (Figure 3):
The package should include all parts seen below (Figure 4).
Place parts 2 and 3 on according to the figure below (Figure 5).
Attach the parts to the bench with a bolt and nut.

Place parts 4 and 5 according to the figure below (Figure 6).
Attach part 4 to the end of the bench which has the adjustable seat. Attach the parts to the bench with a bolt and nut.
Make sure that all bolts are properly tightened.
4.2 Warnings
The physiotherapist should always supervise the training.
Inspect the device before use. Do not use if the device appears damaged or inoperable.
Do not use the device if the component is found worn or damaged.
Keep body and clothing free and clear of all moving parts. Failure to do so could result in personal
injury.
Do not modify the structure of the device or install parts other than those mentioned in this
document on the device.
Do not use the device for transporting the patients.
WARNING! Children or other individuals who do not know or have no experience of the device must
not use the device without supervision. Children must be supervised in order to ensure that they do
not play with the device!

5Functions and adjustments
5.1 Angle adjustment of the different sections
Increase the angle of the first section by lifting the bench (Figure 7) between 0…25°. The desired angle will be locked
by releasing the seat. Decrease the angle by loosening the locking lever and choosing the new angle.
The angle on the second seat can be adjusted (Figure 8) between 0…70°. Adjust the seat same way as previously
mentioned first section.
Please make sure that nothing is between the structure while adjusting the table.
5.2 Lenght adjustment
The adjustment of the length of the middle section:
-when pulling the yellow knob (Figure 1, (2)) under the section, you’re able to adjust the length of
the bemch.
-Release the knob when the length is appropriate
Make sure that the bench is properly locked.
5.3 Neck support (accessory)
A neck support is available as an accessory for Lojer 3-section bench. It support the patient’s head and neck during
exercise. Keep the neck support on the side of the bench (the pad outward) when the support is not used.

5.4 Shoulder rotation trainer (accessory)
Shoulder rotation trainer is to be installed to that end of the Lojer 3-section bench where you can find the castors.
Install the device as seen in the Figure 9.

Lenght adjustment of the hand support
Adjust height by loosening the screw (1). Tighten the knob when the device is on desired height. Loosen the angle
adjustment lever (2) and adjust the angle to desired position. Adjust the lenght of the hand support according to the
lenght of the arm. Loosen the screw (3), adjust the lenght and tighten the screw.

Make sure that the screws are properly tightened.
Do not use the device with out instructions and supervision of the healthcare professional.
6Cleaning
Clean the different sections of the device with a moist cloth and mild general purpose cleaning agent, for example,
Desiplint (dilution ration 1:10). The Desiplint cleaning agent is suitable also for cleaning all leather upholstery of other
training devices.
Do not place steam packs on the surfaces since the heat may damage the upholstery.
7Maintenance
Keep record of all service measures.
Maintenance can be carried out only by authorized service personnel.
Inspect the device regularly. Do not use if the component is found worn or damaged.
If the device makes abnormal noises or does not function correctly, perform the maintenance measures without delay
and/or contact the distributor's maintenance service.

8.1 Standards
LOJER 19100 Pulley, 19200 Speed Pulley and 19300 Vertical Pull are in conformity with the following essential
requirements of the Directive 93/42/EEC (Medical Devices) and the corresponding Finnish National Law no. 629
(2010). The designing of these devices is based on the following harmonized standards:
IEC 62366:2007,
EN ISO 14971:2009,
Quality Management System: ISO 9001:2000
The products are marked with the CE marking.

10 Limited international warranty

Thank you for purchasing this quality product from LOJER. Our products are developed to meet high standards in both
quality and technology. To further ensure quality, we grant you, the final customer, warranty on our products in
accordance with the following conditions. LOJER products are free from defects in material and workmanship under
normal use and service for the following periods and in the following respects
TEN YEAR WARRANTY –Steel structures and Welds
TWO YEAR WARRANTY –Electric Actuators, Hand/Foot Controls, Control Boxes, Bearings, Wheels, Gas Springs, Shafts,
Cables, Upholsteries and all other components not mentioned elsewhere in this warranty.
Any transportation damages must be informed to Transportation Company and LOJER within two days of the delivery.
Defects that are caused by improper use are excluded from the warranty. Proper operation is understood to be
operation of the product under the conditions described in the user manual or other documentation of the product.
This limited warranty DOES NOT cover and no warranty is given with respect to:
Products not manufactured by LOJER.
Products which are altered without the express written consent of LOJER
Products purchased other than directly from LOJER or through a LOJER Authorized Dealer.
International warranty conditions
1. The warranty is only valid if the warranty demand is presented with the original invoice or sales slip or (order)
confirmation, and the serial number on the product has not been defaced.
2. LOJER’s obligations are limited to the repair or, at its discretion, replacement of the product or the defective part.
Defective parts shall be replaced with new or as good as new parts. If necessary, the entire product shall be
exchanged with an identical or functionally identical product. The value of the warranty service is always limited to the
value of the defective product. The defective parts removed from a product as part of a warranty case shall become
the property of LOJER and shall be retained for by the End Customer for LOJER, if necessary. If these parts cannot be
returned to LOJER upon request, LOJER is entitled to charge for a corresponding amount.
For genuine LOJER parts used in warranty cases, only the remaining warranty period of the repair device applies,
should these parts be installed in a LOJER product.
3. In case of warranty repairs, they must be carried out by LOJER or authorised LOJER - Dealers. No re-imbursement
will be made for repairs carried out by non LOJER representative and, any such repair work and damage to the
products caused by such repair work will not be covered by this warranty.
4. This product is not considered to be defective in materials nor workmanship by reason that it requires adaptation in
order to conform to national or local technical or safety standards in force in any Country other than the one for
which the product was originally designed and manufactured.
5. This warranty covers none of the following:
a) Periodic check ups, maintenance and repair or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear (such as
upholsteries, cables, ropes or reduced capacity of accumulators)
b) Cost relating to transport, removal or installation of the product.
c) Misuse, including the failure to use this product for its normal purposes or incorrect installation.

d) Damage caused by Lightning, Water, Fire, Acts of God, Natural Catastrophes, War, Public Disturbances, incorrect
mains voltage or any other cause beyond the control of Lojer.
e) Spillage of chemicals or liquid or use of any other hazardous or non-instructed substances, which may effect the
product.
f) Minor defects or deviations from the product specifications, that are immaterial or negligible or trivial as regards to
the value or the functioning of the product
Proceeding in a warranty case
The following information is an explanation of what you must do in the case of a warranty claim. At first, please
contact your LOJER dealer. There our employees will help to diagnose defects and malfunctions. They are often
capable of eliminating the malfunction over the phone.
In the event that warranty service is required, you should return the product to the dealer from whom it was
purchased, or directly to LOJER factory in Finland. For this, the customer is responsible for the despatch and insurance
of the product. The transport and insurance costs shall be borne by the customer. LOJER shall assume the costs for the
materials / spare parts and the labour costs as required, as well as the standard return transportation to the sender. In
case of difficulty, details of the local dealers are available in www.lojer.com. You may also contact the service center in
Finland (email: service@lojer.com).
The guarantee will become void
if a Lojer product is equipped or used with parts that have not been approved by Lojer for the
product in question.
if someone other than a person authorised by Lojer has serviced/repaired or otherwise modified
the device and these measures have caused a fault in the product.
if the product is cleaned with cleaning agents other than those specified in the operating
manual, or if the product is put into direct contact with agents other than those specified in the
manual.
if the regular maintenance has not been performed.
