Introduction
The LONG 460 tractor,
is
a wheeled all-purpose tractor, with pneumatic tires,
intended for farming operations carried out in conjunction with trailed and
suspended implements
as
well
as
for
transport jobs.
It
is
a mean power
tractor
, equipped with a Diesel engine of 45
HP
at 2400
r.p.m
.,
with direct fuel injection and
electric
start.
Its hydraulic system
as
well
as
the front and rear axle track adjustment enable
the LONG 460 tractor to operate with a diversity of agricultural implements and
to cope with many farming jobs.
The V-460 vineyard model derives from the U-445 tractor and differs from it
by:
-rear axle housing with hand-actuated differential l
ock
-narrower final drive housing
-front axle -lower and narrower
-front wheel with 5.00-15 tires (rim. 3.00 D X 15)
-read wheel with 11.20-28 tires (rim W 1OX 28)
-electrical equipment.
The L-460
tractor
, meant
for
high clearance gardening derives from the
LONG-460
tractor
and differs from it
as
follows:
-
front
axle with longer steering knuckle pin
-final drive housing rotated by 36°
-rear wheels with 9.50-36 tires (rim W8 X 36)
-electrical equipment.
