Diese Gebrauchsanleitung bezieht sich ausschließlich auf die Louis Sitzbankabdeckung. Sie enthält
wichtige Hinweise zu Sicherheit und Handhabung. Lesen Sie die Gebrauchsanleitung, insbesondere
die Sicherheitshinweise, sorgfältig durch, bevor Sie die Sitzbankabdeckung an Ihrem Fahrzeug
verwenden. Die Nichtbeachtung dieser Gebrauchsanleitung kann zu schweren Verletzungen oder zu
Schäden an Ihrem Fahrzeug führen. Bewahren Sie die Gebrauchsanleitung für die weitere Nutzung
gut auf. Wenn Sie die Sitzbankabdeckung an Dritte weiterreichen, geben Sie unbedingt diese
Gebrauchsanleitung mit.
Die Gebrauchsanleitung basiert auf den in der Europäischen Union gültigen Normen und Regeln.
Beachten Sie im Ausland auch landesspezifische Richtlinien und Gesetze.

Die folgenden Symbole und Signalwörter werden in dieser Gebrauchsanleitung, auf der
Sitzbankabdeckung oder auf der Verpackung verwendet.
3 | Sicherheit
3.1 | Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Die vorliegende Sitzbankabdeckung schützt – richtig angewandt – Ihre Sitzbank vor vorzeitiger Alterung
und damit Wertminderung durch Straßenschmutz, Regen, UV-Strahlen usw. Hierfür ist es unbedingt
notwendig, dass Sie die folgenden Gebrauchs- und Sicherheitsanweisungen befolgen.
Da es sich bei diesem Produkt um ein universell einsetzbares Produkt ohne spezifische
Fahrzeugzuordnung handelt, ist es wichtig, dass Sie sich vor dem ersten Gebrauch davon überzeugen,
dass das Produkt sich ohne Probleme sachgerecht an Ihrem Fahrzeugtyp verwenden lässt. Achten
Sie dabei unbedingt auf die Angaben Ihrer Fahrzeug-Bedienungsanleitung und die Vorgaben des
Fahrzeugherstellers.
Dieses Signalsymbol/-wort bezeichnet eine Gefährdung mit einem
mittleren Risikograd, die, wenn sie nicht vermieden wird, den Tod
oder eine schwere Verletzung zur Folge haben kann.

3.2 | Sicherheitshinweise
Unfallgefahr!
• Diese Sitzbankabdeckung ist kein Schonbezug für Ihre Sitzbank (wie Sie dieses
ggf. aus Ihrem PKW kennen). Sie ist nicht zur Nutzung im Fahrbetrieb geeignet,
da sie keinen festen Halt des Fahrers auf der Sitzbank garantiert. Bitte entfernen
Sie die Abdeckung deshalb, bevor Sie sich auf die Sitzbank setzen.
Gefahren für Kinder und Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen
oder mentalen Fähigkeiten (beispielsweise teilweise Behinderte, ältere
Personen mit Einschränkung ihrer physischen und mentalen Fähigkeiten) oder
Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen im Umgang mit Motorrädern (beispielsweise
ältere Kinder).
• Diese Sitzbankabdeckung von Kindern fernhalten. Niemals als Zelt oder
ähnliches verwenden (Erstickungsgefahr).
• Zum Lieferumfang gehörende Verpackungsfolie halten Sie fern von Kindern, da
Erstickungsgefahr besteht.
Beschädigungsgefahr!
• Da das Material der Abdeckung nicht atmungsaktiv ist, dürfen Sie diese niemals
über feuchte Zweiradteile legen. Die eingeschlossene Feuchtigkeit kann zu
Korrosion an Zweiradbauteilen führen. Vermeiden Sie möglichst eine direkte
Sonneneinstrahlung; stellen Sie Ihr abgedecktes Zweirad im Schatten ab. Dieses
verhindert die Bildung von Kondenswasser unter der Sitzbankabdeckung.
• Stülpen Sie niemals die Sitzbankabdeckung über eine verschmutzte Sitzbank.
Durch den Schleifeffekt beim Überstülpen oder Flattern im Wind können Sand
und Schmutz zwischen Abdeckung und Sitzbank bzw. Zweiradteilen, Kratzer am
Zweirad verursachen. Bitte seien Sie beim Überstülpen vorsichtig bei scharfen
Kanten und Ecken am Fahrzeug.
• Benutzen Sie die Abdeckung nicht bei frisch lackierten, versiegelten oder
auf andere Art chemisch behandelten Fahrzeugteilen. Viele eingesetzte
Lösungsmittel dünsten bis zu 6 Monate nach dem Aufbringen aus. Diese Gase
können, wenn Sie von einer Abdeckung eingeschlossen sind, die Abdeckung und
das Zweirad schädigen. Beachten Sie dieses besonders bei Neufahrzeugen.
• Wenn das Zweirad vor der Verwendung der Sitzbankabdeckung (z.B. zum
Überwintern oder Pflegen etc.) mit einem Schutzspray gegen Korrosion behandelt
wurde, kann es zu chemischen Reaktionen mit der Abdeckung kommen und
Sitzbankabdeckung wie Zweirad, Schaden nehmen.
4 | Anwendung
Die Sitzbankabdeckung wird so über die Fahrzeugsitzbank gezogen, dass sie diese ganzflächig abdeckt.
Der Gummizug wird so um die Kanten geführt, dass die Sitzbankabdeckung nicht vom Wind davonge-
weht werden kann. Dazu ist zunächst sicherzustellen, dass die Fahrzeugsitzbank von der Formgebung
her die Verwendung ermöglicht.
5 | Lagerung und Pflege
Diese Sitzbankabdeckung darf ausschließlich mit klarem, lauwarmen Wasser abgewischt werden. Be-
nutzen Sie keinesfalls Wasch- oder sonstige Reinigungsmittel. Legen Sie die Abdeckung zum Trocknen
über eine Wäscheleine im Freien bzw. in dafür vorgesehene Räume.
6 | Gewährleistung
Für die Sitzbankabdeckung gilt die gesetzliche Gewährleistung von zwei Jahren. Der Gewährleistungs-
zeitraum beginnt ab dem Kaufdatum. Gebrauchsspuren, Zweckentfremdung, nicht bestimmungsgemä-
ßer Gebrauch und Schäden, die aus einem Unfall, einer Manipulation oder einem Reparaturversuch
durch unautorisierte Personen resultieren, sind von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen.
7 | Entsorgung
Verpackung entsorgen
Entsorgen Sie die Verpackung sortenrein. Geben Sie Pappe
und Karton zum Altpapier, Folien in die Wertstoffsammlung.
Die Sitzbankabdeckung entsorgen
(Anwendbar in der Europäischen Union und anderen europäischen Staaten mit Systemen zur ge-
trennten Sammlung von Wertstoffen)
Soll die Sitzbankabdeckung entsorgt werden, geben Sie diese in den Hausmüll oder entsorgen Sie sie

These instructions for use apply exclusively to the Louis seat cowl. They contain important notes
on safety and handling. Read the instructions for use carefully, in particular the safety instructions,
before using the seat cowl on your vehicle. Failure to adhere to these instructions for use can lead
to serious injury or damage to your vehicle. Keep the instructions for use for future reference. If you
pass the seat cowl on to third parties, you must hand over these instructions for use.
The instructions for use are based on the standards and regulations valid in the European Union. If
abroad, observe country-specific guidelines and laws.

3 | Safety
3.1 | Intended use
Used correctly, this seat cowl will protect your seat from premature ageing and thus any loss in
value caused by road grime, rain and UV rays etc. It is imperative that you adhere to the following
instructions for use and safety.
Since this is a universal product and not intended just for one particular vehicle, it is important to
make sure that it is suitable for your type of vehicle before you use it for the first time. Always follow
the instructions in your vehicle owner's manual and the directions of the vehicle manufacturer.

3.2 | Safety instructions
Risk of accident!
• This seat cowl is not a seat cover for your seat (as you may be familiar with from
your car). It is not suitable for use when riding as it does not guarantee a firm
hold for the rider on the seat. Please remove the cowl before sitting on the seat.
Danger for children and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
abilities (e.g. partially disabled persons, elderly persons with reduced physical
and mental abilities) or lack of experience and knowledge of dealing with
motorcycles (e.g. older children).
• Keep this seat cowl out of the reach of children. Never use it as a tent or for any
similar purpose (danger of suffocation).
• Keep the packaging film away from children, as there is a danger of suffocation.
Risk of damage!
• Never place the cowl over damp motorcycle components, as the material is
not breathable. The trapped moisture may lead to corrosion of motorcycle
components. Avoid direct sunlight wherever possible by leaving your motorcycle
in the shade when you use the seat cowl. This will help prevent condensation
from forming under the seat cowl.
• Never fit the seat cowl over a dirty seat. If the cowl gets pulled over or flaps in
the wind, sand and dirt may get caught between the cowl and seat or parts of
the bike, resulting in scratching. Always be careful when fitting the cowl over any
sharp edges and corners on your motorcycle.
• Do not use the cowl if any motorcycle components have been freshly painted,
sealed or treated with any other chemicals. Many of the solvents used continue
to evaporate for up to 6 months after application. If trapped under a cowl,
these gases may damage the cowl and the motorcycle. Please bear this in mind
particularly with new vehicles.
• If your bike has been sprayed with corrosion inhibitor (e.g. for winter storage
or maintenance etc.) prior to using the seat cowl, this may cause a chemical
reaction with the cowl, which, in turn, may damage the cowl and bike.
4 | How to use
The seat cowl should be pulled over the vehicle seat so that it covers it completely. The elastic band
should be laid around the edges so that the seat cowl cannot be blown away by the wind. To do this,
you first have to make sure that the shape of the vehicle seat is compatible with use of the cowl.
5 | Storage and care
Only use clear, lukewarm water to clean the seat cowl. Never use detergents or other cleaning agents.
To dry the cowl, hang it on an outdoor or indoor washing line.
6 | Warranty
Your seat cowl is covered by the statutory two-year warranty. The warranty period begins on the date
of purchase. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, use for anything other than the
intended purpose, or damage caused by an accident, manipulation or an attempt to carry out repairs by
unauthorised persons.
7 | Disposal
Disposing of the packaging
Please dispose of the packaging appropriately. Dispose of cardboard and cardboard
boxes with waste paper and dispose of plastic film with recyclables.
Disposing of the seat cowl

If you wish to dispose of the seat cowl, dispose of it with the household waste, or hand it over at a

3.2 | Consignes de sécurité

• Cette housse de protection de selle n'est pas une housse de selle (comme, le
cas échéant, les housses dont vous disposez sur vos sièges de voiture). Elle
ne convient pas à une utilisation pendant la conduite, car elle ne permet pas
de garantir la stabilité du conducteur sur la selle du véhicule. Veuillez donc
impérativement retirer la housse avant de vous asseoir sur la selle de votre
deux-roues.
Cette housse représente un danger pour les enfants et les personnes dont les
capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales sont réduites (par ex. personnes
souffrant d'un handicap partiel ou personnes âgées dont les capacités physiques
et mentales sont restreintes) ou les personnes qui ne disposent pas de
l'expérience ou des connaissances requises pour la manipulation des motos (par
ex. des enfants plus âgés).
• Tenez cette housse de protection de selle hors de portée des enfants. Ne
l'employez jamais comme tente ou objet similaire (risque d'asphyxie).
• Conservez le film d'emballage faisant partie de l'équipement fourni hors de
portée des enfants. Risque d'asphyxie.
Risque de dommage !
• La matière de la housse n'étant pas respirante, il est interdit de poser la
housse sur des pièces humides du deux-roues. L'humidité ainsi retenue pourrait
corroder des pièces du deux-roues. Dans la mesure du possible, évitez toute
exposition directe au soleil ; rangez votre deux-roues à l'ombre après l'avoir
recouvert de la housse. Cela permet de réduire la formation de condensation au-
dessous de la housse de protection de selle.
• N'enfilez jamais la housse de protection de selle sur une selle encrassée. Le
frottement de sable ou de saletés durant la mise en place de la housse et les
battements du vent risqueraient de provoquer des rayures entre la housse et
la selle ou des pièces du deux-roues. Durant la mise en place, faites preuve de
prudence au niveau des arêtes et angles tranchants du véhicule.
• N'utilisez pas la housse directement après l'application de peinture, de vernis
ou d'autres produits chimiques sur les pièces du véhicule. De nombreux
solvants employés peuvent dégager des gaz pendant les 6 mois qui suivent
l'application. Lorsqu'ils sont retenus dans une housse, ces gaz peuvent
endommager la housse et le deux-roues. Cela s'applique particulièrement aux
véhicules neufs.
• Si le deux-roues a été traité avec un spray de protection anticorrosion (par
ex. en vue de l'hivernage ou de l'entretien) avant l'utilisation de la housse de
protection de selle, ce spray peut provoquer une réaction chimique au contact de
la housse et endommager cette dernière et le deux-roues.
4 | Emploi
Enfilez la housse de protection sur la selle de votre véhicule de manière à la recouvrir entièrement.
Passez l'élastique autour des bords de manière à vous assurer que le vent ne puisse pas retirer la
housse de protection de selle. Pour cela, assurez-vous que, du point de vue de la forme, la housse
peut être utilisée avec la selle du véhicule.
5 | Stockage et entretien
Cette housse de protection de selle doit uniquement être essuyée avec un chiffon imbibé à l'eau claire
tiède. N'utilisez jamais de lessive ni d'autres détergents. Pour sécher la housse, accrochez-la en plein
air sur une corde à linge ou dans des locaux prévus à cet effet.
6 | Garantie légale
La housse de protection de selle est couverte par la garantie légale de deux ans. La période de
garantie commence à compter de la date d'achat. Tout signe d'usure, toute utilisation non conforme
ou à des fins autres que celles prévues, tout dommage dû à un accident, à une manipulation ou à une
tentative de réparation par des personnes non autorisées sont exclus de la garantie.
7 | Élimination
Élimination de l'emballage
Éliminez l'emballage en procédant au tri sélectif. Éliminez le papier et le carton avec le
papier destiné au recyclage et les films plastiques dans la poubelle appropriée.

2.1 | Gebruiksaanwijzing lezen en bewaren
Deze gebruiksaanwijzing heeft uitsluitend betrekking op de Louis zadelhoes. De gebruiksaanwijzing
bevat belangrijke aanwijzingen over de veiligheid en het gebruik. Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing, vooral
de veiligheidsaanwijzingen, aandachtig door voordat u de zadelhoes op uw voertuig gaat gebruiken. Bij
veronachtzaming van deze gebruiksaanwijzing kan ernstig letsel of schade aan uw voertuig het gevolg
zijn. Berg de gebruiksaanwijzing goed op voor verder gebruik. Wanneer u de zadelhoes aan derden
doorgeeft, geef deze gebruiksaanwijzing dan altijd mee.
Deze gebruiksaanwijzing is gebaseerd op de normen en voorschriften die in de Europese Unie gelden.

2.2 | Toelichting bij symbolen
De volgende symbolen en signaalwoorden worden gebruikt in deze gebruiksaanwijzing, op de Louis
zadelhoes of op de verpakking.
3 | Veiligheid
3.1 | Beoogd gebruik
Deze zadelhoes beschermt uw zadel (bij correct gebruik) tegen voortijdige veroudering en daarmee
waardeverlies door straatvuil, regen, UV-straling, enz. Daarvoor moet u absoluut de volgende gebruiks-
en veiligheidsinstructies in acht nemen.
Omdat het bij dit product gaat om een universeel inzetbaar product dat geschikt is voor diverse
voertuigen, is het belangrijk dat u zichzelf er vóór het eerste gebruik van overtuigt dat het product
doelmatig zonder problemen in combinatie met uw voertuigtype kan worden gebruikt. Houd hierbij
altijd rekening met de informatie in de gebruiksaanwijzing van uw voertuig en de voorschriften van de
fabrikant van uw voertuig.
Dit symbool/signaalwoord duidt op een gevaar met een
gemiddelde risicograad dat de dood of ernstig letsel tot gevolg
kan hebben als het niet wordt vermeden.
Dit signaalwoord waarschuwt voor mogelijke materiële schade.

3.2 | Veiligheidsaanwijzingen
Gevaar voor ongevallen!
• Deze zadelhoes is geen beschermende overtrek voor uw zadel (zoals u dit evt.
uit uw personenauto kent). Deze is niet geschikt voor gebruik tijdens het rijden,
omdat de hoes niet garandeert dat de bestuurder stevig op het zadel kan blijven
zitten. Verwijder de hoes daarom, voordat u op het zadel gaat zitten.
Gevaren voor kinderen en personen met verminderde lichamelijke, zintuiglijke
of geestelijke vermogens (bijvoorbeeld gedeeltelijk gehandicapten, oudere
personen met lichamelijke en geestelijke beperkingen) of gebrek aan ervaring
en kennis in de omgang met motoren (bijvoorbeeld oudere kinderen).
• Houd deze zadelhoes buiten het bereik van kinderen. Gebruik de hoes nooit als
tent of iets dergelijks (gevaar voor verstikking).
• Houd bij de levering horende verpakkingsfolie buiten het bereik van kinderen,
want er bestaat verstikkingsgevaar.

• Omdat het materiaal van de hoes niet ademend is, mag u deze nooit over
vochtige onderdelen van de tweewieler aanbrengen. Het ingesloten vocht kan
leiden tot corrosie op onderdelen van de tweewieler. Vermijd indien mogelijk
direct zonlicht; plaats uw afgedekte tweewieler in de schaduw. Dit verhindert de
vorming van condenswater onder de zadelhoes.
• Breng de zadelhoes nooit aan over een vuil zadel. Door een schurend effect
bij het aanbrengen of klapperen in de wind kunnen zand en vuil tussen de
hoes en het zadel of onderdelen van de tweewieler krassen veroorzaken. Wees
voorzichtig met scherpe randen en hoeken op het voertuig wanneer u de hoes
erover trekt.
• Gebruik de hoes niet bij zojuist gelakte, verzegelde of op een andere manier
chemisch behandelde voertuigonderdelen. Veel gebruikte oplosmiddelen kunnen
tot 6 maanden na het aanbrengen nog uitdampen. Wanneer deze gassen door
een hoes worden ingesloten, kunnen ze de hoes en de tweewieler beschadigen.
Houd hiermee vooral rekening bij nieuwe voertuigen.
• Wanneer u de tweewieler vóór het gebruik van de zadelhoes heeft behandeld
met een spray voor corrosiebescherming (bijv. voor de winterstop of bij een
onderhoudsbeurt), kunnen er chemische reacties met de hoes optreden en
kunnen de zadelhoes en de tweewieler worden beschadigd.
4 | Toepassing
De zadelhoes wordt zodanig over het voertuigzadel getrokken dat de hoes het zadel helemaal afdekt.
Het elastiek wordt zodanig om de kanten gelegd dat de zadelhoes niet door de wind kan worden
weggeblazen. Daarbij moet er eerst worden gecontroleerd of de vorm van het voertuigzadel het gebruik
mogelijk maakt.
5 | Opslag en onderhoud
Deze zadelhoes mag uitsluitend met helder, lauwwarm water worden afgeveegd. Gebruik in geen geval
was- of andere reinigingsmiddelen. Laat de hoes in de buitenlucht of een daartoe bestemde ruimte
drogen aan een waslijn.
6 | Garantie
Voor de zadelhoes geldt de wettelijke garantie van twee jaar. De garantieperiode begint vanaf de datum
van aankoop. Gebruikssporen, oneigenlijk gebruik, verkeerd gebruik en schade die door een ongeval,
manipulatie of een reparatiepoging door niet-geautoriseerde personen is ontstaan, zijn van de garantie
uitgesloten.
7 | Afvoer
Verpakking afvoeren
Voer de verpakking af met soortgelijk afval. Voer karton en doos als oud papier af, folie kan
als kunststof worden ingezameld.
De zadelhoes afvoeren
(Toepasselijk in de Europese Unie en andere Europese landen met systemen voor gescheiden
inzameling van afvalstoffen)
Als de zadelhoes moet worden afgevoerd, gooi deze dan bij het huisvuil of voer deze af via een
inzamelpunt voor herbruikbare afvalstoffen.

coprisella sul proprio veicolo, prestando particolare attenzione alle istruzioni per la sicurezza. La
mancata osservanza delle presenti istruzioni per l'uso può comportare gravi lesioni personali o danni
al veicolo. Si raccomanda di conservarle con cura per un eventuale uso futuro. Qualora il coprisella

3 | Sicurezza
3.1 | Uso conforme
Se utilizzato correttamente, questo coprisella protegge la sella da un invecchiamento precoce e quindi
da una perdita di valore causata dallo sporco presente sulla strada, dalla pioggia, dai raggi UV ecc.
Per garantirne l'efficacia è assolutamente necessario seguire le seguenti avvertenze per l'utilizzo e la
sicurezza.
Trattandosi di un prodotto a impiego universale non destinato a un veicolo specifico, è importante
assicurarsi prima del primo utilizzo che il prodotto possa essere usato senza problemi e in modo
corretto sul proprio tipo di veicolo. Osservare assolutamente le indicazioni contenute nelle istruzioni
per l'uso del proprio veicolo e le specifiche del costruttore del veicolo.

di rischio medio che, se non evitato, può avere come

3.2 | Istruzioni per la sicurezza
Pericolo di incidente!
• Questo coprisella non è una fodera per sella (come probabilmente saprà chi
possiede un auto). Non è adatto per l'uso durante la guida, in quanto non
garantisce al conducente una seduta salda sulla sella. Si prega di rimuovere la
copertura prima di sedersi sulla sella.
Pericolo per bambini e persone con ridotte capacità fisiche, sensoriali o mentali
(ad es. persone parzialmente disabili, anziani con limitate capacità fisiche e
mentali) o prive di esperienza e conoscenze nell'uso delle moto (ad es. bambini
più grandi).
• Tenere questo coprisella fuori dalla portata dei bambini. Non utilizzarlo mai
come tenda o per finalità simili (pericolo di soffocamento).
• Tenere la pellicola di imballaggio compresa nella fornitura fuori dalla portata dei
bambini. Pericolo di soffocamento!
Pericolo di danni!
• Dal momento che il materiale della copertura non è traspirante, il coprisella non
deve essere mai messo su parti bagnate del veicolo. L'umidità intrappolata può
provocare fenomeni di corrosione su alcuni componenti del veicolo a due ruote.
Evitare il più possibile un'esposizione diretta alla luce solare; parcheggiare il
veicolo a due ruote con la sella coperta all'ombra. Ciò impedisce la formazione
di condensa sotto il coprisella.
• Non coprire con il coprisella una sella sporca. Quando il coprisella viene
infilato sulla sella o svolazza a causa del vento, sabbia e sporco presenti tra la
copertura e la sella o parti del mezzo, esercitando un'azione abrasiva, possono
graffiare il veicolo a due ruote. Quando lo si infila prestare attenzione ai bordi e
agli spigoli vivi del veicolo.
• Non utilizzare la copertura su parti del veicolo appena verniciate o trattate con
un sigillante o un'altra sostanza chimica. Molti solventi impiegati continuano a
evaporare fino a 6 mesi dopo l'applicazione. Se intrappolati da una copertura,
questi gas possono danneggiare il coprisella e il veicolo a due ruote. Fare
attenzione a questo fenomeno specialmente nel caso di veicoli nuovi.
• Se il veicolo a due ruote, prima di mettere il coprisella (ad es. per il rimessaggio
invernale o a scopo di protezione), è stato trattato con uno spray protettivo
contro la corrosione, possono svilupparsi delle reazioni chimiche con la
copertura e sia quest'ultima che il veicolo a due ruote possono danneggiarsi.
4 | Uso
Il coprisella deve essere tirato in modo che copra l'intera superficie della sella. L'elastico deve essere
fatto passare attorno ai bordi in modo che il coprisella non possa essere portato via dal vento. A tal
fine occorre innanzitutto accertarsi che la forma della sella consenta l'utilizzo del coprisella.
5 | Stoccaggio e cura
Il coprisella deve essere lavato esclusivamente con acqua pulita e tiepida. Non utilizzare
assolutamente detersivi o altri prodotti per la pulizia. Lasciare asciugare il coprisella su un filo
stendibiancheria all'aperto o in spazi appositi.
6 | Garanzia
Il coprisella è coperto dalla garanzia di legge di due anni. La garanzia decorre dalla data di acquisto.
La garanzia non copre segni di usura, uso improprio, uso non conforme e danni derivanti da incidente,
manipolazione o tentativi di riparazione da parte di persone non autorizzate.
7 | Smaltimento
Smaltimento dell'imballaggio
Smaltire l'imballaggio dividendo i materiali. Mettere il cartone nella raccolta della carta, le
pellicole in quella del materiale riciclabile..
Smaltimento del coprisella

Estas instrucciones de uso se refieren exclusivamente a la funda de asiento Louis. Contienen
indicaciones importantes sobre la seguridad y el manejo. Antes de utilizar la funda de asiento en su
vehículo, lea atentamente las instrucciones de uso, especialmente las indicaciones de seguridad. La
inobservancia de las presentes instrucciones de uso puede dar lugar a lesiones graves o deterioros
en su vehículo. Conserve las instrucciones de uso para su posterior utilización. Si entrega a terceros
la funda de asiento, adjunte siempre las presentes instrucciones de uso.
Las instrucciones de uso se basan en las normas y reglas vigentes aplicables en la Unión Europea.
En el extranjero, observe asimismo las directivas y leyes específicas del país correspondiente.
2.2 | Signos empleados
En las presentes instrucciones de uso, en la funda de asiento y en el embalaje se emplean los

3 | Seguridad
3.1 | Uso previsto
La presente funda de asiento –correctamente empleada– protege su asiento del envejecimiento
prematuro y, por tanto, de la pérdida de valor por suciedad de la carretera, lluvia, rayos UV, etc. Para
ello es absolutamente necesario que observe las siguientes indicaciones de uso y seguridad.
Dado que este producto es de uso universal, no asignado a un vehículo específico, es importante
que se asegure antes del primer uso de que este producto se puede utilizar adecuadamente en
su modelo de vehículo. Observe en todo momento las indicaciones que figuren en el manual de
instrucciones de su vehículo y las especificaciones del fabricante del vehículo.
Este símbolo/aviso advierte de un peligro con un nivel de riesgo
medio que, de no ser evitado, puede provocar la muerte o
lesiones graves.

3.2 | Indicaciones de seguridad
Peligro de accidente
• Esta funda de asiento no es una cubierta protectora para su asiento (como
las que tal vez conozca de su turismo). No es adecuada para su uso durante
la conducción, ya que no garantiza una sujeción segura del conductor sobre el
asiento. Por esa razón, retire la funda antes de sentarse sobre el asiento.
Peligros para niños y personas con facultades físicas, sensoriales o mentales
disminuidas (por ejemplo, personas parcialmente discapacitadas, ancianos
con facultades físicas y mentales reducidas) o con falta de experiencia y
conocimiento en el manejo de motocicletas (por ejemplo, niños mayores).
• Mantenga la funda de asiento fuera del alcance de los niños. No la utilice nunca
como tienda de campaña o similar (peligro de asfixia).
• Mantenga alejada de los niños la lámina de embalaje que forma parte del
volumen de suministro, ya que existe peligro de asfixia.
Peligro de deterioro
• El material de la funda no es transpirable, por lo que no deberá colocarla nunca
sobre piezas húmedas de la motocicleta. La humedad retenida puede provocar
corrosión en piezas de la motocicleta. Evite en la medida de lo posible la luz
solar directa; estacione a la sombra su motocicleta cubierta con la funda. De
esa forma se evita la formación de agua de condensación bajo la funda de
asiento.
• No coloque nunca la funda de asiento sobre un asiento sucio. Al colocar la
funda de asiento o al ondear esta por efecto del viento, la arena y suciedad
presentes entre la funda y el asiento o piezas de la motocicleta pueden
ocasionar arañazos en esta por efecto de abrasión. Tenga cuidado con los
cantos vivos y las esquinas del vehículo al colocar la funda sobre el asiento.
• No utilice la funda si ha pintado, sellado o tratado químicamente de otro
modo piezas del vehículo recientemente. Muchos de los disolventes utilizados
continúan evaporándose hasta 6 meses después de su aplicación. Estos gases
pueden deteriorar la funda y la motocicleta cuando permanecen confinados.
Tenga esto en cuenta especialmente con los vehículos nuevos.
• Si antes de utilizar la funda de asiento (p. ej., para pasar el invierno o conservar
la moto) se ha aplicado un aerosol protector contra la corrosión sobre el
vehículo, pueden producirse reacciones químicas con la funda y resultar
deterioradas tanto la funda de asiento como la motocicleta.
4 | Aplicación
La funda de asiento se coloca sobre el asiento del vehículo de tal forma que cubra toda su superficie.
Tienda la cinta elástica alrededor de los bordes de manera que el viento no pueda llevarse la funda
de asiento. Para ello, compruebe en primer lugar si la forma del asiento de su vehículo permite la
utilización de la funda de asiento.
5 | Almacenamiento y conservación
Utilice exclusivamente agua clara tibia para lavar la funda de asiento. Absténgase de utilizar agentes
de limpieza u otros detergentes. Tienda la funda de asiento para su secado en un tendedero al aire
libre o situado dentro de un local previsto al efecto.
6 | Garantía
Su funda de asiento tiene una garantía legal de dos años. El periodo de garantía comienza a contar a
partir de la fecha de compra. La garantía no cubre marcas de desgaste, mal uso, uso no conforme con
el uso previsto ni daños resultantes de un accidente, una manipulación o un intento de reparación a
cargo de personas no autorizadas.
7 | Eliminación
Desechar el embalaje
Deseche el embalaje separando los materiales. Elimine el papel y el cartón en el contenedor
de reciclaje para papel; las láminas de plástico, en el contenedor correspondiente.
Desechar la funda de asiento
(Aplicable en la Unión Europea y otros estados europeos con sistemas para la recogida selectiva de
materiales reciclables)
Si va a desechar la funda de asiento, deséchela con la basura doméstica o entréguela en un punto de

транспортного средства. Сохраните инструкцию по эксплуатации для дальнейшего использования
в надежном месте. При передаче чехла для сиденья третьему лицу следует обязательно приложить
к нему данную инструкцию по эксплуатации.
Инструкция по эксплуатации составлена с учетом стандартов и правил, действующих
в Европейском Союзе. При эксплуатации изделия соблюдайте также действующие
внутригосударственные директивы и законы.

3 | Безопасность
3.1 | Использование по назначению

сиденье от преждевременного старения, воздействия уличной грязи, дождя, ультрафиолетового
излучения и т.п. При его использовании необходимо соблюдать следующие указания по
эксплуатации и технике безопасности.

3.2 | Указания по технике безопасности
Опасность ДТП!
• Этот чехол для сиденья не является декоративным чехлом (наподобие тех
чехлов, которые используются в автомобилях). Он не предназначен для
использования во время движения, так как не обеспечивает надежную
посадку водителя на сиденье. Поэтому, прежде чем сесть на сиденье, снимите
чехол.
Опасность для детей и лиц с ограниченными психическими, сенсорными
или умственными способностями (например, лиц с частичной
инвалидностью, пожилых людей с ограниченными психическими или
умственными способностями) или для лиц, не обладающих достаточными

Опасность повреждения!
• Поскольку материал чехла является воздухонепроницаемым, чехол ни в

избегайте воздействия прямых солнечных лучей – ставьте двухколесное
транспортное средство с надетым на него чехлом в тени. Это позволит

• Никогда не надевайте чехол для сиденья на грязное сиденье. В результате

6 | Гарантийные обязательства
На чехол для сиденья предоставляется предусмотренная законодательством гарантия,
действующая в течение двух лет. Срок действия гарантии начинается с момента продажи изделия.
Гарантия не распространяется на изделия со следами износа, эксплуатировавшиеся не по
назначению, с повреждениями, произошедшими в результате несчастного случая, выполнения
несанкционированных манипуляций, или подвергшиеся попытке ремонта не уполномоченными
лицами.
7 | Утилизация
Утилизация упаковки
Правильно сортируйте отходы упаковки: бумагу и картон – в контейнер для сбора
макулатуры; пленку – в контейнер для сбора вторресурсов.
Утилизация чехла для сиденья
(Применимо для Европейского Союза и других европейских стран, где действуют системы
раздельного сбора вторресурсов)
Если требуется утилизация чехла для сиденья, выбросьте его вместе с бытовым мусором или сдайте
