Diese Anleitung bezieht sich ausschließlich auf die genannte PTFE-Gleitfolie. Sie enthält wichtige
Hinweise zu Anbau, Sicherheit und Gewährleistung. Lesen Sie die Anleitung, insbesondere die Sicher-
heitshinweise, sorgfältig durch, bevor Sie die PTFE-Gleitfolie anbringen. Die Nichtbeachtung dieser
Gebrauchsanleitung kann zu Schäden am Fahrzeug bzw. zu Personenschäden durch Unfall führen.
Die Bedienungsanleitung basiert auf den in der Europäischen Union gültigen Normen und Regeln
und spiegelt den aktuellen Stand der Technik wider. Beachten Sie im Ausland auch landesspezi-
sche Richtlinien und Gesetze. Bewahren Sie die Anleitung für die weitere Nutzung auf. Wenn Sie die
PTFE-Gleitfolie an Dritte weitergeben, geben Sie unbedingt diese Gebrauchsanleitung mit.

3 | Sicherheit
3.1 | Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Die vorliegende PTFE-Gleitfolie wird zwischen Lenkrohr und Gasdrehhülse angebracht und erhöht
so die Gleitfähigkeit des Gasdrehgriffes dauerhaft. Es muss an dieser Stelle kein Schmierstoff mehr
verwendet werden, Nachfetten entfällt. Sie kann für metrische (Ø22 mm), zöllige (Ø25,4 mm) sowie
konizierte (Ø28,6 mm) Lenker verwendet werden.
3.2 | Sicherheitshinweise
WARNUNG!
Unfallgefahr!
• Nach Anbringen der PTFE-Gleitfolie muss der Gasgriff wieder mit Sachkenntnis
am Fahrzeug angebracht werden.
• Der Gasgriff muss sich frei drehen lassen und beim Loslassen selbsttätig in
seine Grundstellung zurückschnellen.
• Überprüfen Sie vor jeder Fahrt, ob Ihr Gasgriff freigängig ist.
WARNUNG!
Gefahren für Kinder und Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen
oder mentalen Fähigkeiten (beispielsweise teilweise Behinderte, ältere Per-
sonen mit Einschränkung ihrer physischen und mentalen Fähigkeiten) oder
Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen (beispielsweise ältere Kinder)!
• Halten Sie die PTFE-Gleitfolie und die Verpackung von Kindern unter acht
Jahren fern. Bei Verschlucken besteht Erstickungsgefahr!

• Achten Sie bei Montagearbeiten auf einen sicheren Stand des Fahrzeugs
und einen gut beleuchteten Arbeitsplatz, sodass Verletzungen während der
Demontage/ Montage des Gasgriffs vermieden werden.
• Montieren Sie die PTFE-Gleitfolie/ den Gasgriff nur selbst, wenn Sie über die
notwendigen Fachkenntnisse verfügen. Wenden Sie sich andernfalls bitte
unbedingt an eine Fachwerkstatt.
Dieses Symbol gibt Ihnen nützliche Zusatzinformationen zum
Zusammenbau oder zum Betrieb.

4 | Montage
4.1 | Vorbereitung
Bevor Sie mit der Montage der PTFE-Gleitfolie beginnen, suchen Sie sich einen geeigneten Platz für
ungestörtes, sauberes Arbeiten. Legen Sie sich Ihr Werkzeug und die benötigten Umbauteile zurecht,
bocken Sie das Motorrad sicher auf und decken Sie den Tank des Bikes gut mit einem Tuch ab, um
den Lack zu schützen.
4.2 | Demontage
Lösen Sie zuerst das rechte Lenkerende des
originalen Lenkers. Hierzu wird in jedem Fall ein
ausreichender Hebelarm benötigt – oft ist die
Verschraubung sehr „festgebacken“. Kreuz-
schlitzschrauben löst man am besten mit einem
Schlagschrauber, ist ein solcher nicht zur Hand,
können ein paar trockene Schläge mit dem Ham-
mer auf einen exakt zur Schraube passenden
Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher und konzentrierte
Kraftanwendung helfen, die Schraube zu lösen.
Dann schrauben Sie die rechte Schalterarmatur am Lenker auf. Trennen Sie die Hälften der Armatur,
sodass der Gasgriff frei liegt. Nehmen Sie die Gaszüge aus der Aufnahme am Gasgriff und ziehen
Sie den Gasgriff vom Lenker.
WARNUNG!
Beschädigungsgefahr!
Seien Sie bei der Demontage des Gasgriffes sehr vorsichtig, denn die
Drehgriffhülse unter dem Gummi ist zumeist aus dünnem Kunststoff gefertigt
und kann leicht beschädigt werden.
4.3 | Montage
Reinigen Sie das Lenkrohr auf der Gasgriffseite
mit einem Tuch. Legen Sie die PTFE-Gleitfolie um
den Lenker. Schneiden Sie bei Bedarf überschüs-
sige Folie mit einer Schere gerade und sauber
ab, verrunden Sie die Ecken wie im Bild gezeigt.
Schieben Sie den Gasgriff über die Folie auf
den Lenker. Probieren Sie nun, ob der Gasgriff
leicht auf der Folie gleitet. Hemmt die Folie den
Gasgriff, liegt sie ggf. nicht glatt oder das Stück
Folie ist zu groß. Korrigieren Sie, bis der Gasgriff
sich wirklich leicht über der Folie auf dem Lenker
drehen lässt.
Führen Sie den Gasgriff mit der Bowdenzugaufnahme nun wieder in die Schalterarmatur ein und
montieren Sie die Gaszüge an der Aufnahme. Kontrollieren Sie dabei den Zustand der Gaszüge –
zerfaserte Züge mit gebrochenen Drähten müssen unbedingt ersetzt werden. Geben Sie ggf. etwas
frischen Schmierstoff auf die Gaszüge. Testen Sie die Funktion des Gasgriffs noch einmal, bevor
Sie die Schalterarmatur wieder um den Gasgriff verschließen, ohne dabei den Gasgriff in irgendeiner
Weise einzuklemmen.

HINWEIS!
Beschädigungsgefahr!
Schmieren oder fetten Sie die Folie auf keinen Fall mit fett- oder ölhaltigen
Schmierstoffen, da die Folie sich ansonsten ausdehnen könnte.
Abschließend bringen Sie die Lenkerenden am Lenker an. Prüfen Sie nochmals vor Fahrtantritt, ob
der Gasgriff einwandfrei funktioniert und selbsttätig in seine Grundstellung zurückschnellt. Andern-
falls müssen ggf. die Armatur und/ oder das Lenkerende etwas verschoben bzw. die Gaszüge neu
montiert werden.
5 | Lagerung
Lagern Sie die noch nicht verbaute PTFE-Gleitfolie in einem vor Witterung und Frost geschützten,
geschlossenen, dunklem Raum in der originalen Verpackung.
6 | Gewährleistung
Für das vorliegende Produkt gilt die gesetzliche Gewährleistung von zwei Jahren. Der Gewährleis-
tungszeitraum beginnt ab dem Kaufdatum. Gebrauchsspuren, Zweckentfremdung, nicht bestim-
mungsgemäßer Gebrauch und Schäden, die aus einem Unfall, einer Manipulation oder einem
Reparaturversuch durch unautorisierte Kundendienste oder Personen resultieren, sind von der
Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen.

2.1 | Reading and keeping the instructions for use
These instructions apply exclusively to the specied PTFE friction-reducing foil. They contain
important information on installation, safety and the warranty. Read the instructions carefully, in
particular the safety instructions, before attaching the PTFE friction-reducing foil. Failure to adhere
to these instructions for use can lead to damage to the vehicle and personal injuries as a result of
accidents.
The operating instructions are based on the standards and regulations applicable in the European
Union and reect the current state of technology. If abroad, also observe country-specic guidelines
and laws. Keep these instructions for future reference. If you pass the PTFE friction-reducing foil on
to a third party, it is imperative that you also pass on these instructions for use.

3 | Safety
3.1 | Intended use
This PTFE friction-reducing foil is attached between the handlebar tube and the throttle twistgrip,
and thus reduces the friction on the throttle twistgrip. No lubricant is required in this position.
The reapplication of grease is no longer necessary. It can be used for metric (Ø 22mm), imperial
(Ø25.4mm) and double-butted (Ø 28.6mm) handlebars.
3.2 | Safety instructions
WARNING!
Risk of accident!
• After attaching the PTFE friction-reducing foil, the throttle twistgrip must be
properly attached to the vehicle again.
• The throttle twistgrip must turn freely and snap back into the initial position
when released.
• Before each journey, check whether you throttle twistgrip moves freely.
WARNING!
Danger for children and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
abilities (e.g. partially disabled persons, elderly persons with reduced physical
and mental abilities) or lack of experience and knowledge (e.g. older children)!
• Keep the PTFE friction-reducing foil and the packaging out of the reach of
children under eightyearsold. There is a risk of suffocation if swallowed!
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
• To avoid injury when removing/installing the throttle twistgrip, make sure that
your vehicle cannot topple over and that the workstation is well lit.
• Only install the PTFE friction-reducing foil/throttle twistgrip yourself if you have
the necessary technical knowledge. Otherwise, the job must be carried out by a
motorcycle workshop.
This symbol gives you useful additional information about assembly or
usage.
This symbol indicates that the packaging and product can be recycled.

4 | Installation
4.1 | Preparation
Before starting with the installation of the PTFE friction-reducing foil, nd a suitable place where
you can work undisturbed and tidily. Set out your tools and the parts you need, place the motorcycle
safely on the stand and fully cover the bike tank with a cloth to protect the paintwork.
4.2 | Removal
First unfasten the right-hand end of the original
handlebar. For this you will denitely need
sucient leverage, as the screw connection is
often stuck tight. It is best to unscrew cross-head
screws with an impact driver. If you do not have
one, a couple of sharp taps with a hammer on a
cross-head screwdriver that ts the screw exactly
and then applying a constant force should help to
loosen the screw.
Then screw the right-hand switch assembly to the handlebars. Separate the halves of the assembly
so that the throttle twistgrip is exposed. Remove the throttle cables from the mount on the throttle
twistgrip, and remove the throttle twistgrip from the handlebars.
WARNING!
Risk of damage!
Be particularly careful when removing the throttle twistgrip because the throttle
tube under the grip is usually made of thin plastic and can easily become
damaged.
4.3 | Installation
Clean the handlebar tube on the side of the
throttle twistgrip with a cloth. Place the PTFE
friction-reducing foil around the handlebars. If
necessary, cut off any excess foil neatly and
in straight lines with a scissors. Round off the
corners as shown in the illustration. Push the
throttle twistgrip over the foil on the handlebars.
Now test whether the throttle twistgrip glides
smoothly on the foil. If the foil impedes the
throttle twistgrip, it might not be at or the piece
of foil might be too large. Adjust until the throttle
twistgrip can be twisted really smoothly over the
foil on the handlebars.
Then insert the throttle twistgrip back into the switch assembly with the Bowden cable mount, and
install the throttle cables on the mount. In the process, check the condition of the throttle cables– it
is imperative that any frayed cables with broken wires are replaced. If necessary, apply a little fresh
lubricant to the throttle cables. Test the function of the throttle twistgrip once more before you close
the switch assembly around the throttle twistgrip again, making sure that you do not trap the throttle
twistgrip in any way in the process.

IMPORTANT!
Risk of damage!
Do not under any circumstances lubricate or grease the foil with lubricants
which contain grease or oil, as the foil could otherwise expand.
Then t the bar ends to the handlebars. Before starting the journey, check again whether the throttle
twistgrip is fully functional and snaps back into its initial position. Otherwise the assembly and/or
the bar end will need to be shifted a little or the throttle cables will need to be re-tted.
5 | Storage
Before the PTFE friction-reducing foil is installed, store it in the original packaging in a closed, dark
room where it is protected from the elements and frost.
6 | Warranty
This product comes with the statutory two-year warranty. The warranty period begins on the date
of purchase. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, use for anything other than the
intended purpose, or damage caused by an accident, tampering or attempted repairs by
unauthorised persons or customer service departments.
7 | Disposal
Dispose of packaging material and the product itself in accordance with the regulations
of the regional authorities.

3| Sécurité
3.1| Utilisation conforme
Le présent lm lisse en PTFE se monte entre le tube de guidon et le manchon d'accélérateur et sert à
améliorer durablement la capacité de glissement de la poignée d'accélérateur. Il n'est plus nécessaire
d'utiliser ici de lubriant, le graissage est superu. Le lm peut s'utiliser sur des guidons métriques
(Ø22mm), en pouces (Ø25,4mm) et coniques (Ø28,6mm).
3.2| Consignes de sécurité
AVERTISSEMENT!
Risque d'accident!
• Après la pose du lm lisse en PTFE, vous devez disposer des compétences
requises pour remonter la poignée d'accélérateur sur le véhicule.
• La poignée d'accélérateur doit pouvoir tourner librement et revenir
automatiquement dans sa position initiale lorsqu'elle est relâchée.
• Assurez-vous avant chaque trajet que votre poignée d'accélérateur peut être
actionnée de manière uide.

Ce produit représente un danger pour les enfants et les personnes dont les
capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales sont réduites (parex. personnes

veuillez impérativement contacter un garage spécialisé.

4| Montage
4.1 | Préparation
Avant de commencer la pose du lm lisse en PTFE, cherchez un endroit approprié pour travailler
proprement sans être dérangé. Préparez vos outils et les composants nécessaires, levez votre moto
de manière sûre et recouvrez bien le réservoir à l'aide d'un chiffon pour protéger la peinture.
4.2 | Démontage
Commencez par détacher l'embout de droite du
guidon d'origine. Dans tous les cas, vous aurez
besoin d'un bras de levier susant, car les vis
sont souvent fermement «bloquées». Desserrez
les vis cruciformes avec un tournevis à frapper;
si vous n'en disposez pas, vous pouvez donner
quelques coups secs à l'aide du maillet sur un
tournevis cruciforme parfaitement adapté à la vis
en appliquant une force concentrée.
Vissez ensuite le boîtier de l'interrupteur de droite sur le guidon. Détachez les deuxmoitiés du boîtier,
de manière à ce que la poignée d'accélérateur soit dégagée. Retirez les câbles d'accélérateur de leur
logement au niveau de la poignée d'accélérateur, puis retirez cette dernière du guidon.
AVERTISSEMENT!
Risque de dommage!
Lors du démontage de la poignée d'accélérateur, faites preuve d'une très grande
prudence car le manchon de la poignée tournante sous le caoutchouc est
généralement fabriqué en plastique de faible épaisseur qui peut facilement être
endommagé.
4.3 | Montage
Nettoyez le tube de guidon du côté de la poignée
d'accélérateur à l'aide d'un chiffon. Placez le
lm lisse en PTFE autour du guidon. Au besoin,
coupez l'excédent de lm à l'aide de ciseaux.
Assurez-vous que la découpe est droite et nette,
et arrondissez les angles comme indiqué sur la
photo. Poussez la poignée d'accélérateur sur le
guidon, par-dessus le lm. Vériez ensuite si la
poignée d'accélérateur glisse facilement sur le
lm. Si le lm gêne le glissement de la poignée
d'accélérateur, il est alors possible qu'il ne soit
pas bien à plat ou que le morceau de lm soit
trop grand. Corrigez le problème, jusqu'à ce
que la poignée d'accélérateur tourne réellement
facilement sur le lm installé sur le guidon.
Puis insérez de nouveau la poignée d'accélérateur avec le logement du câble Bowden dans le
boîtier de l'interrupteur, et montez les câbles d'accélérateur dans le logement. Pendant cette étape,
contrôlez l'état des câbles d'accélérateur; les câbles elochés présentant des ls métalliques
rompus doivent impérativement être remplacés. Le cas échéant, appliquez un peu de lubriant frais
sur les câbles d'accélérateur. Testez encore unefois le fonctionnement de la poignée d'accélérateur

avant de refermer le boîtier de l'interrupteur autour de cette dernière, sans la coincer de quelque
manière que ce soit.
REMARQUE!
Risque de dommage!
Ne lubriez ou graissez le lm en aucun cas avec du lubriant à base de graisse
ou d'huile, car le lm risquerait de se dilater.
Montez ensuite les embouts de guidon sur le guidon. Avant de prendre la route, assurez-vous encore
unefois que la poignée d'accélérateur fonctionne parfaitement et qu'elle revient automatiquement
dans sa position initiale. Dans le cas contraire, il peut être nécessaire de décaler légèrement le boîtier
et/ou l'embout de guidon ou de recommencer le montage des câbles d'accélérateur.
5| Stockage
Stockez le lm lisse en PTFE pas encore monté dans l'emballage d'origine dans une pièce fermée et
sombre à l'abri des intempéries et du gel.
6| Garantie légale
Le présent produit est couvert par la garantie légale de deuxans. La période de garantie commence
à compter de la date d'achat. Tout signe d'usure, toute utilisation non conforme ou à des ns autres
que celles prévues, tout dommage dû à un accident, à une manipulation ou à une tentative de
réparation par un service client ou par une personne non autorisés sont exclus de la garantie.

Éliminez le matériel d'emballage, ainsi que le produit conformément aux dispositions
ocielles régionales.

2.1 | Gebruiksaanwijzing lezen en bewaren
Deze gebruiksaanwijzing heeft uitsluitend betrekking op de genoemde PTFE-glijfolie. U vindt hierin
belangrijke informatie over de montage, veiligheid en garantie. Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing, vooral de
veiligheidsaanwijzingen, zorgvuldig door voordat u de PTFE-glijfolie aanbrengt. Bij veronachtzaming
van deze gebruiksaanwijzing kan schade aan het voertuig of persoonlijk letsel door een ongeval het
gevolg zijn.
De gebruiksaanwijzing is gebaseerd op de normen en regels die gelden in de Europese Unie en is
een afspiegeling van de huidige stand van de techniek. Houd in het buitenland ook goed rekening
met specieke nationale richtlijnen en wetten. Bewaar de gebruiksaanwijzing voor verder gebruik.
Wanneer u de PTFE-glijfolie aan derden doorgeeft, geef deze gebruiksaanwijzing dan altijd mee.

Dit symbool/signaalwoord duidt op een gevaar met een
gemiddelde risicograad dat, indien dit niet wordt vermeden, de

3 | Veiligheid
3.1 | Beoogd gebruik
Deze PTFE-glijfolie wordt aangebracht tussen de stuurstang en de gasdraaibus en verhoogt zo
duurzaam het geleidingsvermogen van de gasdraaigreep. Op deze plek hoeft niet langer een
smeermiddel te worden gebruikt, bijvetten hoeft niet meer. Deze folie kan voor metrieke (Ø22mm),
inch- (Ø25,4mm) en conische (Ø28,6mm) sturen worden gebruikt.
3.2 | Veiligheidsaanwijzingen
WAARSCHUWING!
Gevaar voor ongevallen!
• Nadat de PTFE-glijfolie is aangebracht, moet het gashandvat weer deskundig
aan het voertuig worden bevestigd.
• Het gashandvat moet vrij kunnen draaien en bij het loslaten vanzelf naar de
basispositie kunnen terugkeren.
• Controleer voor elke rit of uw gashandvat vrij kan bewegen.
WAARSCHUWING!
Gevaren voor kinderen en personen met verminderde lichamelijke, zintuiglijke
of geestelijke vermogens (bijvoorbeeld gedeeltelijk gehandicapten, oudere
personen met lichamelijke en geestelijke beperkingen) of gebrek aan ervaring
en kennis (bijvoorbeeld oudere kinderen)!
• Houd de PTFE-glijfolie en de verpakking buiten bereik van kinderen die jonger
zijn dan achtjaar. Bij inslikken bestaat gevaar voor verstikking!
PAS OP!
Letselrisico!
• Let er bij montagewerkzaamheden op dat het voertuig stevig en stabiel
is neergezet en dat de werkplek goed verlicht is, zodat letsel tijdens de
demontage/montage van het gashandvat wordt vermeden.
• Monteer de PTFE-glijfolie/het gashandvat alleen zelf als u over de
noodzakelijke vakkennis beschikt. Anders dient u zich hoe dan ook tot een
professionele werkplaats te wenden.
Dit symbool geeft u nuttige aanvullende informatie bij de montage
of het gebruik.
