Read this manual before using your new helmet!
Safety Information
Correct adjustment and use of this helmet is critical to safety. Parents
should explain the information in this manual to their children or anyone
who is not able to understand.
WARNING
A helmet must be correctly worn and maintained to provide protection.
Carefully read and follow these instructions. Incorrect use or maintenance of
your helmet could lead to serious injury or death.
No helmet can protect the wearer against all possible impacts. A severe
impact, sharp object, improper use, or incorrect adjustment could cause
conditions beyond the protection of the helmet.
To be effective, a helmet must fit and be worn correctly. To check for correct
fit, place helmet on head and make any adjustment as indicated. Securely
fasten retention system. Grasp the helmet and try to rotate it to the front and
rear. A correctly fitted helmet should be comfortable and should not move
forward to obscure vision or rearward to expose the forehead. If you cannot
correctly adjust the helmet, consult your dealer.
Helmets will be damaged if exposed to temperatures exceeding 65° Celsius
(150°F). Dark vehicles and storage bags can exceed this on very hot days.
Heat damaged helmets will have random disfigured areas where the texture
appears bubbly and uneven. If damaged, helmets should be destroyed and
replaced immediately.
RIDE SAFELY
CHECK THE ADJUSTMENT FOR EVERY RIDE
AVOID HIGH HEAT
The helmet may be damaged and rendered ineffective by petroleum and
petroleum products, cleaning agents, paints, adhesives and the like, without
the damage being visible to the user.
AVOID CHEMICALS
This helmet is designed to absorb shock by partial destruction of the shell and
liner. Even though such damage may not be visible, the helmet should be
destroyed or replaced, if it is involved in an injury related fail. The helmet has
a limited lifespan in use and should be replaced when it shows obvious signs
of wear. Helmet parts lose strength over time, so even if the helmet has not
been impacted or damaged, replace it after three years.
REPLACE AN OLD HELMET OR HELMET WITH DAMAGE

WARNING
The Bicycle Safety Helmet is designed and intended exclusively for use while
cycling. It is not intended for and will not provide adequate safe protection if
used during motor sport or moped use. No helmet can protect the wearer
against all unforeseeable impacts. However, for maximum protection, the
helmet must fit well and all retention straps must be securely fastened.
A cap, scarf, or even some high-volume hairstyles might allow the helmet to
move during impact. Barettes, headphones or anything else under your
helmet can injure you if the helmet is impacted.
No attachments should be made to the helmet except those recommend by
the helmet manufacturer. This includes stickers or adhesive labels.
HELMETS VARY IN DESIGN AND PROTECTION
REDUCTION OF PROTECTION
This helmet should not be used by children while climbing or doing other
activities where there is a risk of hanging or strangulation if the child gets
trapped whilst wearing the helmet.
DO NOT MODIFY THE HELMET
Clean the headgear with mild soap and water only. The use of any solvents,
paints or cleaning solutions can cause damage to the helmet and make it
ineffective in the result of an accident.
AVOID CHOKING
Sticks, stones, or insects can pass through the holes to the interior of the
helmet.
KEEP YOUR HELMET CLEAN

Adjusting the helmet
The bike helmets are available in different shell sizes to fit
different head sizes. To see if you have the correct size, put the
helmet on your head in the correct position, but do not fasten the
buckle yet (FIGURE 1).

FIGJRE 2
CORRECT INCORRECT
Adjust The Temple Strap
After you place the helmet on
your head, slide the strap
adjuster on the temple strap
until the strap adjuster sits just
beneath your left earlobe. Lock
the strap adjuster to secure the
fit.

FIGJRE 3
Adjust The Nape Strap
When the helmet is off, pull the
nape strap (FIGURE 2)
through the back of the helmet
to adjust the position of strap
adjuster, put the helmet
correctly positioned on the
head, the strap adjuster should
be just below the earlobe
(FIGURE 3). Both the temple
strap and the nape strap
should be taut. Re-adjust the
temple strap if necessary.
FIGJRE 4
Adjust Nape& Temple Strap on Both Sides
Repeat the above 2 steps to
adjust the temple and nape
strap for the other side until the
left and right nape and temple
straps are of the same length(
FIGURE 4). Check the helmet
adjustment. Re-adjust if
necessary.

This Bicycle Safety Helmet uses a quick release buckle that is
simple and can be buckled and unbuckled without changing the
adjustment. The straps must be snugly and evenly tensed. Place
the helmet firmly on your head and fasten the buckle. Notice
which strap is loose. Tighten the loose strap after removing the
helmet. To tighten the chin strap, hold the buckle with one
hand. Then pull the excess strap through (FIGURE 6).

FIGJRE 6
FIGJRE 5
Adjust Chinstrap
The helmet is designed to be
retained by a strap under the
lower jaw. The two straps
hanging from the right strap
adjuster that go under the
lower jaw are collectively
called the chinstrap. Make sure
the chinstrap is correctly
threaded through the right
buckle (FIGURE 5). You can
adjust the length of the
chinstrap by sliding it through
the buckle.

Pull lightly on the chinstrap, press on both of the recessed tabs
of the buckle (FIGURE 7).
Remove the helmet
Shake your head side-to-side. The helmet should not move on
your head. Attempt to push the helmet forward and backward on
your head. If the helmet moves back, tighten the temple straps.
If the helmet moves forward, tighten the nape straps. If the
helmet cannot be adjusted correctly, you may need a smaller
shell size. If this is the case, consult your dealer.
Test The Adjustment
If you choose to cut the chinstrap, leave at least 1 inch (25mm)
above the buckle. A chinstrap that is too short may lead to the
helmet losing its adjustment and protection. After cutting, melt
the end of the chinstrap to prevent fraying. Be careful with high
heat near the helmet. The strap is flammable. Until it cools,
avoid contact with the melted nylon because it can burn.
Cutting Excess Chinstrap
The outer shell allows the helmet to be rated on of the lightest
helmets while providing excellent durability and integrity. The
multiple vents with inner air channels draw the air through the
helmet and over the brow for maximum cooling.

FIGJRE 8
The Size Adjustment System
(FIGURE 8) provides an
additional method to hold the
helmet firmly on your head.
This is a great feature for more
aggressive riding where the
helmet might be vigorously
bounced or shaken.
FIGJRE 9
Put the helmet on your head
but do not connect the straps.
Place the Size Adjustment
System strap so that it is below
the occipital lobe, the bony
protrusion base of your skull. If
the Size Adjustment System is
too loose, rotate the adjusting
wheel clockwise (FIGURE 9).
Size Adjustment System
FIGJRE 10
If the Size Adjustment System
is too tight, rotate the
adjustment wheel
couner-clockwise (FIGURE
10).
Buckle the chinstrap and test the adjustments. If your favorite
helmet position is at the end of the available adjustment, the
Size Adjustment System can be moved to provide further
adjustment.

FIGJRE 11
With the helmet off, identify the anchor and yoke of the Size
Adjustment System harness (FIGURE 11).
To change the height, gently pull or push together the anchor
and the yoke.
Position Size Adjustment Systemm
FIGJRE 12
To remove the visor, gently pull each snap from the socket in the
helmet shell (FIGURE 12).
Caution: the sockets in the helmet can enlarge through overuse,
which can cause the visor to be loose or come off
unintentionally.
