INSTALLATIE-INSTRUCTIE: Luminext Outdoor Lamp Controller OLC300S
De Luminext OLC300S is een onderdeel van het Luminext programma voor dynamisch dimbare
verlichting met beheer op afstand. De OLC300S is geschikt voor DALI en 1 - 10V toepassingen en
heeft een digitale ingang voor de aansluiting van externe potentiaalvrije contacten. De OLC300S kan
met de bijbehorende antenne in het armatuur geplaatst worden. De OLC300S controller vormt een
draadloos sensor/control netwerk.
Veiligheid
•Installatie en onderhoud moet worden uitgevoerd door een gekwalificeerde medewerker.
•Volg deze installatie-instructies strikt op om gevaar en schade aan de OLC300S te voorkomen.
•Onderbreek de voedingsspanning voor installatie, inspectie of verwijderen van de OLC300S.
Spanning voerende delen (primaire en secundaire zijde) van de OLC300S zijn niet aanraakveilig.
•Gebruik de OLC300S niet als deze is beschadigd.
•Zet nooit spanning op de OLC300S zonder dat de bijbehorende antenne (Luminext artikel #
40.20.300) op de juiste wijze is aangesloten.
•De elektrische installatie moet voldoen aan nationale normen & regelgeving.
•De installatie waarop de OLC300S wordt aangesloten moet voorzien zijn van een mogelijkheid om
de spanning te onderbreken.
•De netspanning aansluiting van de OLC300S dient te zijn voorzien van een 2A smeltzekering.
•De OLC300S dient in een IP65 geclassificeerde ruimte geplaatst te worden.
Toepassing
Lees de OLC300S productsheet (zie luminext.eu) voor de maximum specificaties van het relais en de
gebruiksomstandigheden.

Installatie
1. Maak het armatuur spanningsvrij en lees de veiligheidsinstructies.
2. Controleer of het armatuur en/of behuizing geschikt is voor montage van OLC300S: let specifiek
op of het armatuur tenminste IP65 is en of de driver geschikt is.
3. Controleer de OLC: verzeker u ervan dat de OLC300S onbeschadigd is.
4. Sluit direct de bijbehorende antenne aan (leverbaar als artikel # 40.20.300). Zet nooit spanning op
de OLC300S zonder dat een geschikte antenne is aangesloten.
5. Draai de SMA antenne aansluiting aan met een steeksleutel zodat deze niet los trilt.
6. Op de OLC300S is een extra sticker met barcode geplaatst. Verwijder de barcode van de OLC en
plaats deze duidelijk zichtbaar op de buitenkant van het armatuur. De aannemer zal tijdens de
plaatsing deze barcode gegevens verwerken.
7. Er is nog een derde sticker met barcode aanwezig. Deze dient op 50 cm van de onderkant van het
snoer bevestigd te worden.
8. Bevestig de OLC300S stevig op een geschikte plaats in het armatuur, bijvoorbeeld met 2x M4
schroef/bout (140mm steekmaat). Plaats de olc niet tegen de driver aan. Bij twijfel neem contact
op met Luminext.
9. De OLC300S kan in vier configuraties worden aangesloten: DALI driver, 1-10V driver, 230V
belasting en/of extern contact. Zie de aansluitschema’s verderop in deze instructie. Gebruik
1-10V of DALI niet beide. Sluit niet meer dan één DALI driver aan op de OLC300S.
10. Gebruik 1.0 mm2draad voor alle aansluitingen. Druk de draden volledig in het aansluitblok.
Gebruik ader eind-hulsjes bij gebruik van flexibel draad.
11. Plak de antenne vast met behulp van de 3M dubbelzijdige tape aan de zijkant van de OLC. Zorg
ervoor dat de antenne zoveel mogelijk vrijheid heeft in het armatuur en niet tegen of onder een
voedingkabel ligt of tegen de behuizing aan zit. Plaats de antenne niet helemaal op de olc. (zie
foto).
12. Sluit een voedingskabel aan op de OLC300S volgens aansluitschema (zie pagina 3 en 4).
13. Sluit het armatuur. Controleer hierbij of er geen kabels of objecten tussen pakkingen terecht
komen (in verband met vocht).
14. Sluit het armatuur aan op 230V AC en test de correcte werking van het armatuur en de OLC300S.
In geval van incorrecte werking, controleer de bedrading
oBij aansluiting op netspanning zal de lamp gaan branden. Het kan tot maximaal 20
seconden duren voordat de lamp brand.
oTest met behulp van een test-gateway of een test unit of de aansturing van de OLC
correct werkt.

Aansluitschema’s
OLC300S + DALI driver:
Sluit de voedingsaansluiting van een Dali driver aan op de geschakelde 230V uitgang van de
OLC300S.
OLC300S + 1 - 10V driver:
Sluit de voedingsaansluiting van een 1-10V driver aan op de geschakelde 230V maximaal 200W
uitgang van de OLC300S.
OLC300S + 230V belasting (max 200W):
Sluit een 230V belasting aan op de geschakelde 230V uitgang van de OLC300S.

OLC300S + extern contact:
Sluit een potentiaalvrij contact aan op de digitale ingang van de OLC300S. Dit kan gecombineerd
worden met één van de drie voorgaande configuraties.
Configuratie
Wanneer de spanning op de OLC300S wordt ingeschakeld, moet de aangesloten verlichting aan
gaan. Dit kan tot 20 seconden duren. Gebruik Luminizer voor configuratie van de OLC300S.
Gebruik
De OLC300S zal de aangesloten verlichting besturen.
Conformiteit
Dit product voldoet aan de Europese richtlijnen en relevante standaarden voor laagspanning, EMC,
RED, REACH, en RoHS. De OLC300S is voorzien van een radio. De gebruikte radiofrequentie ligt in
de frequentieband van 869.400 –869.650 MHz en het maximum zendvermogen is +20 dBm.
Hierbij, verklaart Luminext dat de radio van het type OLC300S voldoet aan richtlijn 2014/53/EU. De
volledige tekst van de EU conformiteitsverklaring is beschikbaar op luminext.eu.
Reparatie
Open dit product niet. In het geval van een defect moet de OLC300S worden vervangen.
Hergebruik
Gooi dit product niet weg bij het huisvuil, maar breng het naar een inzamelpunt voor hergebruik.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION: Luminext Outdoor Lamp Controller OLC300S
The Luminext OLC300S is a product in the Luminext program for dynamic dimmable street lighting
with remote management. The OLC300S is suitable for DALI and 1-10V applications and is provided
with a digital input for connection of external contacts. The OLC300S can be mounted inside a
luminiare together with the appropriate antenna. The OLC300S controllers automatically forms a
wireless-sensor-and-control network that is self-organizing and self-synchronizing.
Safety
•Installation and maintenance should be performed by qualified personnel only.
•Adhere strictly to this installation instruction to avoid danger and damage to the OLC300S.
•Disconnect power at the source before installation, inspection or removal. The voltages at the
primary and secondary side of the OLC300S are not touch proof.
•Do not use the OLC300S if it is damaged.
•Never power the OLC300S without the associated antenna (Luminext article 40.20.300) properly
connected.
•The electrical installation must be in conformance with the national legislation and relevant
standards.
•The mains connection of the OLC300S must be provided with a 2A fuse and a possibility to
disconnect the mains.
•The OLC300S must be mounted in an IP65 classified housing.

Refer to the OLC300S product sheet (see luminext.eu) for the maximum ratings of the relay and the
environmental conditions.

Installation
1. Disconnect the power to the luminaire and read the safety instructions above
2. Check if the luminaire and/or housing is suitable for mounting the OlC300S: pay special attention
to if the luminiare is IP65 and if the driver is suitable
3. Check the OLC: make sure the OLC300S is not damaged
4. Directly connect the suitable antenna (Luminext article 40.20.300). Never power the OLC300S
without an appropriate antenna connected
5. Fix the SMA antenna connector with a wrench so this won’t turn loose due to vibrations.
6. An extra barcode sticker is attached to the OLC300S. Remove the barcode sticker and stick it
clearly visible to the outside of the luminaire. The installer will register this barcode information
during the installation process.
7. There is a third sticker with barcode present. This should be attached at 50 cm from the bottom of
the power cable
8. Mount the OLC300S sturdily to the luminaire, e.g. with 2x M4 screw/bolt (140mm distance). Do not
place the OLC300S against the driver. If in doubt please contact Luminext.
9. De OLC300S can be wired in four configurations: DALI driver, 1-10V driver, 230V load and/or
external contact. See wiring diagrams below. Use either 1-10V or DALI, not both. Do not connect
more than one DALI driver to an OLC300S
10. Use 1.0 mm2wiring for all connections. Push the wires completely into the terminal block. Use
wire end sleeves when using flexible wires
11. Mount the antenna with the 3M double sides adhesive tape to the OLC. Make sure that the
antenna has as much room as possible in the luminaire and is not placed against or underneath a
power supply cable or against the housing. Do not place the antenna completely on the OLC
(check picture below).
12. Connect a 230V AC power cable to the OLC according to the wiring schedule below.
13. Close the luminaire. Take care that no wires of objects get in between the seals.
14. Connect the power cable to 230 V AC power and test the correct functioning of the luminiare and
OLC300S. In case of malfunctioning check the wiring.
oWhen connected to power the lamp will start burning. This might take up to 20 seconds.
oCheck with a test gateway or test unit to ensure that the controller works correctly.

Wiring diagrams
OLC300S + DALI driver:
Connect the power input of a DALI driver to the switched 230V output of the OLC300S.
OLC300S + 1-10V driver:
Connect the power input of a 1..10V driver to the switched 230V output of the OLC300S.
OLC300S + 230V load:
Connect the 230V load to the switched 230V output of the OLC300S.

OLC300S + external contact:
Connect a voltage free contact to the digital input of the OLC300S. This can be combined with one of
the previous three configurations.
Configuration
When the OLC300S is powered, the connected lamp should be on. Use Luminizer for configuration of
the OLC300S.
Usage
The OLC300S will control the connected driver and lamp.
Compliance
This product complies with the European directives and relevant standards for low voltage, EMC,
RED, REACH and RoHS. The OLC300S contains a radio. The applied radio frequency is within the
band 869.400 –869.650 MHz and the maximum transmit power is +20 dBm.
Hereby, Luminext declares that the radio equipment type OLC300S is compliant with Directive
2014/53/EU. The full text of the EU declaration of conformity is available at luminext.eu.
Repair
Do not open this product. In case of failure the OLC300S must be replaced.
Recycling
Do not dispose this product as household waste. Bring it to an appropriate collection point for
recycling.
