ASSEMBLY
These assembly instructions show you the step-by-
step assembly in complete detail, along with all required
measurements, a clear parts list and exact drawings. It also
suggests an optimal foundation and a safe post installation
by means of an auxiliary construction, which enables
dimensionally accurate alignment. Use only approved H-post
anchors (not included) suitable for posts with dimensions of
120x120 mm and lay foundations professionally with concrete
C25/30. Please adhere exactly to these instructions and the
other specifications in the static calculation, as well as all
industrial safety regulations and basic technical rules. Use
all dimensions exactly according to the design for successful
installation!
...AND A FEW TIPS:
There are many technically correct ways to successfully
execute the foundation work. Firstly, you could position
and base the H-anchors in advance without the finished
post construction (as suggested by us) by means of precise
levelling and calibration. Tighten the bolts regularly. Basic
craftsmanship skills are required.
SOLID WOOD: QUALITY
Your carport is made of dimensionally stable glued spruce
wood with a durable and solid finish. All wood parts are
optimally technically dried. You may notice a certain amount
of cracking upon delivery. The cracking is not critical to the
stability and durability of the carport.
... AND SOME IMPORTANT POINTS:
The components of your carport are glued and manufactured
from several plank laminations. This makes it particularly stable
and resistant. They are mainly used in timber engineering, i.e.
for static loads. The glue-laminated bonds prevent tension in
the wood. This minimizes twisting in the wood.
RELIABLE WOOD PRESERVATION
For environmental reasons, the carports have been pre-treated
twice with a biocide-free Osmo color wood preservative
glaze. However, you should conduct post-treatment with
the matching Osmo color or some other suitable wood
preservative glaze or paint after assembly (ask for more
information from your local paintshop). Pay close attention to
the paint manufacturer‘s application instructions.
.. GOOD TO KNOW!
Only sufficient and professionally applied wood protection
serves as reliable and durable protection against discoloring
and wood-destroying organisms. Coatings are therefore
useful, but due to the natural coloring of the wood a strongly
pigmented glaze is necessary to cover the natural wood
color and its structure. We recommend to test the paint on a
‚discreet‘ section - not every ‚color‘ is suitable for your carport
and brings the desired results.
ROOF PANELS
Safety first - do not stand on roof panels
- Risk of falling through!
The roof panels are to be laid and fixed to the roof
construction exclusively with the aid of ladders and securely
fixed scaffolding planks, from which work can be carried out
safely. An assistant should always be present for security.
...PROPER STORAGE AND SPECIAL FEATURES
Store the steel sheets in a dry place on even surface until ins-
tallation to prevent damages, stain and discoloration. Carefully
handle the plates. Always lay the panel surface flush with the
roof beam, except for the „rear side“ - leave a gap of 2-3 cm
open to allow water to drain off at this point. Carefully observe
overlaps. Additional sealing tapes or sealants help to keep the
overlaps permanently watertight.
OUR GUARANTEE
As producer we give this product a warranty for a period of
2 years from delivery of the purchased item. The customer
has to check the content of the package prior to installation.
Damaged or otherwise defective parts must not be installed
and can only be subject to complaint prior to installation. If
there is some something to complain about, the customer shall
immediately contact the place of purchase and make a written
claim via the re-seller. If the customer begins tor continues
the assembly, they have accepted the parts. Producer or re-
seller is not responsible to pay any direct or indirect costs or
damages due to a defected or missing part. Producer‘s liability
limits only to the delivery of new parts to the re-seller.
The warranty is void if:
- Assembly instructions are not followed by customer
- Customer has assembled a defect or wrong part that
could have been changed before assembly, or customer has
assembled a part in a wrong way
- Changes have been made to the parts by customer, or parts
have been damaged by customer
- The package has not been stored properly after delivery to
customer
- The assembled product has not been properly taken care
of by painting or other preservative product after installation
- The foundation is not made properly, or according to our
instructions.
The warranty is valid if:
- A part has a manufacturing defect.
– A part is not fit for its intended use.
– A part does not meet the information given prior to purchase.
– A part lasts for a shorter time than can be assumed.

short or excess in delivery, please
proceed as described on the back
