Remove the plates (hex 2.5 mm) on the side
with the recesses. They are for placing the ribs
Attach the guides between, on top of or under the
existing structure. The recess is the side where the
awning is folded up. It should be on the top side.
(Except for bottom mounting or if the awning cannot
be placed in it from the top.)
Make sure there is still ± 3 mm free between the
start of the guide and the wall/beam, so the plates
can be put back later.

Adjust the fabric by taking the rst rib out of
the guide and winding it up until you have the
desired result.

The Solem is now ready for use!
For top mounting, use the cover caps provided to
cover the holes; this prevents dirt from getting into
the guides.
Now put the ribs in the recess of the guides 1 by
1. Make sure the ribs are at the top. (If possible,
put the ribs in from the front.)
Attach the eye for operation in the middle of the rib.
(Hex key 4 mm)
Now slide the Solem out fully and check that the ribs
do not stick.
Attach the guides between the beams. Carefully check
the dimensions between the beams. If necessary, use
ller plates between the guide and the beam.
The ribs are thicker than the guides. In some situa-
tions, lling will be required. For bottom mounting, use
the cover caps provided to cover the holes.
