CONFIGURING ETHERNET TO WORK WITH LX-212S
Thereare twopossible waysto connect:
1.-ConnectingthroughanETHERNETSWITCH/HUB::
-You will needanormalCAT5 Cable.
2.- Connectingthrough a Wirless ETHERNET.
Let usnowproceed to configure theEthernet network, setting the IP address of the computer as static.
To do this go to:
START > CONFIGURATION> NETWORK CONFIGURATION
Wewill launch the propertiesof "LocalArea
Connection"byclickingtherightmousebut-
tonandclicking onproperties.

Select "Internet Protocol (TCP / IP)" and click on
properties.
Select: “Use next IP Address” And write as you
wish, in order to configure your network.
Normally, Ip values will besomethinglike this:
IPAddress:192.168.1.xxx
Subnet Mask:255.255.255.0
Where xxx will be a number between 1and 254
Accept to quit the network settings and again to
apply them at the next screen. Depending on the
Windows Version, you will be asked to reboot or
not.
Once the Computer is configured with a static IP
proceedto connect to the linearray system through
theOCS (online control system) software.
Open theOCS Softwareandfrom theInitial Screen
chooseEthernetdeviceintotheconfigurationmenu.
It will open a different screen, asfollows, there you cansee yourNetwork configuration, and thecabinets currently

In order to change the IP settingsto have the same configurationas the PC, we can change the IP addressof the
cabinetsby clickingintheAssignIP toselectDevicebuttonafter writingin thebox abovethedesireddata. Remember
there cannot be two deviceswith exactly the same IP address, the last set of three numbershas tobedifferent and
unique toeachoneof thedevices.

RAINBOW – ACOUSTICAL PREDICTION SOFTWARE
Thanks to the RAINBOW software, you will be able to “virtually” determine the acoustical response of oneor
variouscabinetsat the same time.
Based onpolar responsemeasurements, taken
meticulously witha360ºcoverage both vertically
andhorizontally, the Rainbowsoftware isable to
calculate the SPLresponseincludingthe
interaction between them takinginto account the
magnitudeand phase response, inorderto enable
the user to correct cancellationsand even to
createthem if the acoustical design so requires.
Rainbow isvery easy to use and offersa very
intuitivedesign,multitoolinterfaceandon-line
updatabledatabase.
TheRainbowsoftwarehasbeendesignedbyand
for sound technicians. Itsaim is to help installers
andusers of Lynx proaudioproducts.
This software isable to import WMF Vector Files
with technical drawingsand insert them directly
intothepredictionwindowandthusenablingreal
measurement predictions.
Thisalso helpsto determinedeadzonesand
obtain the maximum performance from each of the
cabinets installed.
