2. Operationsystem
1) Engineswitch
0RUN" indicates the engine
in "Run!> position, "OFF' indicates the engine in uOFF' position,
"START" indicates
the engine in "starting" position.

~ The baUeiy ls working for lhe carburetor valve at "RUN" channel. So please
~ make sure the switch Is at the "OFP' channel when !he unit Is turn off.
2) Fuel valve
The fuel valve is used to control the fuei fiow frorn the tank to the carburetor. After stopping
the engine, the fuel valve should tum to "Off' position.

5) Grounding tenninal
The grounding tenninal is a special tenninal which is used to connect the generator to the
ground properly.

Engine protecting systen1
The engin~ protecting syste1n is designed to protect engine fron1 dan1nge because of Jack of
oil in the crank caSe. \Vhen the engine oil in crank case is lower th~n the safe level line, the
engine protecting system will
\Vork to stop the engine automatically (even the engine switch is

2) Generator grounding
To prevent the eleciric shock from the poor-qhaHty appliances or from incorrect use of .applia1ices, it is
necessary to oonnect lhe generator to the ground with an inst1lutcd wire.
3) Altemating current
Before starting the gencralor, it must confi1m:

Keep firmly in mind that if the generator set connects with several loads or appliances, it is

In general, the capacitive load or indnclive load \viU need great stariing current, \Vhen it

4. Check before operation
I) Engine oil
(Note I At each tin1e of using the generator, check the oil level in the condition of placing
the generntor nt a Jcvel gronnd

and the enginestaying in stop. The engine oil is un
hnporh1nf factor for lhe
output power and ser\lice life of the engine. If the conhuninrded oil
or 2-strokeon fs used, it wiU hnrnt the engine.
Recommended engine oil:
Bngine oil for 4-stroke engine:
API classification: SE~ SF -Or equivalent to SC
SAll IOW-30.
Checking method of engine oil level:

Environment temperature
Pull out the oil ruler and clean it Plug in the ruler thoroughly and take it out again to check
the oil levei.
lf the oil Jevel is lo\ver than the low lhnit, rc1nove the filter cup (the cup on the hend fncing
to the ruler) and fill the recommended oil till it goes up lo the top lhnit.
After filling Oil, keep ftrntly in tuind to reinslaU then1ler and tighten the cap.

5. Start engine
PO\\'ered start
1) Rem.ove aU loads on !be tenninals,
2) Open the fuel valve.
3) Tum offthe AC circuit breaker.
4) Pull the choke bu1ton to "close" position,
'V11en the engine ls in 1\'arnling condition, do not close the choke.
5) Tum the start swilch to "start" position.
6) After starting the engine, relcuse the "start"switch irnmcdiuteiy, the switch will return
back to "n1n" position.
7) After warming up the engine, push the choke button to ''open" position.

•Do not let lhe switch stay in "start'i position over 5 seco11ds~ or the starter uu1y be
dan1aged. If the engine can not he started at first thne, start the engine agaln at nn
intervnl of over 10 seconds.

6. Slopping engine
1) Tum off lhe AC circuit breaker.
2) Turn off the engine s\vitch.
3) Close the fuel valve.

7. Maintenance schedule
Good m1tlntenance and service gives an assurance that the generator runs in safety and
economy nnd without any failures, in the meanwhile it is in favor ofenvironment protection.

J) Place a container under the engine for containing used oil. Then, remove the oil ruler and
loosen the draining screw
and washer,.
2) After drainage of used oil, reinstall the draining screw and washer and tighten then1. In view
of environmental protection, please take a proper way to dispose the waste oil. It is
recomn1ended to send tbe waste oil to the local service station or recycle center. Never throw
\vaste oil barrel
to refuse tip, dun1p the waste oil on ground Or in ditches.
3) Place the engine in level positi':ln, refill recommefided oil to the top line.
The filling capacity of the engine:
Not replace the
fine oil filter: l.3L
Replace
the fine oil filter: I.SL
4) Reinst111l the oil niler and tighten filler cap.

If the skin touches the engine oil frequently in long tern1, it nlay result in

skin cancer. Although it is not inevitnhlc, we reconunend to clean your
hands \Vith soap woter thoroughly.
2) l'vlnintain air cleaner
If the air cleaner is dirty, it affects air inlet, the power of engine reduced. If the running place
is dusty, n1aintenance nu1st be done more frequently limn that shown in nmintenance scbedule.

4) Spark plug
II is reco1nmended to use spark plug, F7TC or equivalent one.
I) Rc1nove the spark plug cap
2) Clean dust around the spark plug.
3) Unscrew the spark plug with a special socket wrench.
4) Check
spm-k plug. If the electrode has dmnagcd, or isolator has broken, replace the spark
plug.
111e clearance of the spark plug electrode should be 0.70-0.80nun. Alljust the side
electrode, if necessary.
5) Screw the spark plug with hand carcfully
to avoid llanrnging the thread on the heal.I.
6) \Vhen the spark plug is in position, tighten the spark plug with the special socket wrench anll
depress the washer.
If install the usell spark plug, after depressing the washer, rctighten it 1/8-1/4 turn.
7) Reinstall the spark plug cap.
~ Please use the spark plug with a proper heat rating.
