Thesespecificvaluesareemissionlevelvalues,soisnotnecessarilythe
safetyworkinglevel.Becauseemissionisrelatedtotheemissionlevel,

maynotbenecessarilyloweredthoroughly.Thefactorsinworkplace that
affectnoiseemissionalsoincludethedurationofbeing inthenoisy

environmentofwoodworkingpanelsawbelongstotheonewithlowdust.
1.5Operatingasperspecifiedrequirements
MJ6132TSeriespanelsawhasanoperatingguidedevice thatisspecialfor
thecasesasfollows:
Longitudinalcuttingandcross cuttingarerunningwithatleaseone
horizontalbearingsurface,maxthickness ofverticalcutting85mm(it
isonlyfitfortheequipmentwithoutscoringsaw,verticalcutting
thickness ofequipmentwithscoringsawis80mm).
Itcanalsocutsolidwood,densityfireboard, shavingboard, cardboard,
plasticboard,organicglass plateandgypsumboard, etc.
Forothermaterialstobecut,suchasnon-ferrousmetalorsynthetic
materialmadeofplastics,therelevantmaterialsandsawbladeused
mustbeapprovedbythemanufacturer.
OurmanufacturerfurnishestheFREUD circularsawblademadeinItaly,
withmindiameterof250mm,maxdiameterof315mmandscoringsaw
blade120mm.

&highspeedsteelsawblade(sawbladeHSS)andwide-mouthed
circularsaworwobblesaw.
Likewise,theequipmentisnotsuitabletobeinstalledintheopenor
workshopwithexplosivedanger,theoperationcompliedwithdesign
requirementsalsoincludefittingtheequipmentwithproperly-sized
suction&wastedischargesystem,complyingwiththeoperating
procedurespecifiedbythemanufacturer,aswellasabiding bythe
safetyregulationscoveredbytheOperationManualasforthe
maintenanceandrepairrequirements.
TZSeriespanelsawcanonlybeoperated,installedandmaintainedby
thepersonnelbeing familiarwiththeequipmentcharacteristicsand
understanding thedanger.Theresponsibilitiesforoperationand
maintenancemustbepinpointed.Themachinemustberepairedbyour
customerservice dept.
Abidebyrelevantregulationsonaccidentpreventionandgenerally-
recognizedsafetyregulations,aswell asindustrialhealth-protection
stipulation.
Ouroriginalsparepartistheonlyreplacementpartforthismachine;
themanufacturerwillnotguarantee anydamageasaresultof
non-originalpartandwillnotberesponsibleforanydamageasaresult
oftheuser’sownimprovementtotheequipmentwithoutauthorization.
Thepanelsawshallbeoperatedinthefollowingoperatingpositionwith
specifiedmethod:
Ontheleftofmoving tableinfrontofequipmentviewedfromfeed
direction(positionofmainoperator).
Whenthelongitudinalcuttingcheckplateisused,itisontherightof
thesliding tableonthecross cuttingendofequipment
Anypersontoremovetheworkpiece muststandontherightcross
cuttingendofequipmentandafterextensiontableandshallnotstand
inthepassing area ofmoving tableatanytime.

2.1Explanationofsymbolandwarning
Operationsafetysymbol
ThissymbolisoftenseeninallmaterialsaboutsafetyofthisOperation
Manual.Thereisthedangerofinjuryandtolifeatanytimeintheplace
wherethissymbolis.Thematerialsaboutoperationsafetyshall bepassed
tootheroperators.BesidestheregulationsonsafetyinthisOperation
Manual,othercommonstipulationsonsafetyandaccidentpreventionalso
shall beabidedby.
Thiswarning symbolappearsintheplacewherespecialattentionshallbe
paidtointhisOperationManualsoastoensurethatthecorrectoperating
procedurestipulatedintheManualcouldbecompliedwithandpreventing
dangerordamagetothemachine.
2.2Safetyprecautions
Allequipmenttools,especiallythewoodworkingmachineryfedmanually,
allwillcauseacertaindangerifnotoperatedproperly,therefore,itis
requiredtocomplywiththesafetyprecautionsand otherindustrialsafety
stipulationsandrequirementssummarizedinthischapterforever.
Regulationsonaccidentprevention:
Beforeoperation,ensurethesafetyandoperatingfacilitiesareinstalled
properlywithoutanydamage.
Beforereplacing sawblade,removing troubleandrepairing,ensurethe
powersupplyhasbeenswitchedoffanditisnecessarytolockthemain
powersupplywithlockforpreventingaccident.
Itisonlyallowedtousethesawbladeandgrooving sawbladesupplied
bythemanufacturer.
Wearclose-fittingworkclothes,anddonotwearring,braceletorwrist
watch.
Theworkplace shallbeclean, skidproofandhasgoodillumination.
Donotcutoverlargeortoosmallworkpiecethatexceedsthe
equipmentcharacteristics.
Standoutofthebounce area ofsawbladesideandworkpiece when
operatinganddonotstandinmiddleofsawblade.
Removetheloosemattersaroundsawbladebeforestartingthe
machine.
Cuttingshallnotbestarteduntilthesawbladeup tofullspeed.
Usesafetycoverforever!
Exceptcross-cuttinglongandthinwoodintopieces,theriving knife
shall beusedforeverandtheriving knifeshallnotbethickerthanthe
cutwidthandthinnerthanthemainsawblade.
Whencross-cuttinglongandthinwoodintopiecescutting,usethe
anti-bounce device,suchasfixitinthesliding tablegroovewithstriker
plateagainstmoving.Aftercross-cuttinglongand thinwoodintopieces,

remounttheriving knifeandsafetycoverimmediately.
Whennarrowwoodiscutlongitudinally, theplanershallbeused.
Forthepurposeofavoiding thecutwoodfrombeingbroughtupward
andbouncedoutbytheuprising toothring,anoffsettingwedgemaybe
usedforinstance.
Donotcutroundlogwithsawusing standardfeedauxiliarydeviceor
checkplate.
Fixtheworkpieceonthesliding tablewithstrikerplatewhen
trimming.
Whenusing feeddevice,itatleaseneedstousethelongitudinalknife
astheanti-bouncedevice.
Wornandtornsliding tablestripshallbereplacedpromptly.
Donotusewobblesaworcuttingdevice.
Wearhearingprotectionwhenoperatingbecausethenoiseinwork
place ismorethan85dB(A).
Thesawdustproducedincuttingmayaffectthesightlineandbealso
harmfultohealth,sothetwodustcollectoropeningsofsawshallbe
connectedwiththesuctionsystem.Whenthesuctionforce isnot
enough,nooperationshall bedone,andpropermeasuresmustbetaken
toensurewhentheequipmentisstarted,thesuctionsystemalsois
started.
Onlyqualifiedelectriciancanoperatetheelectricalequipmentofthe
machine.
Cleantheequipmentperiodically,especiallythesawbench,sliding
tableandcheckplate,whichisanimportantsafetyfactory,andbefore
operationstart,itmustbeensuredthattheequipmentcannotbestarted
withoutcause.
2.3Safetymeasures
Ourpanelsawisdevelopedandmanufacturedaccordingtothenational
standardandEuropeanCEStandard “WoodworkingMachinerySafety,
CircularSawPartI,CircularSawMachinewithandwithoutSliding
Table”,inthestageofdesign,wepaidgreatattentiontocreatingideal
operatingconditions,coveringsafetyofvariousmachineryandelectrical
equipmenttoisolatingnoiseandloweringdustemission.
Themachineisequippedwithnecessaryprotectivedevicesoastoavoid
theriskswithrespecttodesignthataredifficulttoremoveinoperation,
including:
Theparallelsafetycoverontopisbothavailableat45 and90 soas to
covertheupperpartofsawbladesoundlyandpreventanydangerin
cutting.
Therearetworiving kniveswithdiameterbetween250mm and315mm
soastoavoidtheworkpiece frombouncing backwhencuttingis
jammed.
Thelongitudinalcuttingcheckplatehasanadjustablecheckplatethat
canbedrawnbacksoastolongworkpiece frombeing blocked

betweenthecheckplateanduprising toothring,ormaybereplaced
withalowguidecheckplatesothattherecouldbeappropriatespace to
lowertheuppersafetycovertotheworkpiece positionwhencutting
narrowandflatworkpiece.
Interlockthedoorsonmachinebodyelectricallysoastoreplace belt,
whenthedooropen,donotstartthemachine,whenthemachine
operating, switchoff themotorassoonas theplateguardopens.
Nomatterhowmanyisthesawbladediameterandspeed,once the
machineisswitchedoff,theautomaticbrakewillstopthesawblade
within10 seconds(equipmentofelectromagneticbrakewithCE
standard).
Withrespecttooptimizing environment,themachinehasreasonable
layout,themachinecanbeoperatedeasilyonbothsideofsliding table,
theoperatingpanelcanbeadjustedtothepositionofsightline,andall
emergency-stopbuttonsontheoperationpanelcanswitchoff all
motorspromptlyandsafely.
2.3.1Mountingsafetycoveronrivingknife
Forthepurposeofkeepingthesawbladeonthesawbench,we
recommendedseparatedadjustableprotectivedevice.

Onlyinspecialcases,thesafetycovermaybescrewedoff withspecial
care.Suchaslarge-size workpiece.Afterwards,screwthesafetycover
backtotheoriginalpositionandlockitforcibly.
Screwthesafetycoveraccordingtothefollowing procedure:
Cutoff powersupplyandensurenottoswitchonitagain.
Loosenthelockingbar,thenscrewoff thesafetycover.
PositionofsafetycoverinnormaloperationRemovingsafetycover
Attention: Screwthesafetycoverbacktotheoriginalpositionaftercompletionand
fixitreliably.
2.3.1.4Cross-directionsettingbetweensafetycoverandsawblade
Thesafetyholderisfixedontheextensionarmsoastomakethemax
distance betweenouteredgeofsafetycoverandcenteredgeofsawarbor
be15mm.Thisdistance hasbeensetinthefactoryandmarkedwithred
arrowontheupperpartofextensionarm.

2.3.3Settingofriving knife
Withrespecttosafety,theaccuratesettingofriving knifeplaysavery
importantrole.Thedistance betweenriving knifeandtoothedringincut
heightareashallbemorethan8mm,andthedistance inmostcommonuse
isabout5mm andthatofthelowerpartis3mm.
Whensettingriving knife,thepowersupplymustbecutoff,forsetting
rivingknife,movetheupperbrackettoterminalpositionofunlocking
device,foldtheorangecheckplatedownwards,subsequently,loosenthe
setscrewsontheholderofriving knifewithspecialspanner,thenmoveit
inthefixedgroovetoadjustitsheight,removethewholeriving knife
holderalongthetracktoadjustthedistance betweenriving knifeandsaw
blade,andobservethescaleontheriving knifeatthesametime,then
tightenup thesetscrewsandshuttotheguard.
2.3.3Extensionoftable
Theworktableattachedtothetablemaypreventworkpiece frominclining
backwardincuttingandimprovethesafety.Theattachedworktableisa
necessarypartofastandardmachine.
2.3.4Strikerplate
Thestrikerplateisusefortrimming ofthicknessandtofixtheworkpiece
onthesliding table.

Whentheslidingtablegoforwardorall goback,touchthesawblade
belowsliding table.
Woodorpartialpartofwoodbounce.
Thehardalloyweldedsawbladeteetharethrownoff.
Breakageandsawbladeisthrownout.
Crushedmatters onthemanualormotor-drivenslidingtable.
Crushedmattersbetweentheslantmovementofmotor-drivensaw
bladeandriving knifecheckplateorworkpiece.
Whentheelectricalpartarea isdisconnected, thecasewithpoweronis
met.
Hearingisdamagedinlongtimeoperationasaresultofnotwearing

adjustedwithinching control.Thesetsize maybereadfromthescaleplate
andmaybedisplayedbythedisplayunit,ifany.Screwoff thescrews
accordingtothesawbladethickness andthesize ofscaleplatemaybeset,
whenthecutwidthislessthan120mm,itmayfeedwithplanerandsetthe
checkplatelevel.Thelongitudinal-cuttingcheckplatemaybeadjustedin
cuttingdirectionandsection.Fixitwiththecamleveratupperpartonthe
requiredposition.
Whencuttingshortwood,usetheplaneofcheckplateuntil thespace for
woodbecomesverylarge,moveinthecheckplateonthesawbladeuntil
nottouchthesafetycover,especiallywhenthesawbladeinclines,such
attentionshallbefurtherpaid.

sawcuttingaslongasbeing installedproperly.

Putfivefingerstogetherandonthewoodwithenoughsafetydistance
awayfromthesawblade.Forthepurposeofguaranteeing safety
operation, pleaserefertothedescriptionofspecificprocedureasfollows:

Procedure:Mounttheholding padonthemovingtable,makethehollow
surface ofwooddownblowandpress ontheunderneathofincludedangle
andholddownthewoodwithhandtopushitforward.Thereshallbe

longitudinal-cuttingknife. Whencuttingshortwood, usetheplaner.
Procedure:mountthelongitudinal-cuttingaluminumguiding ruleonthe
lowguideface,putthewoodonthemoving table,andpress ittotheside
oflongitudinal-cuttingguiding rulewithhand.Pushthemoving tableand
pushthewoodstripcutoutbeyondthesawbladewithplaner.

Procedure:whenundercutting,selectpropercuttingsequencesothatthe
woodblockscutoutcanbeleftattheothersideofsawbladeandcheck
plate,lowerthesafetycovertothewoodandmaketheoperationguiding
accurate.Prop andpress workpiece againstthesideofguiding rulewith
lefthand.
Procedure:closetheopeningontablewithtablestripmatching withthe
slot,setthesawbladeatthedepthofslotandfence therearpartwith
longitudinal-cuttingknife.Whenpushing thewoodforward,press the
workpiece onthetable, otherwise,itmayjumpinward, resultingindanger.

Procedure:mounttheoffsettingwedgesothatthemattercutoutcannot
touchtheupward-rotatingsawblade.Itcanonlyusethecross-cutting
checkplatetofeedwood.Itcannotusehandtoremovethemattercutout
aroundthesawblade.
