Ver. 3
Required for assembly:
Wood glue (PVA recommended)
Please note:
It is recommended that you apply varnish or sealer to the automata, especially if you live in areas
with high humidity. Polyurethane varnish is a good choice.
Before you start assembly it is a good idea to study the pictures in these instruction so you know
how it goes together.
This kit contains small parts and is not suitable for small children

Base assembly
The base and the back upright slot together and can be glued together to make it stronger.

Crankshaft assembly
Assemble the parts as shown in the pictures below.

Slide the connecting rod on but dont glue it so it can turn on the crankshaft

Base assembly
Slide the crankshaft into the hole in the back upright as shown below
Next attach the front upright into the base.

Slide the connecting rod through the top support and slot it onto the top of the supports.

Next assemble the crank handle.
Then slide the handle onto the crankshaft and push the round spacer towards the upright, but not
too tight so the handle still turns freely.
