Leggere con attenzione queste istruzioni al ne di utilizzare correttamente la
doccia nasale. Inoltre Vi consigliamo di conservare con cura questo manuale
per eventuali ulteriori consultazioni.
Cos’è?
NASAL WASH è una doccia nasale specicatamente progettata, per eettuare l’igiene quotidiana delle
cavità nasali di adulti e bambini, sia con soluzioni saline, sia con acqua termale. La doccia nasale, può
essere trasportata ed utilizzata senza collegamenti a prese di corrente.
Come funziona?
NASAL WASH è predisposta per il lavaggio delle cavità nasali, raccogliendo la soluzione che ricade
in un’ apposita camera di recupero presente nella doccia nasale. Può essere utilizzata con soluzioni
saline ed acque termali. Il corpo compressore doccia ergonomico costituisce una comoda impugnatura
fornita di pulsante per attivare l’utilizzo senza fatica ed è altresì dotato di valvola di aspirazione che
permette l’ingresso dell’aria e limita la rumorosità. Il corpo superiore è destinato ad alloggiare due
camere adiacenti, di cui una destinata alla soluzione da utilizzare e l’altra alla soluzione di recupero.
Sul corpo superiore si inseriscono gli adattatori nasali disponibili in 3 misure diverse a seconda della
dimensione della narice del soggetto a cui è destinato.
Quando usarla?
NASAL WASH si può usare per il lavaggio delle cavità nasali, ed è utile per il bambino e l’adulto per
l’igiene quotidiana.
ATTENZIONE:
Il corpo superiore, disponibile come accessorio (cod. ACO598P), consente una completa
personalizzazione dell’apparecchio per ogni membro della famiglia. Per una corretta igiene se ne
consiglia l’utilizzo personalizzato. Utilizzate solo accessori originali Flaem.
La dotazione standard dell’apparecchio comprende (g A):
(1) Adattatore nasale “A”con apice in gomma morbida, indicato per bambini no a 3 anni
Adattatore nasale “B”con apice in gomma morbida, indicato dai 3 a 10 anni
Adattatore nasale “C”con apice in gomma morbida, indicato dopo i 10 anni
(2) Separatore
(3) Atomizzatore
(4) Corpo superiore estraibile e lavabile composto da 2 camere separate:
(4a) Camera di erogazione da 15 ml
(4b) Camera di recupero
(5) Corpo compressore doccia con impugnatura ergonomica
(5a) Pulsante di erogazione
(5b) Vano alloggiamento batterie
(5c) Valvola di aspirazione con coperchio
1. Inserimento delle batterie
1. Accedete al vano alloggiamento batterie (5b) premendo e sollevando il coperchio in direzione delle
frecce (g B).
2. Inserite 2 batterie nel vano, prestando attenzione alle indicazioni relative alle polarità delle batterie
riportate all’interno del vano. Utilizzate 2 batterie alcaline (AA).
3. Riposizionate il coperchio del vano alloggiamento batterie abbassando l’estremità superiore dello
sportello no al suo completo aggancio.
Togliete le batterie quando non utilizzate l’apparecchio per un periodo prolungato. Lasciando le batterie
molto a lungo nell’apposito vano si possono vericare perdite che rischierebbero di danneggiare
l’apparecchio.

3. Pulizia, sanicazione e disinfezione
Una scrupolosa pulizia è estremamente importante per la durata e il buon funzionamento dell’apparecchio.
Dopo l’utilizzo smontate la doccia nasale facendo riferimento al disegno (vedi g A), togliete le batterie e
procedete alla pulizia e/o sanicazione dei particolari eettuando le seguenti operazioni:
3.1 Pulizia Corpo compressore doccia ,valvola di aspirazione
Utilizzate solo un panno inumidito con detergente antibatterico (non abrasivo e privo di solventi di
qualsiasi natura).
La doccia nasale è dotata di valvola di aspirazione (5c) da pulire quando è sporca. Per accedere alla
valvola sollevate il coperchio vano alloggiamento batterie e rimuovete la valvola facendo leva con
una biro (g H); inne lavate la valvola con acqua e detersivo. Prima di rimontare il tutto, assicura-
teVi che la valvola sia completamente asciutta.
ATTENZIONE:
Il corpo compressore doccia non è protetto contro la penetrazione di liquidi; quindi non lavatelo sotto
acqua corrente o per immersione.

2. Istruzioni per l’uso
• Prima di ogni utilizzo, lavatevi accuratamente le mani e pulite la doccia nasale e i relativi
accessori come indicato nel paragrafo 3. Pulizia ,sanicazione e disinfezione.
• Durante l’applicazione è consigliato prestare attenzione perché la soluzione può gocciolare
dal naso.
2.1 Prima dell’utilizzo inserite le batterie come indicato nel paragrafo 1.
2.2 Per un corretto utilizzo della doccia nasale, il simbolo dell’omino ( ) (4c), posto sul corpo superiore
(4), deve essere sempre orientato verso l’utilizzatore. Il corpo superiore può essere ssato con la
posizione dell’omino sullo stesso lato del pulsante di erogazione (5a) consentendo l’azionamento
della doccia nasale con il dito pollice, oppure con l’omino posto sul lato opposto al pulsante per
l’azionamento con il dito indice.
Per ottenere una delle succitate condizioni, nel momento in cui si inizia ad avvitare in senso orario
il corpo superiore (4) sul corpo compressore doccia (5) (g. C), il simbolo dell’omino deve essere
collocato sul lato opposto alla posizione che si vorrà ottenere (g. C).
2.3 Versate la soluzione (max 15 ml) nella camera di erogazione (4a) del corpo superiore, come indicato
in (g. E). Vericate inoltre la presenza dell’atomizzatore (3).
2.4 Applicate il separatore (2) orientandolo col pallino (2a) in corrispondenza dell’omino ( ) (4c) posto
sull’esterno del corpo superiore (4), come indicato in (g. F). Successivamente inserite l’adattatore
nasale più idoneo alla dimensione delle Vostre narici (1A-1B-1C).
2.5 Inserite il foro dell’adattatore nasale in una narice (g. G).
2.6 Azionate la doccia nasale tenendo premuto il pulsante d’erogazione (5a) durante la fase di
inspirazione e rilasciatelo prima di espirare; in questa fase, per aiutare l’espulsione del muco,
soate delicatamente attraverso la narice trattata con la doccia nasale, tenendo chiusa l’altra
narice.
2.7 Anche durante l’erogazione è preferibile tenere chiusa con un dito l’altra narice dove non è
applicata la doccia.
2.8 Ripetete le operazioni dal punto 2.5 al punto 2.7 anche per l’altra narice cercando di distribuire
equamente la soluzione tra le due narici.
2.9 Nel caso di bambini o persone non autosucienti, comunque non in grado di coordinare le varie
fasi del punto 2.6, si consiglia di eseguire l’applicazione alternando ogni 15 secondi circa le due
narici, con pause necessarie all’espulsione del muco.
2.10 Terminata l’applicazione, spegnete l’apparecchio ed eseguite la pulizia e/o la sanicazione
seguendo le istruzioni fornite nel paragrafo 3. Pulizia ,sanicazione e disinfezione.
Smaltimento batterie: Le batterie esaurite devono essere smaltite tramite gli appositi
contenitori di raccolta.
ATTENZIONE:
• Non contiene parti che possano essere riparate dall’utente. La garanzia non copre le batterie o i
danni causati da batterie vecchie.
• Utilizzate solo batterie di marca. Sostituire sempre con batterie nuove e non mischiare batterie
nuove e usate. Utilizzate batterie della stessa marca e dello stesso tipo.
3. Pulizia, sanicazione e disinfezione

4. Avvertenze importanti
•Non lavate l’apparecchio sotto acqua corrente o per
immersione e tenetelo al riparo da schizzi d’acqua o da
altri liquidi.
•Non usate la doccia nasale mentre fate il bagno o la
doccia.
•Non esponete l’apparecchio e le batterie a temperature
particolarmenteestreme.Nonposizionatel’apparecchio,
la batteria vicino a fonti di calore, alla luce del sole o in
ambienti troppo caldi.
Come qualsiasi apparecchio elettrico, specie in presenza
di bambini, NASAL WASH richiede alcune precauzioni.
• L’apparecchio può essere utilizzato da bambini di età
non inferiore a 8 anni e da persone con ridotte capacità
siche, sensoriali o mentali, o prive di esperienza o della
necessariaconoscenza,purchésottosorveglianzaoppure
dopo che le stesse abbiano ricevuto istruzioni relative
all’uso sicuro dell’apparecchio e alla comprensione
dei pericoli ad esso inerenti. I bambini non devono

Metodo A: sotto acqua calda potabile (ca.40°C) con detergente delicato per piatti (non abrasivo).
Metodo B: mediante immersione in una soluzione con il 50% di acqua ed il 50% di aceto bianco.
Inne risciacquate abbondantemente con acqua calda potabile (ca.40°C);
Metodo C: mediante bollitura in acqua per 20 minuti; è preferibile l’utilizzo di acqua demineraliz-
zata o distillata per evitare depositi calcarei.
Asciugatura: Dopo aver sanicato i componenti scuoteteli energicamente ed adagiateli su un to-
vagliolo di carta, oppure in alternativa asciugateli con un getto d’aria calda (per esempio asciuga-
capelli).
3.3 Disinfezione: Gli accessori disinfettabili sono (1A-1B-1C,2,3,4)
La procedura di disinfezione descritta in questo paragrafo e da eseguire prima dell’utilizzo degli
accessori ed e ecace sui componenti sottoposti a tale trattamento solo se viene rispettata in tutti
i suoi punti e solo se i componenti da trattare vengono preventivamente sanicati. Il disinfettante
da utilizzare deve essere di tipo clorossidante elettrolitico (principio attivo: ipoclorito di sodio),
specico per disinfezione.
Esecuzione:
- Riempire un contenitore di dimensioni adatte a contenere tutti i singoli componenti da disinfettare
con una soluzione a base di acqua potabile e di disinfettante, rispettando le proporzioni indicate
sulla confezione del disinfettante stesso.
- Immergere completamente ogni singolo componente nella soluzione, avendo cura di evitare la for-
mazione di bolle d’aria a contatto con i componenti. Lasciare i componenti immersi per il periodo di
tempo indicato sulla confezione del disinfettante e associato alla concentrazione scelta per la prepa-
razione della soluzione.
- Recuperare i componenti disinfettati e risciacquarli abbondantemente con acqua potabile tiepida.
- Dopo aver disinfettato gli accessori scuoteteli energicamente ed adagiateli su un tovagliolo di carta,
oppure in alternativa asciugateli con un getto d’aria calda (per esempio asciugacapelli).
- Smaltire la soluzione secondo le indicazioni fornite dal produttore del disinfettante.

la garanzia e possono rappresentare un pericolo per
l’utilizzatore.
• ATTENZIONE: Non modicare questo apparecchio
senza l’autorizzazione del fabbricante.
•Il Fabbricante, il Venditore e l’Importatore si considerano responsabili agli eetti della sicurezza,
adabilità e prestazioni soltanto se l’apparecchio è impiegato in conformità alle istruzioni d’uso.
•Contaminazione microbica: si consiglia un uso personale della doccia nasale e degli accessori.
•Interazioni: i materiali utilizzati sono stati testati secondo le norme di biocompatibilità (ISO 10993-5
e ISO 10993-10).
•Eseguire le operazioni di pulizia dopo ogni applicazione, per un massimo grado di igiene e per
migliorare la durata ed il buon funzionamento dell’apparecchio.
•Non ostruite la valvola di aspirazione sul fondo del corpo compressore doccia; non introducete mai
alcunché nel suo coperchio.

Compatibilità elettromagnetica

Il fabbricante si riserva il diritto di apportare modiche tecniche e funzionali al prodotto senza alcun
preavviso.
Smaltimento: Per un adeguato smaltimento tenete presente che il prodotto contiene batterie.
In conformità alla Direttiva 2002/96/CE, il simbolo riportato sull’apparecchiatura indica che
l’apparecchio da smaltire, è considerato come riuto,e deve essere quindi oggetto di “raccolta
separata”. Pertanto, l’utente dovrà conferire (o far conferire) il suddetto riuto ai centri di raccolta
dierenziata predisposti dalle amministrazioni locali, oppure consegnarlo al rivenditore all’atto
dell’acquisto di una nuova apparecchiatura di tipo equivalente. La raccolta dierenziata del riuto
e le successive operazioni di trattamento, recupero e smaltimento, favoriscono la produzione di
apparecchiature con materiali riciclati e limitano gli eetti negativi sull’ambiente e sulla salute causati da
un’eventuale gestione impropria del riuto. Lo smaltimento abusivo del prodotto da parte dell’utente
comporta l’applicazione delle sanzioni amministrative di cui all’articolo 50 e seguenti aggiornamenti
del D. Lgs. n. 22/1997.

Read these instructions carefully before using the
nasal wash. Furthermore, we recommend that you keep this manual
for future consultation.
What is it?
NASAL WASH has been specically designed for the daily cleansing of the nasal cavity for adults and
children, both with saline solution or spring water. The nasal wash is portable and does not need to be
plugged in to be used.
How does it work?
NASAL WASH cleanses the nasal cavity, collecting the rinsing solution in a dedicated compartment in
the nasal wash bottle. It can be used with saline solutions and spring water.The ergonomically designed
spray compressor body provides a comfortable grip and a button that's easy to use. There's also an air
intake that reduces the noise it makes. The upper part of the body houses two adjacent chambers,
one for the wash solution and the other to collect the used rinse liquid. Three dierent sizes of nasal
adapters are available to suit the size of the nostrils, which are inserted into the top of the bottle.
When do I use it?
The NASAL WASH is used to clean the nasal cavity, and is useful for adults and children for daily
cleansing.
ATTENTION:
The upper body, available as an accessory (code ACO598P), allows complete customisation of
the system to suit every member of the family. For more hygienic use we recommend a personal
adapter for each user. Use only with original FLAEM accessories.

INCONVENIENTI RIMEDI
5.1 - Se la doccia
nasale eroga
poco o per poco
tempo.
Le batterie potrebbero essere parzialmente scariche. Togliete e sostituite le
batterie.
Vericate che l’atomizzatore (3) sia stato posizionato correttamente.
Vericate che la doccia nasale sia pulita e, nel caso non lo sia, procedete con una
nuova pulizia attenendovi scrupolosamente alle istruzioni, citate nel manuale,
per la Pulizia ,sanicazione e disinfezione.
5.2 - Se la doccia
nasale non eroga
la soluzione
Le batterie potrebbero essere parzialmente scariche o inserite in modo errato.
Togliete e sostituite le batterie.
Vericate che la soluzione sia stata versata correttamente nella camera di
erogazione (4a) del corpo superiore (4).
Vericate che la quantità di liquido non superi i 15 ml.
Vericate che la doccia nasale sia pulita e, nel caso non lo sia, procedete con una
nuova pulizia attenendovi scrupolosamente alle istruzioni, citate nel manuale,
per la Pulizia ,sanicazione e disinfezione.
NOTA: Se dopo aver vericato le condizioni sopradescritte l’apparecchio non dovesse ancora erogare,
consigliamo di rivolgerVi al proprio rivenditore di ducia o al centro d’assistenza autorizzato.

Read these instructions carefully before using the
nasal wash. Furthermore, we recommend that you keep this manual
for future consultation.
What is it?
NASAL WASH has been specically designed for the daily cleansing of the nasal cavity for adults and
children, both with saline solution or spring water. The nasal wash is portable and does not need to be
plugged in to be used.
How does it work?
NASAL WASH cleanses the nasal cavity, collecting the rinsing solution in a dedicated compartment in
the nasal wash bottle. It can be used with saline solutions and spring water.The ergonomically designed
spray compressor body provides a comfortable grip and a button that's easy to use. There's also an air
intake that reduces the noise it makes. The upper part of the body houses two adjacent chambers,
one for the wash solution and the other to collect the used rinse liquid. Three dierent sizes of nasal
adapters are available to suit the size of the nostrils, which are inserted into the top of the bottle.
When do I use it?
The NASAL WASH is used to clean the nasal cavity, and is useful for adults and children for daily
cleansing.
ATTENTION:
The upper body, available as an accessory (code ACO598P), allows complete customisation of
the system to suit every member of the family. For more hygienic use we recommend a personal
adapter for each user. Use only with original FLAEM accessories.
As standard, the device includes (g. A):
(1) Nasal adaptor "A" with soft rubber tip, designed for children up to 3 years
Nasal adaptor "B" with soft rubber tip. designed for children from 3 to 10 years
Nasal adaptor "C" with soft rubber tip, for anyone over the age of 10

1. Inserting the batteries
1. Open the battery compartment (5b) by pressing and lifting the cover in the direction of the arrows
(g. B).
2. Insert 2 batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring they correspond with the polarities
indicated in the battery compartment. Use 2 alkaline batteries (AA).
3. Replace the cover over the battery compartment by closing the top end of the hatch until it clips
shut.
Remove the batteries if the device will not be used for a long time. Batteries left in the battery
compartment for long periods may leak and could damage the device.

ATTENTION:

• Use only batteries of known brands. Always replace all old batteries with new ones. Do not mix old

2. Instructions for use
• Before using, wash you hands and clean the nasal wash and accessories as shown in paragraph
3. Cleaning, sanitising and disinfecting.
• During application, take care as the solution can drip from the nose.
2.1 Before use, insert the batteries as shown in paragraph 1.
2.2 To use the nasal wash correctly, the man icon ( ) (4c), on the upper part of the bottle (4) should be
facing the user. The upper part of the bottle can be attached with the man icon on the same side
as the button (5a) enabling the user to activate the nasal spray with the thumb, or with the icon on
the side opposite to the button, enabling the user to activate the nasal spray with the index nger.
When attaching the upper section (4) to the body of the nasal wash compressor body (5) (g. C),
start with the man icon opposite to the side you want it to end up on then turn clockwise until it
reaches the desired position (g. C).
2.3 Pour the solution (max 15 ml) into the distribution chamber (4a) of the upper section, as shown in
(g. E) Check that the nozzle is in place (3).
2.4 Apply the separator (2) aligning it so that the ball (2a) is in line with the man icon ( ) (4c) located
on the outside of the upper section of the bottle (4), as shown in gure (g. F). Next, insert the nasal
adapter most suited to the size of your nostrils (1A-1B-1C).
2.5 Insert the end of the nasal adapter into one nostril (g. G).
2.6 Activate the nasal wash by holding down the button (5a) while inhaling through the nose and
release the button before exhaling; when exhaling, blow gently through the nostrils to help expel
the mucus, while holding the other nostril closed.
2.7 It is also better to hold the other nostril closed with a nger while sucking up the nasal wash.
2.8 Repeat the operation from point 2.5 to point 2.7for the other nostril, trying to distribute the
solution evenly between the two nostrils.
2.9 For children or anyone unable to correctly coordinate the steps in point 2.6 without assistance, we
recommend alternating the application between the nostrils every 15 seconds, leaving suitable
pauses to allow them to expel the mucus.
2.10After application, turn the device o and clean and/or disinfect it following the instructions
provided in paragraph 3. Cleaning and disinfecting.
Battery disposal: Spent batteries must be disposed of in appropriate containers.
3. Cleaning, sanitising and disinfecting.
The device must be cleaned thoroughly to ensure that it works correctly and performs reliably. After use, take
the nasal wash apart as shown in the diagram (see g. A), remove the batteries and clean and/or sanitise the
parts as follows:
3.1 Cleaning the nasal wash compressor body, suction valve
Use only a damp cloth with antibacterial soap (non-abrasive and with no solvents of any sort).
The nasal wash has a suction valve (5c) that needs to be cleaned when dirty.To access the valve, lift
the batter compartment cover and remove the valve using a pen or similar object as a lever (g. H);
wash the valve with soap and water. Ensure the valve is completely dry before reassembling.
ATTENTION:
The nasal spray compressor body is not waterproof, therefore do not immerse the body in water or
wash under running water.
3.2 Sanitation: Sanitise the parts (1A-1B-1C,2,3,4) using one of the following methods.
Method A: under warm drinking water (approx. 40°C) with delicate (non abrasive) washing up
liquid.
Method B: immerse in a solution of 50% water and 50% white vinegar. Finally, rinse thoroughly

with warm drinking water (approx. 40°C);
Method C: boil in water for 20 minutes; it is preferable to use de-mineralised or distilled water to
prevent calcium deposits.
Drying: After having disinfected the accessories, shake them vigorously and place them on a pa-
per towel or dry them with a jet of hot air (e.g. with a hair dryer).
3.3 Disinfection: Accessories (1A-1B-1C,2,3,4) can be disinfected
The disinfection procedure described in this paragraph is to be followed before and after using the
accessories. It is eective on the parts that undergo this treatment only if each step is followed and
only if the parts to be treated have previously been sanitised as described in the previous SANI-
TISING section. The disinfectant must be an electrolytic chloroxidizer (active ingredient: sodium
hypochlorite) specically for disinfecting.
Implementation:
- Fill a container big enough to hold all of the parts to disinfect with a solution of potable water and
disinfectant, according to the proportions indicated on the packaging of the disinfectant.
- Completely immerse each part in the solution, taking care to avoid the formation of air bubbles on
the parts. Leave the parts immersed for the amount of time indicated on the packaging of the disin-
fectant associated with the concentration chosen for the solution.
- Remove the disinfected parts and rinse abundantly with warm potable water.
- After having disinfected the accessories, shake them vigorously and place them on a paper towel.
Alternatively, dry them with a jet of hot air (for example, a hair dryer).
- Dispose of the solution following the instructions provided by the disinfectant manufacturer.
4. Important warnings
•Do not wash the device under running water or by
immersion and keep it safe from being sprayed by water
or other liquids.
•Do not use the nasal wash while in the bath or shower.
•Do not expose the device and the batteries to extreme
temperatures. Keep the device away from sources of
heat, direct sunlight or excessively warm locations.
As with any electrical device, especially in the presence of
children, NASAL WASH requires certain precautions.
• The device may be used by children not younger than
8 years old and people with limited physical, sensory
or mental capacity, without experience or necessary
information, if under supervision, or after receiving the
instructions on how to use the device safely and having
understood the inherent risks. Children must not play
with the device.The cleaning and maintenance required
of the user must not be carried out by children without
supervision.
• Never use batteries dierent to those indicated on the
technical specications plate.
•Remove the batteries before putting away the NASAL
WASH.
•The casing of the device is not waterproof.

NOTE: If, after checking the aforementioned conditions, the appliance still does not distribute the wash,
we recommend that you contact your dealer or an authorised Flaem service centre.

The manufacurer reserves the right to make technical and functional modications to the product with

Disposal: Bear in mind that the product contains batteries and dispose of correctly. In compliance

Qu'est-ce que c'est ?
NASAL WASH est une douche nasale spécialement conçue pour eectuer l'hygiène quotidienne des
cavités nasales des adultes et des enfants, avec des solutions salines ou de l'eau thermale. La douche
nasale est transportable et peut être utilisée sans raccordement à une prise de courant.
Comment fonctionne-t-elle ?
La douche nasale NASAL WASH est prévue pour le lavage des cavités nasales, en recueillant la solution qui
redescend dans un compartiment de récupération, présent dans la douche nasale. Elle peut être utilisée
avec des solutions salines ou des eaux thermales. Le corps compresseur de la douche est ergonomique,
facilitant ainsi la prise en main de l'appareil et est équipé d'un bouton pour une activation sans diculté
ainsi que d'une soupape d'aspiration permettant l'entrée de l'air et la réduction du bruit. Le corps supérieur
est conçu pour comprendre deux compartiments adjacents, dont un est destiné à contenir la solution à
utiliser et l'autre, la solution de récupération. Sur le corps supérieur, les adaptateurs naseaux sont insérés,
ceux-ci sont disponibles en 3 formats diérents selon les dimensions des narines de l'utilisateur.
Quand peut-on l'utiliser ?
La douche nasale NASAL WASH peut être utilisée pour le lavage des cavités nasales et est utile pour
l'hygiène quotidienne des enfants et des adultes.
ATTENTION :
Le corps supérieur, disponible comme accessoire (code ACO598P), permet une personnalisation
complète de l'appareil pour chaque membre de la famille. Pour une hygiène correcte, on
recommande une utilisation personnalisée. Utilisez uniquement des accessoires Flaem d'origine.
L'équipement standard de l'appareil comprend (g. A) :

1. Introduction des piles
1. Accédez au compartiment de logement des piles (5b), en appuyant et en soulevant le couvercle en
direction des èches (g. B).
2. Insérez les 2 piles dans leur logement, en tenant compte des indications relatives à la polarité des
piles, gurées à l'intérieur du compartiment. Utilisez 2 piles alcalines (AA).
3. Replacez le couvercle du compartiment de logement des piles, en abaissant l'extrémité supérieure
du couvercle jusqu'à sa xation complète.
Retirez les piles quand vous n'utilisez pas l'appareil pendant une période prolongée. Si vous laissez
très longtemps les piles dans leur compartiment, des pertes peuvent se produire, ce qui pourrait
endommager l'appareil.
3. Nettoyage, assainissement et désinfection.
Le nettoyage minutieux de l'appareil est extrêmement important an de lui garantir une durée de vie prolon-
gée et un parfait fonctionnement. Après l'emploi, démontez la douche nasale en vous référant à l'illustration
(voir g. A), retirez les piles et procédez au nettoyage et/ou à l'assainissement des diérents éléments, en
eectuant les opérations suivantes :
3.1 Nettoyage du corps compresseur douche, soupape d'aspiration
Utilisez uniquement un chion humide avec du détergent antibactérien (non abrasif et sans aucun solvant).
La douche nasale est équipée d'une soupape d'aspiration (5c) qu'il faut nettoyer lorsqu'elle est sale. Pour
accéder à la soupape, soulevez le couvercle du logement des piles et retirez la soupape en faisant levier avec
un stylo (g. H) ; enn lavez la soupape avec de l'eau et du détergent. Avant le remontage complet, assurez-
vous que la soupape soit complète sèche.
ATTENTION :
Le corps compresseur de la douche n'est pas protégé contre la pénétration de liquides ; ne le lavez
donc pas sous le robinet d' eau courante ou en l'immergeant.

• Ne contient pas de pièces qui peuvent être réparées par l'utilisateur. La garantie ne couvre pas les piles
ou les dommages causés par de vieilles piles.
• Utilisez uniquement des piles de marque. Remplacez toujours les piles par de nouvelles et ne mélangez
pas les nouvelles piles avec celles déjà utilisées. Utilisez des piles de la m ê me marque et du m ê me type.
2. Instructions pour l'emploi
• Avant chaque emploi, lavez-vous soigneusement les mains et nettoyez la douche nasale et ses
accessoires, comme indiqué au paragraphe 3. Nettoyage, assainissement et désinfection.
• Pendant l'application, on conseille de faire attention car la solution peut s'écouler du nez.

Avant l'utilisation, insérez les piles, comme indiqué au paragraphe 1.
2.2 Pour une utilisation correcte de la douche nasale, le symbole du bonhomme ( ) (4c), situé sur le
corps supérieur (4), doit toujours être orienté vers l'utilisateur. Le corps supérieur peut être xé
avec la position du bonhomme du même côté que le bouton de distribution (5a), permettant ainsi
l'activation de la douche nasale avec le pouce ou bien avec le bonhomme situé du côté opposé au
bouton et l'activation s'eectue avec l'index.
An d'obtenir les conditions susmentionnées, au moment où l'on commence à visser dans le sens
horaire le corps supérieur (4) sur le corps compresseur de la douche (5) (g. C), le symbole du
bonhomme doit être positionné du côté opposé à la position souhaitée (g. C).
2.3 Versez la solution (max 15 ml) dans le compartiment de distribution (4a) du corps supérieur, comme
illustré à la (g. E). Vériez en outre la présence du vaporisateur (3).
2.4 Appliquez le séparateur (2) en l'orientant avec la bille (2a) en correspondance avec le bonhomme (
) (4c) situé sur la face extérieure du corps supérieur (4), comme illustré à la (g. F). Ensuite, insérez
l'adaptateur nasal le mieux adapté aux dimensions de vos narines (1A-1B-1C).
2.5 Introduisez l'orice de l'adaptateur nasal dans une narine (g. G).
2.6 Mettez en marche la douche nasale en maintenant enfoncé le bouton de distribution (5a) durant la
phase d'inspiration et relâchez-le avant d'expirer ; lors de cette phase, an de faciliter l'expulsion du
mucus, souez lentement par la narine traitée avec la douche nasale, en maintenant l'autre narine
fermée.
2.7 Même pendant la vaporisation, il est préférable de maintenir l'autre narine, celle qui n'est pas
traitée, fermée avec un doigt.
2.8 Répétez les opérations du point 2.5 au point 2.7 aussi pour l'autre narine, en essayant de distribuer
uniformément la solution entre les deux narines.
2.9 En présence d'enfants ou de personnes non auto-susantes, qui ne sont pas capables de
coordonner les diérentes phases du point 2.6, on conseille d'exécuter l'application en changeant
de narine toutes les 15 secondes environ et en faisant les pauses nécessaires à l'expulsion du mucus.
2.10 Une fois l'application achevée, éteignez l'appareil et procédez au nettoyage et/ou à l'assainissement,
en suivant les instructions fournies au paragraphe 3. Nettoyage, assainissement et désinfection.
Élimination des piles : Les piles déchargées doivent être éliminées dans les conteneurs de
collecte des déchets appropriés.
3. Nettoyage, assainissement et désinfection.
Le nettoyage minutieux de l'appareil est extrêmement important an de lui garantir une durée de vie prolon-
gée et un parfait fonctionnement. Après l'emploi, démontez la douche nasale en vous référant à l'illustration
(voir g. A), retirez les piles et procédez au nettoyage et/ou à l'assainissement des diérents éléments, en
eectuant les opérations suivantes :
3.1 Nettoyage du corps compresseur douche, soupape d'aspiration
Utilisez uniquement un chion humide avec du détergent antibactérien (non abrasif et sans aucun solvant).
La douche nasale est équipée d'une soupape d'aspiration (5c) qu'il faut nettoyer lorsqu'elle est sale. Pour
accéder à la soupape, soulevez le couvercle du logement des piles et retirez la soupape en faisant levier avec
un stylo (g. H) ; enn lavez la soupape avec de l'eau et du détergent. Avant le remontage complet, assurez-
vous que la soupape soit complète sèche.
ATTENTION :
Le corps compresseur de la douche n'est pas protégé contre la pénétration de liquides ; ne le lavez
donc pas sous le robinet d' eau courante ou en l'immergeant.

3.2 Assainissement : Procédez à l'assainissement des composants (1A-1B-1C,2,3,4) en choisissant une
des méthodes suivantes.
Méthode A : sous le robinet d'eau chaude potable (40°C environ) avec un détergent doux pour vais-

3.3 Désinfection : Les accessoires qui peuvent être désinfectés sont (1A-1B-1C,2,3,4)
La procédure de désinfection, décrite dans ce paragraphe, doit être exécutée avant l'utilisation des
accessoires et est ecace sur les composants soumis à ce traitement seulement si elle est respectée
rigoureusement point par point et seulement si les composants à traiter ont été préalablement assai-
nis. Le désinfectant à utiliser doit être du type chlore électrolytique (principe actif : hypochlorite de
sodium), spécique pour la désinfection.
Exécution :
- Remplissez un récipient dont les dimensions sont adaptées à contenir chaque composant à désinfecter
avec une solution à base d'eau potable et de désinfectant, en respectant les doses indiquées sur l'embal-

bulles d'air en contact avec les composants. Laissez les composants immergés pendant la durée indiquée

- Retirez les composants désinfectés et rincez-les abondamment à l'eau potable tiède.
- Après avoir désinfecté les accessoires, secouez-les énergiquement et disposez-les sur une serviette en
papier ou essuyez-les au moyen d'un jet d'air chaud (par exemple, un sèche-cheveux).
- Éliminez la solution selon les indications fournies par le fabricant du désinfectant.
4. Mises en garde importantes

batterijen samen met oude. Gebruik batterijen van hetzelfde merk en van hetzelfde type.
2. Gebruiksinstructies
• Vóór elk gebruik moet u uw handen zorgvuldig wassen en de neusdouche en bijhorende accessoires
reinigen zoals aangegeven in paragraaf 3. Reiniging, ontsmetting en desinfectie.
• Het is aanbevolen om tijdens de toepassing op te letten, omdat de oplossing uit de neus kan
druppelen.
2.1 Plaats de batterijen vóór het gebruik zoals in paragraaf 1 aangegeven.
2.2 Voor een correct gebruik van de neusdouche moet het symbool van het mannetje ( ) (4c), aangebracht op
de bovenste behuizing (4), naar de gebruiker toe gericht zijn. De bovenste behuizing kan worden bevestigd
in de positie waarbij het mannetje aan dezelfde kant van de afgifteknop (5a) zit, zodat de neusdouche kan
worden met de duim kan worden bediend, ofwel met het mannetje aan de kant tegenover de drukknop
om het apparaat met de wijsvinger te bedienen.
Om een van de hierboven vermelde condities te verkrijgen, moet u op het moment dat u de bovenste
behuizing (4) op de behuizing van de douchecompressor (5) begint aan te schroeven (g. C) ervoor zorgen
dat het symbool van het mannetje aan de kant zit tegenover de positie die u wilt verkrijgen (g. C).
2.3 Giet de oplossing (max 15 ml) in de afgiftekamer (4a) van de bovenste behuizing, zoals aangegeven in (g.
E). Controleer ook of de verstuiver (3) aanwezig is.
2.4 Breng het scheidingselement (2) aan en richt die met het bolletje (2a) ter hoogte van het mannetje ( )
(4c) aan de buitenkant van de bovenste behuizing (4), zoals aangegeven in (g. F). Vervolgens plaatst u het
meest geschikte neusstuk volgens de grootte van uw neusgaten (1A-1B-1C).
2.5 Steek de opening van het neusstuk in een neusgat (g. G).
2.6 Bedien de neusdouche door de afgifteknop (5a) tijdens het inademen ingedrukt te houden en laat de knop
los vooraleer uit te ademen. Om de uitstoot van het slijm tijdens deze fase te bevorderen, moet u snuiten
via het neusgat behandeld met de neusdouche en ondertussen het andere neusgat dicht houden.
2.7 Tijdens de afgifte moet u bij voorkeur ook het andere neusgat waar de douche niet wordt gebruikt met een
vinger dicht houden.
2.8 Herhaal de handelingen vanaf punt 2.5 tot punt 2.7 voor het andere neusgat, probeer om de oplossing
gelijkmatig over de twee neusgaten te verdelen.
2.9 Bij kinderen en mensen die niet in staat zijn om de verschillende fase van punt 2.6 te coördineren, is het
aanbevolen om de toepassing ongeveer iedere 15 seconden van neusgat te verwisselen, met de nodige
pauzes om het slijm uit te stoten.
2.10 Zet het apparaat na de behandeling uit en voer de reiniging en/of ontsmetting uit volgens de instructies in
paragraaf 3. Reiniging, ontsmetting en desinfectie.
Verwijdering van batterijen. De lege batterijen moeten via de voorziene inzamelpunten
worden verwijderd.
3. Reiniging, ontsmetting en desinfectie
Een zorgvuldige reiniging is uiterst belangrijk voor de levensduur en de goede werking van het apparaat.
Demonteer de neusdouche na het gebruik volgens de tekening (zie g A), haal de batterijen eruit en reinig
en/of ontsmet de onderdelen zoals hierna wordt beschreven:
3.1 Reiniging behuizing douchecompressor en aanzuigklep
Gebruik alleen een doek die bevochtigd is met een antibacterieel reinigingsmiddel (niet schurend
en zonder solventen).
De neusdouche is uitgerust met een aanzuigklep (5c) die u moet reinigen als die vuil is. Til de afdek-
king van het batterijbakje op om bij de klep te kunnen komen en verwijder de klep door die met de
punt van een balpen eruit te wippen (g. H). Daarna reinigt u de klep met water en reinigingsmid-
del. Vooraleer alles opnieuw te monteren, moet u controleren of de klep volledig droog is.
LET OP:
De behuizing van de douchecompressor is niet beschermd tegen binnendringende vloeistoen, u
mag die dus niet spoelen onder stromend water of in vloeistof onderdompelen.
