Safety Instructions
This manual belongs to the Maginon Jukebox with Bluetooth. It contains
important information about the start-up and handling.
Study these Operating Instructions and, in particular the Safety information
in detail prior to using the Jukebox with Bluetooth. Non-observance of these
Operating Instructions can lead to damage to the Jukebox with Bluetooth.
Keep Operating Instructions for further use. When passing on the Jukebox with
Bluetooth to third parties please also include these Operating Instructions.

Caution: To prevent risk of electric shock, do not remove

No user-serviceable parts are inside. Refer servicing to
qualified service personnel.

− Read these instructions – All the safety and operating instructions should be
read before this product is used.

− Do not use this apparatus near water – The appliance should not be used near
water or moisture – for example, in a wet basement or near a swimming pool.
− Clean only with a dry cloth.
− Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the
manufacturer’s instructions.
− Do not install near any heat sources such as radiations, heat registers, stoves, or
other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
− Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding plug. A polarized
plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding plug has
two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong
is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet,
consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
− Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at the
plugs, convenience receptacles, and at the point where they exit from the
apparatus.
− Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
− Unplug the apparatus during lighting storms or when unused for long periods
of time.
− Refer all repairs to a qualified personnel. Repairs are
required if the device has been damaged in any way such
as the power supply cord or the plug became damaged,
something spilled on the product, the product fell or
something fell on it, the product was exposed to extreme
weather conditions or moisture, or the product just isn’t
operating normal.
− The main plug is used as a disconnect device, the disconnect device shall
remain readily operable.

apparatus.

− The equipment should always be used in a moderate climate.

− No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the
apparatus.

− CAUTION: The servicing instructions are for qualified service personnel only. To
reduce the risk of electric shock, do not perform any services other than that
stated in the operation manual unless you are qualified to do so.
Products marked with this sign may not have a protective earth
terminal. Electrical safety is ensured by additional insulation. All
live components must have at least double insulation.

Front View
1. Power / Function
Press the button to turn the unit ON. Press and hold the button again to turn the
unit OFF. When turned on, press the button to select a function mode (CD, FM,
AUX-IN or Bluetooth).
2. Volume knob
Turn the knob to adjust the volume.

Push the button to turn the 5 color changing LED Tube on or off.

In CD mode, press the button one time to skip to the next track. Press and hold
the button for fast forward. In Radio mode, press the button to activate the
manual station search. Press and hold the button to activate the auto search.

In CD mode, press once to restart the current track, press twice in to return to
the beginning of the previous track. Press and hold the button for fast rewind.
In Radio mode press the button to activate the manual station search. Press
and hold the button to activate the auto search.

In CD/ Bluetooth mode, press the button to start or pause playback. In FM mode,
press and hold the button to scan radio stations. Press the button one time to
select a preset station.

8. Disc Tray
Push to open the CD tray.
9. STOP
In CD mode press this button to stop the playback of a track. In FM mode, press
the button to select a specific preset station number.
10. Repeat/ Program
In the CD mode during playback, press the button to repeat a track or the
complete CD. Before playback starts, press the button to program the sequence
of the tracks.

11. FM Wire Antenna
Extend the wire antenna and find the position for best radio reception.

Select single color mode or changing color mode for the LED Tube.
13. AUX IN Port
You can connect an external source to the AUX IN port.

Plug the AC Power cord into a wall outlet.

Setup
First connect the AC power cord to a wall outlet.
Do not bundle the audio signal cables together with the AC power
cord. This will cause interference.
Basic Operation
1. Turn the unit on .
2. Press the to select the playback source (CD/FM/AUX/Bluetooth).
3. Adjust the volume to the desired sound level.
4. Press and hold the button to turn the unit off.

1. Press the button to select the CD mode. “CD” will appear on the
display.
When there is no disc in the tray “disc” will appear on the display.

2. Push the CD tray door to open the tray.
3. Place a disc in the tray with the label facing out and close the tray again.
4. The CD player will automatically start playing the first track on the disc.
5. To pause press the button. Press the button again to resume play.
6. To skip the track forward or backward press the desired
skip button. Press the button once and the current track will restart.
Press the button twice in succession the previous track will start.
Press the button to skip to the next track.
7. Press and hold the desired skip button for fast forward or rewind within a track.
8. To stop playing a track press the STOP button.
− Only one disc can be placed in the tray
− The disc must be inserted correctly in the disc tray. The label of
the disc must face out. An incorrectly inserted disc may damage
the device.
− While the player reads the disc the buttons are temporarily
deactivated.
Repeat ⁄ Random Playback
Press the button to cycle through the following modes:
Repeat 1 (Repeat one track)
The current track will be repeated. If you skip to another track the repeat function
will be still valid.
Repeat all (Repeat the entire CD)
The entire disc will be repeated.
Random play (Shuffle through the entire CD)
The tracks on the disc will be played in random order.
Press the button again to deactivate the repeat or
random mode.

Programmed Playback
You can program the playback sequence of up to 20 tracks from a CD.
1. Press the button to select the CD mode and insert a CD in the CD tray.
2. The disc automatically starts playback. Press the STOP button first and then
the button.
3. “PROG” and “P01” will appear on the display.
4. Press or to select the desired track number.
5. Press the button to save the selected track as “P01”. Your playlist
will start with this song.
6. “P02” will appear on the display. Repeat the steps 4 to 5 to add additional tracks
in your play list. Up to 20 tracks may be selected. You can select a track to be
played twice in the play list.
7. When you have added all desired tracks press the button to start
playing the playlist you programmed.
8. Press the STOP button to cancel the program mode.
When all 20 program tracks are added, press the
button. “FI” will appear on the display.
Recall the Programmed Order
While the CD is in stop mode, press or repeatedly to show the
order of the added tracks in the playlist.
To add an additional track to the end of the programmed order
Press the button while the CD is in Stop mode. Select the additional
track number by pressing or and press the
button again. The selected track will be added to the end of the play list.
To delete the programmed order
Press the STOP button when the CD is Stop mode, or press the
button.

1. Press the button to select the FM mode.
2. Press the or button to manually tune into the desired
station.
3. For automatic station scanning, press and hold the or
button.
4. Use the STOP or button to scan through the stations stored in
the preset list. (How to set a station as a preset will be explained in the next
chapter)
Extend the wire antenna and find the best position for radio
reception.
Set a Station as a Preset
You can store up to 20 FM radio stations as Presets.
1. Select the desired FM Station.
2. Press the , and “P01” will appear on the display. Press the
again before the “P01” stops blinking and the selected frequency
and station will be saved as “P01” (Preset01).
3. To add additional stations, tune to the next desired radio station.
A. Press the button. The stored presets will be displayed.
B. Use the STOP or button to select the desired preset number
(P01–P20). The selected number will appear flashing on the display.
C. Press the button while the selected preset number is flashing.
The radio station will be stored under the current preset number.
4. Press the STOP or button to scan through the stored preset
stations.

In the AUX (auxiliary) mode, this unit can playback audio from an external audio
device (iPod, MP3 Player, Portable CD Player, etc.).
Connecting via Auxiliary
1. Press the button to select the AUX-In mode.
2. Connect one end of the AUX cable into the AUX IN port (13) in the rear of the
Jukebox.
3. Connect the other end of the AUX cable with the headphone plug of your
external audio device.
− The Playback functions and operations are only available on
the external device.
− The AUX cable is not delivered with the
MAGINON CJB 10 CD Jukebox.

(Bluetooth Mode)
In Bluetooth mode (BT) you can playback audio from an external Bluetooth device,
such as a mobile phone.
Connecting via Bluetooth
1. Press the button to select the Bluetooth mode. A Bluetooth symbol
will appear on the display.
2. Make sure the Bluetooth function on the external device is activated.
The maximum distance between the MAGINON Jukebox and the
paired Bluetooth device is 33 ft (10 m).
3. Open the Bluetooth options of the external device and check the available
Bluetooth devices. The MAGINON CJB 10 CD will be shown as “Maginon Jukebox”
in the device list. Select the “Maginon Jukebox” and pair it with your external
device. If a window with a password request appears, enter “0000” as the
password.
4. When the devices are successfully paired you will hear an audio signal from the
Jukebox.
Playback via Bluetooth
1. To play music from the paired Bluetooth device, open the music player software
on the device and start playback.
2. To control playback use the , or button of the
Jukebox.
Please note that some control buttons may not work during a
Bluetooth connection. This depends on the Bluetooth version of
the external player.

Light Mode Function
Using the LED light tube
1. Press the button on the front side of the Jukebox to turn on the
LED Tube.
2. The Outer LED Tube can light up with 5 changing colors (depending on the
selected Light mode).
3. With the “Light Mode Switch” (12) on the rear side of the Jukebox you can chose
between two different light modes: Mixed Light Mode and Single Light Mode.
- Mixed Light Mode: In this mode the LED tube will slowly transition through
the 5 different colors of light
- Single Light Mode: In this mode the LED will remain in the currently shown
color.
The tube on the CD Lid will not light up!

GENERAL
