if you do not follow these instructions.

Childrenshouldbeharnessedinatalltimesandshouldneverbe
leftunattended.Thechildshouldbeclearofmovingpartswhile
makingadjustments.Thisvehiclerequiresregularmaintenance
bytheuser.Overloading,incorrectfoldingandtheuseofnon-
approvedaccessoriesmaydamageorbreakthisvehicle.Readthe
instructions.
• Always ensure that your pushchair is fully open and all locks are engaged.
Take particular care if the raincover is fitted. Check that it is not entangled
or preventing the locks from functioning correctly.
• Ensure that the harness is correctly adjusted, providing a snug fit around
your child.The pushchair is supplied with ‘D’ ring harness attachment points
located on either side at the base of the backrest for fitting a separate
harness conforming to BS 6684/BSEN 13210 if required.
• Always ensure the brakes are engaged when the pushchair is left unattended.
• Care should be taken when using any PVC raincover. Regularly check that
your baby is comfortable and not overheating.The raincover should be
removed when it is not raining.
• Always ensure your child is clear of moving parts before you adjust the
position of the backrest.
• Always manoeuvre your pushchair up and down kerbs and steps gently. Do
not let your pushchair drop. Carry it up stairs whenever possible.
• Never allow additional children to ride on the pushchair at any time.
• Do not hang shopping from the handles. Do not use any replacement parts
or accessories e.g. child seats, raincovers, bag hooks, stand-on platforms, etc,
except those recommended or supplied by Mamas & Papas.The use of non-
approved replacement parts or accessories may damage, or break or make
your pushchair unsafe.
• Do not store your pushchair in a damp place.
• The basket supplied with your pushchair is designed to hold a maximum of
3kgs. Excessive weight could damage the basket or impede the safe operation
of the pushchair.
• This product complies with BS 7409:1996

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
• Your pushchair deserves careful handling and requires regular maintenance.
Regularly check that the safety harness is correctly fitted and that the
webbing has not become frayed or damaged. If the harness is damaged, we
recommend that a new one is fitted.
• Clean the plastic parts of the pushchair with a damp cloth, do not use
abrasives or bleach.
• Clean and lubricate the wheels, safety locks (where appropriate) and sliding
parts using a light oil or silicon spray. Do not use heavy oil as this will
attract dust and grit which tend to clog and damage moving parts.
• Fabric care:All the Mamas & Papas pushchairs fabrics are shower resistant.
Should your pushchair become wet, do not fold the hood or apron when
you take it inside.Always allow the fabrics to dry naturally away from strong
heat sources such as fires, radiators and out of direct sunlight.
• Whilst fabrics are carefully selected and tested, washing, wear and normal
exposure to bright sunlight may cause their colour to change.
• The exposed edges of fabrics are often the first to wear and fray, remember
this when storing or transporting your pushchair and accessories.
• Light soiling to the pushchair can be removed with a damp sponge and a
mild detergent.
• Washing instructions:The fabric cover can be sponged clean using a mild
detergent if necessary.
• Do not use abrasives or bleach to clean the fabric or frame.

OPENING THE PUSHCHAIR
Place the pushchair on the
floor and stand to the side of it,
see diagram.
Pull the locking catch on the
right outwards until it is clear
of the locking stud.
Place your foot on the back
of the pushchair to prevent it
rolling backwards.
Grip the handles and lift until
the frame is open.
Push down on the primary lock
(see diagram) on the pushchair’s
back frame until it locks into
the open position.

ATTACHING THE BASKET
Slot the basket in between
the sides and back of the
pushchair’s frame.
Attach the deepest end of
the basket to the rear of the
pushchair’s frame as shown in
diagram.
Attach the shallow end of the
basket to the front legs of the
pushchair’s frame as shown in
the diagram.

ADJUSTING THE BACKREST
The backrest of the pushchair
can be adjusted to one of five
positions. Never adjust the
backrest with the child’s weight
against it.
Raisingthebackrest:
Grip the middle of the top of
the backrest and lift upwards
until the desired position is
reached and the backrest locks
into position.
Loweringthebackrest:
On the sides of the pushchair
there are the two backrest
adjustment brackets, see
diagram. Push the switches on
the underside of brackets, push
both of them upwards and hold.
Lower the backrest into the
desired position.Always check
that the backrest has locked
into position by attempting
to push it downwards before
allowing the child to put its full
weight on it.

ADJUSTING THE LEG REST
The angle of the seats legrest
can be adjusted for the comfort
of your child.
Raisingthelegrest:
Grip both sides of the legrest
and lift upwards into the
desired position.
Loweringthelegrest:
Push both or the legrest
adjustment buttons on the
sides of the legrest inwards.
Lower both sides of the legrest
into the desired position and
release the buttons.
Check the legrest is locked in
position by attempting to push
it downwards.

FITTING THE HOOD
Fittingthehood:
Align the clips on the sides of
the hood with the holes in the
pushchair’s frame. Push the
clips over the frames and then
slide the studs on the inside of
the clips into the holes in the
frame.
Pull the back of the hood down
over the back of the pushchair’s
backrest.
Push the two tensioning
brackets on the sides of the
hood down until they lock.
The top panel of the hood can
be rolled up to reveal the PVC
window.
Removingthehood:
Push the tensioning brackets
upwards.
Pull the clips on the sides of the
hood off the handle frame.

OPERATING THE SWIVEL WHEELS
The front wheel of the
pushchair can be used in either
the swivel or locked mode.
Swivelmode:Best on hard
flat surfaces and tight spaces.
Lockedmode: Best on
uneven ground and rough
surfaces.
Swivelmode:
Using your toes push the lock
on the front wheel housing
downwards.
The wheels can now rotate
through 360°.
WARNING:Do not run with
the pushchair when the wheels
are in swivel mode.
Lockedmode:
Turn the wheels until they face
forwards, see diagram.
Using your toes push the lock
on the front wheel housing
upwards until the wheels are
locked in position.

OPERATING THE BRAKES
Lockingthebrakes:
Push down on both of the
brake levers on either side of
the pushchair with your toes.
Checkingthebrakes:
Always check that the brakes
have correctly engaged before
releasing the pushchairs handles
by attempting to gently push
it backwards and forwards.
The pushchair’s wheels must
not move. If they do, lock the
brakes again following the
instructions given above.
Unlockingthebrakes:
Push upwards on the brake
levers either side of the
pushchair with your toes.

USING THE SAFETY HARNESS
Lockingtheharness:
Push the two tongues on the
ends of the waist straps into
the buckle on the end of the
crotch strap (1).
The harness will automatically
lock when the tongues have
been fully inserted.
The harness can be adjusted
using the slide buckles on the
harness.Adjust the harness
until it fits your child snugly.
Unlockingtheharness:
Squeeze the ends of the
tongues together(2) and then
slide them out of the buckle
(3).
Your child can now be removed
from the pushchair.

FITTING THE RAINCOVER
Fit and open the pushchair’s
hood.
Place the top of the raincover
over the hood and pull the
raincover down over the front of
the pushchair, see diagram.
Fasten the velcro straps on the
sides of the raincover around
the locations shown on the
pushchair, see diagram.

FOLDING THE PUSHCHAIR
IMPORTANT:Beforefolding
ensurethatthelegrestis
inthehorizontalposition
andifthehoodistted,
itiscorrectlyfoldedwith
thehoodtensioningbars
released.
Lift the primary lock in the
middle back of the pushchairs
frame upwards as far as it will go
using your hand.
Push down on the secondary
lock on the right hand side of
the pushchair with your toes.
Fold the handles forward over
the top of the pushchair.
Continue to fold the handles
over the top of the pushchair
until the frame of the pushchair
is fully folded and flat on
the ground. Ensure that the
locking catch on the side of the
pushchair has engaged before
lifting the pushchair up. Check
that the link between the brakes
is pushed inwards against the
frame.
