INTRODUCTION
Ballhead designed for use with compact,35mmand small digitalcamera.
SET UP
ASSEMBLING HEADON TRIPOD & e
Assemble the head onthetripod using 3/8femalethreadA.
p .. The top plate onManfrotto tripodsare equippedwiththree setscrews
ill Mwhichclamp againstthebase of the head to ensureeffectiveand
securelocking.
MOUNTING THE CAMERA ON HEAD
Mountthe cameraon thehead using 1/4male threadB.
p .. Please ensure youhave securelylocked the camera on to theplate
ill before use (fig.2).
USEO
Thelever Clocksthe movement of thehead.
To release the ball 0for positioningthecamera,unlockleverCbyrotating
until free position.
Once the desired position isachieved,lock theball 0byturning leverC
fullyin a clockwise direction.
Thehead incorporates a separatefrictionadjustmentfor the ball movement,
which makes it easierto control thepositioning of theheadbeforelocking it
off.To adjust thefrictionensurestheball 0is not locked (rotating thelocking
lever C anticlockwise). Then hold the camerain onehand androtate withthe
other the knob Fclockwiseto tighten the friction,anticlockwise toreduce
thefriction.

ill lock the ball 0byfullyturning thelever C.
Note:The angle of the lever Ccan be repositionedas requiredwithout
effecting thelockitself.Pull thelever outwards,rotate as required andrelease
andit will locateinthe new position.
