After switching the camera on, the controller LED indicator should light
continuously. The last used zoom speed mode will be set – the current
setup will be indicated by one of zoom speed LEDs.
LED indicator not lighting at all means problem with power supply of
the controller.
LED indicator blinking slowly means problem with LANC
communication.
In either case check the cable connections to camera and controller.
Controller is designed to work only with video cameras having the 2.5
mm stereo LANC jack.
Never connect controller to any other jack, which does not have the
LANC logo. It may even result in permanent controller and/or camera
damage!

OPERATION
NOTE: Not all function may be available depending on camera working mode e.g. if using Sony camera Memory mode the “Record start/stop” functions
are not working.
Selecting zoom speed limit
Press one of the zoom speed buttons. The zoom mode LED should light below or above the button indicating current zoom speed limit.
Selecting zoom mode
To chose between the progressive and fixed zoom modes, press the zoom speed button – each time you press the button, zoom mode will change from
progressive to fixed and vice versa. The LED will indicate current mode.
Customizing zoom speed buttons
Rotate the zoom wheel and zoom with any speed you prefer. Press the zoom speed limiting button, you want to re-program. While zooming, keep it
pressed for approx. 1 sec, until the LED indicator will light off. The new speed limit will be saved in microcontroller internal flash memory and restored
after each power off.
You may always reset the zoom speed to predefined factory setup (see. Resetting zoom speed buttons).
Custom speed reprogramming may be done practically unlimited number of times (min. 1.000.000,- times).
Resetting zoom speed buttons
Each of three zoom speed buttons, is factory pre-set to following LANC zoom speeds:
• No. 1 zoom speed button – speed no. 1 (slowest available LANC speed)
• No. 2 zoom speed button – speed no. 3
• No. 3 zoom speed button – speed no. 8 (fastest available LANC speed)
You may reset each zoom speed button to factory pre-set: stop zooming (release the zoom knob) and press one of the zoom speed limiting buttons.
Keep it pressed for approx. 1 sec, until the LED indicator will light off. The factory pre-set speed limit will be restored.
Progressive mode zoom
Rotate the knob right (or left, dependent on the zoom direction) to zoom tele. The more angle the knob is rotated the faster zoom speed is. Zoom speed
is limited to the pre-set speed indicated by LED.
Rotate the knob left (or right, dependent on the zoom direction) to zoom wide. The more angle the knob is rotated the faster zoom speed is.
Zoom speed is limited to the pre-set speed indicated by LED.

Fixed mode zoom
Rotate the knob right (or left, dependent on the zoom direction) to zoom tele. Zoom speed is always constant, limited to the pre-set speed indicated by LED.
Rotate the knob left (or right, dependent on the zoom direction) to zoom wide. Zoom speed is always constant, limited to the pre-set speed indicated by LED.
Customizing zoom direction
To change the zoom direction keep pressed simultaneously “focus far” and “focus close” buttons until the LED indicator will light off.
The buttons must be kept pressed for at least 3 seconds.
The new zoom direction information will be permanently stored in the controller's internal flash memory and restored after each power off.
Standby mode
Press the button once to switch camera into standby mode.
While camera in standby mode press the button again to switch camera back into normal operation mode.
Pressing this button while camera is switched off will have no effect on camera operation.
Focus close
Keep the button pressed to adjust the focus for close objects.
Works only if camera in manual focus mode.
Focus far
Keep the button pressed to adjust the focus for far objects. Works only if camera in manual focus mode.
Record start/stop
Press the button once to start recording.
Press the button again to stop recording.
The LED indicator will blink when that the camera is recording.
Zoom direction reprogramming may be done practically unlimited number of times (min. 100.000, times).
Push Auto Focus
Press the button to put the camera temporarily into Auto Focus mode.
As soon as you release the button the camera returns into manual focus mode.
This button has no effect, if camera is already working in Auto Focus mode.

PRECAUTIONS
Water resistivity
We put a lot of attention on making the LANC controller to be as much water resistant as possible, while maintaining its reasonable price.
However we cannot guarantee 100% water resistance under all circumstances and you should avoid using the controller under heavy environment
conditions like rain and over 95% humidity level.
High temperature
Avoid temperatures exceeding +70°C – especially do not leave the controller exposed for direct contact with heavy sun shines, e.g. in the car parked in
sunny place.
Electrical precaution
The cable is always one of the most easy breakable element of any electronic system, especially when as exposed to mechanical wear off.
Therefore to extend the life of your controller and make the basic “repair” as cheap as possible we decided to allow easy cable exchange.
However, to avoid accidental short circuiting the camera LANC connection, you must remember to always plug the cable to the controller first.
We advise you to not to remove the cable from the controller, if it is not necessary.

1. Spegnere la videocamera

Il controllo è progettato per funzionare esclusivamente con videocamere
che dispongano del connettore stereo LANC da 2,5 mm.
Non collegare mai il controllo a qualunque altro connettore simile che
non sia contrassegnato dal logo LANC , perché si potrebbe
danneggiare in maniera permanente il controllo e/o la videocamera!
Il controllo è progettato come sistema autonomo di controllo per
videocamere e non consente il funzionamento simultaneo con altri
dispositivi di controllo.
3. Accendere la videocamera: ora potete iniziare ad usare il controllo
Viene impostata la modalità della velocità di zoomata utilizzata la volta
precedente; l’impostazione corrente viene visualizzata da uno dei LED
dello zoom. Il LED della massima velocità di zoomata “Progressiva”
dovrebbe accendersi, per indicare che è selezionata la modalità di
velocità progressiva e la massima velocità dello zoom è limitata dalla
velocità preimpostata numero 3.
La mancata accensione del LED indica problemi con l’alimentazione del
controllo. Il lento lampeggio del LED indica problemi di comunicazione
LANC. In entrambi i casi controllare le connessioni via cavo tra
videocamera e controllo.
Il controllo è progettato per funzionare esclusivamente con videocamere
che dispongano del connettore stereo LANC da 2,5 mm. Non collegare
mai il controllo a qualunque altro connettore simile che non sia
contrassegnato dal logo LANC, perché si potrebbe danneggiare in
maniera permanente il controllo e/o la videocamera!
Il controllo è progettato come sistema autonomo di controllo per
videocamere e non consente il funzionamento simultaneo con altri
dispositivi di controllo.

FUNZIONAMENTO
NOTA: In base alla modalità di utilizzo della videocamera, non è detto che tutte le funzioni siano sempre disponibili. Ad esempio, se si utilizza una
videocamera Sony in modalità Memory non sono attive le funzioni “Avvio/arresto registrazione”.
Come selezionare la velocità limite dello zoom
Premere uno dei pulsanti della velocità dello zoom. In corrispondenza del pulsante che indica la velocità selezionata si accende un LED.
Come selezionare la modalità zoom
Per scegliere fra le modalità progressiva e fissa, premere il pulsante della velocità dello zoom: ad ogni successiva pressione la modalità dello zoom cambia
da progressiva a fissa e viceversa. Il LED acceso indica la modalità corrente.
Come personalizzare i pulsanti della velocità dello zoom
Ruotare il comando dello zoom per zoomare alla velocità preferita. Durante la zoomata, premere il pulsante di velocità limite che volete riprogrammare,
tenendolo premuto per circa 1 secondo, fino a far spegnere il LED.
La nuova velocità limite è memorizzata nella memoria flash interna del microcontrollore e verrà mantenuta anche dopo lo spegnimento.
È sempre possibile ripristinare le impostazioni predefinite (vedere: Come ripristinare i pulsanti delle velocità zoom).
È possibile riprogrammare le velocità di zoomata personalizzata un numero praticamente illimitato di volte (min. 1.000.000 di volte).
Come ripristinare i pulsanti delle velocità zoom
Ciascuno dei tre pulsanti relativi alle velocità di zoomata è preimpostato sulle seguenti velocità LANC:
• Pulsante n° 1: velocità n° 1 (minima velocità LANC disponibile)
• Pulsante n° 2: velocità n° 3
• Pulsante n° 3: velocità n° 8 (massima velocità LANC disponibile)
Per ripristinare un pulsante al valore preimpostato è sufficiente tenere premuto il pulsante per almeno 1 secondo evitando di zoomare nel frattempo (non
toccare il comando dello zoom) fino a far accendere il LED. La velocità limite preimpostata in fabbrica è stata ripristinata.
Zoom in modalità progressiva
Ruotare il comando verso destra (oppure sinistra, in base alla direzione prescelta per il comando dello zoom) per zoomare verso le focali tele. Ad un
maggiore angolo di rotazione corrisponde una maggiore velocità di zoomata. La velocità dello zoom è limitata dalla velocità indicata dal LED.
Ruotare il comando verso sinistra (oppure destra, in base alla direzione prescelta per il comando dello zoom) per zoomare verso le focali grandangolari.
Ad un maggiore angolo di rotazione corrisponde una maggiore velocità di zoomata. La velocità dello zoom è limitata dalla velocità indicata dal LED.

Zoom in modalità fissa
Ruotare il comando verso destra (oppure sinistra, in base alla direzione prescelta per il comando dello zoom) per zoomare verso le focali tele. La velocità
dello zoom rimane costante, limitata dalla velocità indicata dal LED. Ruotare il comando verso sinistra (oppure destra, in base alla direzione prescelta per
il comando dello zoom) per zoomare verso le focali grandangolari. La velocità dello zoom rimane costante, limitata dalla velocità indicata dal LED.
Personalizzazione della direzione di zoomata
Per invertire la direzione di rotazione del comando dello zoom tenere premuti contemporaneamente i pulsanti “fuoco più lontano” e “fuoco più vicino” fino
a far spegnere la spia LED. I pulsanti vanno tenuti premuti per almeno 3 secondi.
Il nuovo dato sulla direzione dello zoom viene tenuto memorizzato nella memoria flash interna e non viene quindi perduto allo spegnimento.
È possibile riprogrammare la direzione dello zoom un numero praticamente illimitato di volte (min. 100.000 volte).
Modalità Standby
A videocamera accesa, premere il pulsante una volta per portarla in modalità standby.
Mentre la videocamera si trova in modalità standby, premere di nuovo il pulsante per portarla in normale modalità operativa.
Premere questo pulsante con la videocamera spenta non avrà alcun effetto sul suo funzionamento.
Fuoco più vicino
Tenere premuto questo pulsante per regolare la messa a fuoco su soggetti vicini.
Funziona soltanto se la videocamera è in modalità di messa a fuoco manuale.
Fuoco più lontano
Tenere premuto questo pulsante per regolare la messa a fuoco su soggetti lontani.
Funziona soltanto se la videocamera è in modalità di messa a fuoco manuale.
Avvio/arresto registrazione
Premere una volta il pulsante REC / STOP per avviare la registrazione.
Premere di nuovo il pulsante REC / STOP per arrestare la registrazione.
Durante la registrazione la spia LED lampeggia
Autofocus temporaneo
Premere il pulsante per portare temporaneamente la videocamera in modalità autofocus.
Appena si rilascia il pulsante la videocamera ritorna in modalità di messa a fuoco manuale.
Questo pulsante non ha effetto se la videocamera sta già operando in modalità autofocus.

PRECAUZIONI
Tenuta all’acqua
Abbiamo dedicato la massima attenzione a rendere il controllo LANC il più possibile resistente all’acqua, compatibilmente con la possibilità di mantenere
un prezzo ragionevole.
Tuttavia non possiamo garantire una tenuta all’acqua del 100% in tutte le circostanze. Evitare l’utilizzo del controllo in condizioni ambientali estreme come
sotto la pioggia o in ambienti con umidità superiore al 95%.
Temperature elevate
Evitare temperature superiori ai +70°C. In particolare modo, non lasciare il controllo direttamente esposto a forte luce solare, come ad esempio in
un’automobile parcheggiata al sole.
Precauzioni elettriche
In ogni sistema elettronico o elettrico, i cavi sono sempre gli elementi più esposti a rischi di danneggiamento, soprattutto se sono sottoposti a sollecitazioni
meccaniche.
Per questo motivo, allo scopo di prolungare la durata del controllo e fare in modo che la “riparazione” più semplice sia anche la più economica possibile,
abbiamo reso semplice la sostituzione del cavo.
Tuttavia, per evitare il cortocircuito accidentale del connettore LANC della videocamera, occorre sempre ricordare di inserire il cavo prima dalla parte del
controllo e poi da quella della videocamera.
Vi consigliamo di non rimuovere il cavo dalla parte del controllo se non è indispensabile.

KURZANLEITUNG
Ansetzen an den Videokopf
Anmerkung: Der Schwenkarm der Fernsteuerung ist ausziehbar und kann
mit einem Knopf geklemmt werden.

Achtung: Um ein versehentliches Kurzschließen des Kamera-
LANC-Anschlusses zu vermeiden, sollte das Kabel
grundsätzlich NIE von der Fernsteuerung getrennt werden.

1. Kamera ausschalten.
2. Anderes Ende des Kabels mit der Kamera-LANC-Buchse
verbinden.
Die Fernsteuerung ist für den ausschließlichen Einsatz mit Videokameras
bestimmt, die über eine LANC-Stereobuchse 2,5 mm verfügen.
Schließen Sie die Fernsteuerung grundsätzlich NICHT an eine andere
Buchse an, die nicht durch das LANC-Logo gekennzeichnet ist.
Dies könnte zu permanenten Schäden an Fernsteuerung und/oder
Kamera führen!
Die Fernsteuerung ist als selbstständiges Steuerungssystem für
Videokameras konstruiert und nicht zum gleichzeitigen Einsatz mit
anderen LANC-Steuerungssystemen geeignet.
3. Kamera einschalten – die Fernsteuerung ist nun einsatzbereit.
Nach dem Einschalten der Kamera sollte die LED-Anzeige an der
Fernsteuerung konstant leuchten. Die zuletzt verwendete
Zoomgeschwindigkeit ist aktiv. Die aktuelle Einstellung wird durch eine
der Zoomgeschwindigkeits-LEDs angezeigt. Leuchtet die LED-Anzeige
nicht, so liegt ein Problem mit der Spannungsversorgung der
Fernsteuerung vor. Langsames Blinken der LED-Anzeige signalisiert ein
Problem mit der LANC-Verbindung. Prüfen Sie in beiden Fällen den
Anschluss des LANC-Kabels an Kamera und Fernbedienung.
Die Fernsteuerung ist für den ausschließlichen Einsatz mit Videokameras
bestimmt, die über eine LANC-Stereobuchse 2,5 mm verfügen.
Schließen Sie die Fernsteuerung grundsätzlich NICHT an eine andere
Buchse an, die nicht durch das LANC-Logo gekennzeichnet ist. Dies
könnte zu permanenten Schäden an Fernsteuerung und/oder Kamera
führen! Die Fernsteuerung ist als selbstständiges Steuerungssystem für
Videokameras konstruiert und nicht zum gleichzeitigen Einsatz mit
anderen LANC-Steuerungssystemen geeignet.

BEDIENUNG
ACHTUNG: Je nach Betriebsart der Kamera stehen möglicherweise nicht alle Funktionen zur Verfügung. So sind die Aufnahme-Start-/Stoppfunktionen zum
Beispiel in der Memory-Funktion einer Sony Kamera nicht einsatzfähig
Wahl der Zoom-Grenzgeschwindigkeit
Drücken Sie eine der Zoom-Geschwindigkeitstasten.
Unter bzw. über der betreffenden Taste sollte die entsprechende LED aufleuchten und die eingestellte Zoomgeschwindigkeit anzeigen.
Wahl der Zoomfunktion
Zur Umschaltung zwischen Festgeschwindigkeit und Progressivbetrieb drücken Sie die Zoomtaste. Jeder Tastendruck führt zur Umschaltung von
progressiv auf fest und umgekehrt. Eine LED zeigt die aktive Betriebsart an.
Individualeinstellung der Zoomgeschwindigkeit
Drehen Sie den Zoomring, und zoomen Sie mit der gewünschten Geschwindigkeit. Drücken Sie dabei die Taste für die Zoomgeschwindigkeit, die Sie
umprogrammieren möchten, etwa 1 s lang, bis die LED für niedrige Batteriespannung erlischt. Die neue Geschwindigkeitsgrenze wird im Flash-Memory
des Geräts gespeichert und ist nach jeder Einschaltung aktiv.
Die Zoomgeschwindigkeit kann jederzeit auf die Werkseinstellung zurückgesetzt werden (siehe Rückstellung der Zoomgeschwindigkeit).
Die Individualgeschwindigkeit kann praktisch unbegrenzt umprogrammiert werden (min. 1.000.000mal).
Rückstellung der Zoomgeschwindigkeit
Die drei Zoom-Geschwindigkeitstasten sind werksseitig auf die folgenden LANC-Zoomgeschwindigkeiten eingestellt:
• Zoom-Geschwindigkeitstaste 1 – Geschwindigkeit 1 (geringste verfügbare LANC-Geschwindigkeit)
• Zoom-Geschwindigkeitstaste 2 – Geschwindigkeit 3
• Zoom-Geschwindigkeitstaste 3 – Geschwindigkeit 8 (höchste verfügbare LANC-Geschwindigkeit).
Die Tasten können leicht auf die Werkseinstellung zurückgesetzt werden: Beenden Sie die Brennweitenverstellung (geben Sie die Zoom-Taste frei), und
drücken Sie eine der Tasten zur Begrenzung der Zoomgeschwindigkeit. Halten Sie die Taste ca. 1 s lang gedrückt, bis die LED-Anzeige erlischt. Damit ist
die Werkseinstellung wiederhergestellt.
Progressive Zoomgeschwindigkeit
Drehen Sie den Zoomring nach rechts (bzw. links, je nach Zoomrichtung) zur Einstellung einer längeren Brennweite. Stärkere Drehung führt zu höherer
Zoomgeschwindigkeit. Die Zoomgeschwindigkeit ist auf die von einer LED angezeigte Geschwindigkeit begrenzt.
Drehen Sie den Zoomring nach links (bzw. rechts, je nach Zoomrichtung) zur Einstellung einer kürzeren Brennweite. Je weiter der Ring gedreht wird, um
so höher die Zoomgeschwindigkeit. Die mögliche Höchstgeschwindigkeit wird von einer LED angezeigt.

Festgeschwindigkeit
Zum Zoomen auf Tele drehen Sie den Ring nach rechts (bzw. links, je nach Zoomrichtung).
Die Zoomgeschwindigkeit ist stets konstant und auf die von einer LED angezeigte Geschwindigkeit begrenzt.

Individualeinstellung der Zoomgeschwindigkeit
Zum Wechsel der Zoomrichtung halten Sie die Tasten für "Schärfe fern" und "Schärfe nah" gedrückt, bis die LED-Anzeige erlischt.
Die Tasten müssen mindestens 3 s lang gedrückt werden.

Standby
Drücken Sie die Taste einmal, um die Kamera auf Bereitschaft zu schalten.
Zur Rückschaltung auf normalen Betrieb drücken Sie die Taste erneut.
Bei ausgeschalteter Kamera hat ein Druck auf diese Taste keine Auswirkung auf die Kamera.
Schärfe nah
Muss zur Scharfeinstellung auf Nahobjekte gedrückt gehalten werden.
Funktioniert nur, solange die Kamera auf manuelle Fokussierung geschaltet ist.
Schärfe fern
Muss zur Scharfeinstellung auf Fernobjekte gedrückt gehalten werden.
Funktioniert nur, solange die Kamera auf manuelle Fokussierung geschaltet ist.
Aufnahme-Start/Stopp
Einmaliger Druck startet die Aufnahme.
Neuerlicher Druck stoppt die Aufnahme.
Die LED-Anzeige blinkt während der Aufnahme.
Die Umprogrammierung der Zoomrichtung ist praktisch unbegrenzt möglich (min. 100.000mal).
Push-Autofokus
Ein Druck auf diese Taste schaltet die Kamera auf Autofokus. Bei Freigabe der Taste schaltet die Kamera auf manuelle Fokussierung zurück.
Die Taste hat keine Wirkung, wenn die Kamera bereits auf Autofokus geschaltet ist.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Wasserdichtigkeit
Wir haben uns bemüht, die Fernsteuerung so wasserdicht wie möglich zu machen, ohne ihren Preis in die Höhe zu treiben. Dessen ungeachtet können wir
keine 100%ige Garantie für Wasserdichtigkeit unter allen Umständen übernehmen. Vermeiden Sie den Einsatz der Fernsteuerung unter erschwerten
Umweltbedingungen, wie im Regen oder bei mehr als 95% relativer Feuchtigkeit.
Hohe Temperaturen
Meiden Sie Temperaturen über +70°C. Setzen Sie die Fernsteuerung insbesondere keinem direkten, starken Sonnenlicht aus, z.B. in einem in der Sonne
geparkten Fahrzeug.
Elektrisches System
Bei jedem elektronischen System sind Kabel stets am stärksten gefährdet, weil sie bei entsprechender mechanischer Belastung brechen können.
Um die Lebensdauer des Geräts zu verlängern und das Gerät so reparaturfreundlich wie möglich zu machen, haben wir deshalb auf leichten Kabelwechsel
geachtet.
Um ein versehentliches Kurzschließen des Kamera-LANC-Anschlusses zu verhindern, sollten Sie darauf achten, dass das Kabel stets zuerst an die
Fernsteuerung angeschlossen wird.
Wir empfehlen, das Kabel nicht von der Fernsteuerung zu trennen, wenn dies nicht unbedingt nötig ist.
