1 Introduction
This operating manual contains important information regarding safety, operation and
maintenance of the device. Please read these operating instructions carefully. Always keep
this operating manual and the safety instructions in close proximity to your air purifier.
We reserve the right to make changes due to technical developments compared to the
versions shown in this operating manual. You can obtain the latest version directly from us.

You can also contact the point of sale where you purchased the product.
Warning
- Do not let water or any other liquid or flammable detergent enter the air purifier to avoid
electric shock and/or a fire hazard.
- Do not use the air purifier if the plug, the power cord, or the air purifier itself is damaged.
- This air purifier is not a substitute for proper ventilation, regular vacuum cleaning, or use of
an extractor hood or fan while cooking.
- If the power socket used to power the air purifier has poor connections, the plug of the air
purifier becomes hot. Make sure that you plug the air purifier into a properly connected
power socket.
- Do not sit or stand on the air purifier. Sitting or standing on the air purifier may lead to
potential injury.
- The air purifier does not remove carbon monoxide (CO) or radon (Rn). It cannot be used
as a safety device in case of accidents with combustion processes and hazardous chemicals.

3.1 Before Use
3.2 Usage Environment
- Remove the protective packaging of the HEPA filter element before use.
To do this, remove the filter element from the unit (see chapter 5) and then reinsert it properly.
- Before connecting the plug to a wall outlet, check that the mains voltage is correct.
Observe the information on the type plate of the device.
- If the supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, his service sta
or similarly qualified persons to avoid any danger. Do not repair the device yourself.
- Turn o the unit when cleaning or putting it away. When not in use, always unplug the device
(pull the plug itself, not the cable) and remove any accessories connected to it.
- Never operate the unit in a room where explosive gas can accumulate. There is a risk of explosion
if solvent or gasoline leaks.
- Never place burning objects (such as candles, cigarettes, etc.) near the device, otherwise there is
a risk of damage or even fire.
- Never operate the device in a room with high humidity and high ambient temperature, e.g. in a
bathroom, shower or swimming pool, toilet or kitchen, as moisture can accumulate in the device
and cause an electric shock.
- Never add aromatic oil to the filter.
- Operate the device only at room temperatures between 0°C and 40°C.
- Always place and use the air purifier on a dry, stable, level, and horizontal surface.
- Leave at least 20 cm free space behind and on both sides of the air purifier and leave at least
30 cm free space above the air purifier.
- Do not place anything on top of the air purifier.
- Do not place the air purifier directly below an air conditioner to prevent condensation from
dripping onto the air purifier.
- Do not use the air purifier in a room with major temperature changes, as this may cause
condensation inside the air purifier.
- Never place the unit directly next to stoves, other heat sources, gas appliances or fireplaces.

- Always turn the air purifier o and unplug from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
- Never immerse the air purifier in water or any other liquid.
- Never use abrasive, aggressive, or flammable cleaning agents such as bleach or alcohol to
clean any part of the air purifier. The air purification filter is not washable nor vacuum cleanable.
- Do not attempt to clean the filter or air quality sensor with a vacuum ( if a sensor is available).
- Regularly clean the inside and outside of the air purifier to prevent dust from collecting.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to clean both the interior and exterior of the air purifier.
- The air outlet can also be cleaned with a dry, soft cloth.
- Do not clean the air purifier with water, any other liquid, or a (flammable) detergent to avoid
electric shock and/ or a fire hazard.
- Turn o the air purifier and unplug from the wall outlet.
- Clean the air purifier and air quality sensor (if available) (see chapter ‘Cleaning’).
- Let all parts air dry thoroughly before storing.
- Wrap the filter separately in an air tight plastic bag.
- Store the air purifier and filter in a cool, dry location.
- Use a FFP2 mask and disposable gloves when replacing the filter element.
To ensure the safety of your children, please keep all packaging (plastic
bags, boxes, polystyrene, etc.) out of their reach.
The appliance may only be operated by persons (including children) with limited
sensory, mental or physical abilities and by persons unfamiliar with the Operating
Manual under the supervision of persons who are responsible for their safety
Children must not play with the device & Remote control.
Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
- Operate the unit only with the filter element inserted and the cover closed.
- Do not hesitate to unplug the appliance if the running appliance emits a bad smell.
- Unplug the device before moving it.
- Do not spray any flammable materials such as insecticides or fragrance around the
air purifier.
- Do not block the air inlet and outlet, e.g. by placing items on the air outlet or in front
of the air inlet.
- Make sure that foreign objects do not fall into the appliance through the air outlet.
- Make sure the filter is properly installed before you switch on the air purifier.
- Only use the original MANN+HUMMEL filter specially intended for this air purifier.
Do not use any other filters.
- Avoid knocking against the air purifier (the air inlet and outlet in particular) with hard objects.
- Never push objects or limbs through the air inlet or air outlet grilles!
- Do not use this air purifier when you have used indoor smoke-type insect repellents or in
places with oily residues, burning incense, or chemical fumes.
- Always unplug the air purifier after use and before cleaning, or carrying out other maintenance
or replacing the filters.
- The air purifier is only intended for household use under normal operating conditions.
- Do not move the air purifier by pulling its power cord.
- Use a FFP2 mask and disposable gloves when replacing the filter element.

The status display shows the status of the air quality in real
time.

– Blue light: light air pollution.
– Yellow light: moderate air pollution.
– Red light: severe air pollution.
Touch this button to display the set time.
– The product will switch cyclically between 1h2h3h4h

– Once the function is set, the unit will switch o at regular
intervals.
– If the function is switched o, switch it on regularly.

Filter replacement Troubleshooting
5 Filter replacement
1. Turn o the device.
2. Disconnect the power cord from the power socket.
Caution: The filter is NOT washable. Please only purchase
MANN+HUMMEL HEPA 14 original replacement filter to
ensure performance and avoid damaging the product.
3. Pleace hold the air purifier in place.
Place your fingers in the groove of the back cover and
gently pull the back cover outwards to remove it.
4. Take out the filter and wrap the used filter material in
a bag to prevent pollutants falling from filter material
in the room
Please dispose the used filter in an airtight foil bag in the
household waste. The replacement cycle of the filter is about a
year (this may vary depending on the environment of use).
5. Clean the housing thoroughly inside with a soft, lint-free
cloth.
6. Adjust the direction of the new filter to correspond to the
filter slot on the purifier, and install the filter; then hold the
door cover clasp, and align the bottom of the door cover
with the groove at the bottom of the main unit, then close
the door cover and insert it.
Please read the filter replacement operation carefully to ensure the
purification eect of the purifier.
Before cleaning the purifier system, unplug the power plug.
Keep the inside of the purifier dry to prevent damage.
If you still can‘t troubleshoot after the above inspection, please contact
the repair shop or technical service center. Do not disassemble and repair
by yourself to avoid danger and damage to the device.

The MANN+HUMMEL warranty does not apply if the product is damaged due to accidents, normal wear
and tear, or inappropriate usage.

assistance. You may also contact the retail outlet where you purchased the product.
This symbol means that this product shall not be disposed of with normal
household waste (2012/19/EU). Follow your country’s rules for the separate
collection of electrical and electronic products. Correct disposal helps
prevent negative consequences for the environment and human health.
The battery contained in the remote control of this device must be removed
before disposal and disposed of separately as a battery.

BELANGRIJK
- Laat geen water of andere vloeibare of ontvlambare reinigingsmiddelen in de
luchtreiniger komen om elektrische schokken en/of brandgevaar te voorkomen.
- Gebruik de luchtreiniger niet als de stekker, het netsnoer of de luchtreiniger
zelf beschadigd is.
- Deze luchtreiniger is geen vervanging voor goede ventilatie, regelmatig stofzuigen
of het gebruik van een afzuigkap of ventilator bij het koken.
- Als het stopcontact waardoor de luchtreiniger van stroom wordt voorzien slechte
aansluitingen heeft, zal de stekker van de luchtreiniger heet worden. Zorg ervoor dat
u de stekker van de luchtreiniger in een goed aangesloten stopcontact steekt.
- Ga niet op de luchtreiniger zitten of staan. Het zitten of staan op de
luchtreiniger kan leiden tot mogelijke verwondingen.
- De luchtreiniger verwijdert geen koolmonoxide (CO) of radon (Rn). Hij kan niet als
veiligheidsvoorziening bij ongevallen met verbrandingsprocessen en gevaarlijke chemicaliën
worden gebruikt.

3 Gebruiksinstructies
3.1 Voor gebruik
- Verwijder voor gebruik de beschermende verpakking van het HEPA-filterelement.
Verwijder hiervoor het filterelement uit het apparaat (zie hoofdstuk 5) en plaats het
daarna op de juiste wijze weer terug.
- Voordat u de stekker in het stopcontact steekt, moet u controleren of de netspanning correct is.
Neem de informatie op het typeplaatje van het apparaat in acht.
- Als het netsnoer beschadigd is, moet u het laten vervangen door MANN+HUMMEL, een door
MANN+HUMMEL geautoriseerd servicecentrum of een vergelijkbaar gekwalificeerd persoon,
om gevaar te voorkomen.
- Trek altijd de stekker van de luchtreiniger uit het stopcontact na gebruik en vóór het
reinigen, ander onderhoud of het vervangen van het filter.
3.2 Gebruikersomgeving
- Gebruik het apparaat nooit in een ruimte waar zich explosief gas kan ophopen.
- Plaats nooit brandende voorwerpen (zoals kaarsen, sigaretten e.d.) in de buurt van het
apparaat, anders bestaat het gevaar van beschadiging of zelfs brand.
- Gebruik het apparaat nooit in een ruimte met een hoge vochtigheidsgraad, bijv. in een
badkamer, douche of zwembad, aangezien vocht zich in het apparaat kan ophopen
en een elektrische schok kan veroorzaken.
- Doe nooit aromatische olie op het filter.
- Gebruik het apparaat alleen bij kamertemperaturen tussen 0°C en 40°C.
- Plaats de luchtreiniger altijd op een droge, stabiele, vlakke en horizontale ondergrond.
- Laat ten minste 20 cm vrije ruimte achter en aan weerszijden van de luchtreiniger, en
laat minstens 30 cm vrije ruimte boven de luchtreiniger.
- Plaats geen voorwerpen op de luchtreiniger.
- Plaats de luchtreiniger niet direct onder een airconditioner om te voorkomen dat
condensatiewater op de luchtreiniger druppelt.
- Gebruik de luchtreiniger niet in een kamer met grote temperatuurschommelingen,
aangezien dit condensatie binnenin de luchtreiniger kan veroorzaken.

- Trek altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact voor reiniging en onderhoud.
- Gebruik geen staalborstels of andere voorwerpen.
- Gebruik geen zuurhoudende of schurende reinigingsmiddelen.
- Reinig de behuizing met een droge doek zonder extra reinigingsmiddelen.
- Reinig de luchtreiniger niet met water, een andere vloeistof of een
(brandbaar) reinigingsmiddel om elektrische schokken en/of brandgevaar
te voorkomen.
- Dompel de motorbehuizing nooit onder in water om hem te reinigen. Dit kan tot
elektrische schokken of brand veroorzaken.
- Schakel de luchtreiniger uit en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact
(niet aan het snoer trekken)
- Reinig de luchtreiniger en de sensor (indien aanwezig)
(zie hoofdstuk “Reinigingsinstructies”)
- Laat alle onderdelen goed aan de lucht drogen voordat u het apparaat opbergt
- Verpak het filter afzonderlijk in een luchtdoorlatende plastic zak
- Bewaar de luchtreiniger en het filter in een koele, droge ruimte
- Gebruik een FFP2 masker en wegwerphandschoenen bij het vervangen van het filterelement
Om de veiligheid van uw kinderen te waarborgen, verzoeken wij u alle verpakkingen
(plastic zakken, dozen, polystyreen, enz.) buiten hun bereik te houden.
Personen die de gebruiksaanwijzing niet kennen alsmede kinderen of andere
personen met beperkte zintuiglijke, geestelijke of lichamelijke vermogens mogen
het apparaat uitsluitend gebruiken onder toezicht van, onder toezicht van personen
die verantwoordelijk zijn voor hun veiligheid. Kinderen mogen niet met het apparaat
spelen. Reiniging en onderhoud mogen niet door kinderen zonder toezicht worden
uitgevoerd.
- Gebruik het apparaat alleen met het filterelement erin en het deksel gesloten.
- Steek geen voorwerpen in de openingen van het apparaat.
- Plaats het apparaat nooit direct naast ovens of andere warmtebronnen.
- Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact als het apparaat een onaangename geur verspreidt
terwijl het in werking is.
- Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u het apparaat verplaatst.
- Spuit geen ontvlambare materialen zoals insecticiden of geurstoen rond de
luchtreiniger.
- De luchtinlaat en -uitlaat mogen niet geblokkeerd worden, bijv. door voorwerpen op de
luchtuitlaat of voor de luchtinlaat te plaatsen.
- Zorg ervoor dat er geen vreemde voorwerpen via de luchtuitlaat in het apparaat vallen.
- Zorg ervoor dat het filter goed geïnstalleerd is voordat u de luchtreiniger inschakelt.
- Gebruik alleen het speciaal voor deze luchtreiniger ontworpen originele MANN+HUMMEL
filter. Gebruik geen andere filter.
- Voorkom dat de luchtreiniger (vooral tegen de luchtinlaat en -uitlaat) met harde voorwerpen
wordt geraakt.
- Steek nooit voorwerpen of ledematen door de luchtinlaat- of luchtuitlaatroosters!
- Gebruik deze luchtreiniger niet als u binnenshuis dampende insectenwerende middelen
hebt gebruikt of op plaatsen met olieachtige resten, brandende wierookstokjes, enz. of
chemische dampen.
- Als u de luchtreiniger moet verplaatsen, moet u hem eerst loskoppelen van de stroomvoorziening.
- Verplaats de luchtreiniger niet door aan het netsnoer te trekken.
- Gebruik een FFP2-masker en wegwerphandschoenen bij het vervangen van het filterelement.

De indicator brandt rood in de standby-stand en groen
wanneer hij is ingeschakeld.

Raak deze toets aan om de slaapmodus te activeren.
– Druk op een willekeurige toets om de slaapmodus te
verlaten
– Alleen deze toets licht enigzins groen op
– In de slaapmodus draait de ventilator op niveau 1.
Deze toets geeft het ventilatorniveau aan.
– Als het apparaat is ingeschakeld, staat de functie in de
standaard automatische modus
– Als u deze toets bij het inschakelen aanraakt, zal
het ventilatorniveau groen oplichten en tussen
de niveaus 2-3-4-1 schakelen.
Raak deze toets 3 seconden lang aan om het
kinderslot in te schakelen.
– Het kinderslot kan alleen bij een actieve werking
worden ingeschakeld.
– Het lampje geeft aan dat het kinderslot is geactiveerd.
– Om het kinderslot te deactiveren, houdt u de
toets gedurende minstens 3 seconden ingedrukt.
Raak deze toets aan om de automatische modus te activeren.
– Tijdens de werking is het lampje standaard groen.
– In de automatische modus wordt het ventilatorniveau
automatisch aangepast aan de luchtindex.
Het groene lampje knippert en geeft een pieptoon om u
eraan te herinneren,
dat u het filter moet vervangen.

– Na het vervangen van het filter houdt u deze toets
3 seconden ingedrukt om het display te resetten.
In ingeschakelde toestand, realtime weergave van de
PM2.5-index, d.w.z. de statusweergave toont de status van de
luchtkwaliteit in realtime.

– Als de functie is ingesteld, schakelt het apparaat met
regelmatige tussenpozen uit.

Filtervervanging Probleemoplossing
5 Filtervervanging
1. Schakel het apparaat uit via de hoofdschakelaar.
2. Trek het netsnoer via de stekker uit het
stopcontact.
Voorzichtig: Het filter is NIET wasbaar. Koop alleen
MANN+HUMMEL HEPA 14 originele vervangingsfilters om
de werking te garanderen en
beschadiging van het product te voorkomen.
3. Houd de luchtreiniger vast. Pak de sleuf in het
achterste deksel vast en trek hem voorzichtig naar buiten.
4. Verwijder het filterelement en wikkel het gebruikte filter
in een zak om te voorkomen dat schadelijke stoen van
het filter in de kamer vallen.
Gooi het gebruikte filter in een luchtdichte foliezak bij het
huisvuil. De vervangingscyclus van het filter is ongeveer
een jaar (dit kan variëren afhankelijk van het gebruik).
5. Reinig de binnenkant van de behuizing grondig met een
zachte, pluisvrije doek.
6. Lijn het filter zo uit dat het overeenkomt met de filtersleuf
op de reiniger en plaats het filter.
Houd vervolgens de vergrendeling van de deurklep vast en
breng de onderkant van de deurklep in lijn met de gleuf
aan de onderkant van de hoofdeenheid, sluit vervolgens
de deurklep.
Lees de procedure voor het vervangen van het filter zorgvuldig door.
Trek voor de reiniging de stekker uit het stopcontact.
Houd de binnenkant van de luchtreiniger droog om beschadiging te voorkomen.
Gebruik een stofzuiger om het stof van het oppervlak te verwijderen.
Als u na de bovenstaande inspectie nog steeds niet in staat bent de problemen
op te lossen, neem dan contact op met de reparatiewerkplaats of het technisch
servicecentrum. Demonteer of repareer het apparaat niet zelf, om gevaren en
beschadigingen aan het apparaat te voorkomen.

- Låt aldrig vatten eller andra flytande eller antändliga rengöringsmedel tränga in i
luftrenaren, eftersom det kan förorsaka elstöt och/eller medföra brandrisk.
- Använd inte luftrenaren om stickproppen, nätkabeln eller luftrenaren är skadade.
- Denna luftrenare ersätter inte god ventilation och regelbunden dammsugning,
eller en köksfläkt vid matlagning.
- Om eluttaget, genom vilket luftrenaren försörjs med luft, har dåliga anslutningar,
blir luftrenarens kontakt varm. Försäkra dig om att luftrenaren är

3 Driftsanvisning
3.1 Före användning
- Ta loss HEPA-filterelementets skyddsförpackning före användning.
Ta ut filterelementet ur apparaten (se kapitel 5) och sätt i det igen på rätt håll.
- Innan du ansluter kontakten till ett eluttag måste du kontrollera att nätspänningen är rätt.
Notera uppgifterna på apparatens typskylt.
- Om nätkabeln är skadad måste du låta MANN+HUMMEL eller en av
MANN+HUMMEL auktoriserad verkstad, eller liknande kvalificerad person, byta den
för att utesluta faror.
- Dra alltid ut luftrenarens kontakt efter användning och före rengöring, andra
underhållsarbeten eller filterbyte.
3.2 Användningsmiljö
- Använd aldrig apparaten i rum där explosiva gaser kan förekomma.
- Ställ aldrig brinnande föremål (som ljus, cigaretter och liknande) i närheten av
apparaten, eftersom det medför risker för skada eller till och med utgör en brandrisk.
- Använd aldrig apparaten i rum med hög luftfuktighet, t.ex. i badrum, dusch eller
simhall, eftersom fukt kan ansamlas i apparaten och orsaka elstötar.
- Tillsätt aldrig aromatiska oljor i filtret.
- Apparaten får bara köras i rumstemperaturer mellan 0°C och 40°C.
- Ställ alltid luftrenaren på en torr, stabil, jämn och horisontell yta.
- Lämna minst 20 cm fritt utrymme både framför och bakom luftrenaren, och
minst 30 cm ovanför.
- Ställa inga föremål på luftrenaren.
- Ställ inte luftrenaren direkt under en luftkonditioneringsanläggning, eftersom
kondensvatten kan droppa ner på luftrenaren.
- Använd inte luftrenaren i rum med kraftiga temperaturväxlingar,
eftersom det kan leda till kondensation inuti luftrenaren.

- Dra alltid ut kontakten ur eluttaget före rengöring och underhåll.
- Använd inte stålborstar eller andra föremål.
- Använd inga syrahaltiga eller aggressiva rengöringsmedel.
- Rengör höljet med en torr trasa utan ytterligare rengöringsmedel.
- Rengör inte luftrenaren med vatten, andra vätskor eller
(antändligt) rengöringsmedel, eftersom det kan förorsaka elstöt och/eller medföra
brandrisk.
- Sänk aldrig ner motorhöljet i vatten för att rengöra det. Detta kan orsaka
elstöt eller brand.
- Slå från luftrenaren och dra ut kontakten ur uttaget
(dra inte i kabeln)
- Gör rent luftrenaren och sensorn (om sådan finns)
(se kapitel ”Rengöringsanvisning”)
- Låt alla delar lufttorka helt innan du ställer undan apparaten
- Packa filtret separat i en luftgenomsläpplig plastpåse
- Förvara luftrenaren och filtret på en sval och torr plats
- Använd FFP2-mask och engångshandskar när du byter filterelement
För att garantera dina barns säkerhet bör du förvara alla förpackningar
(plastpåsar, askar, frigolit osv.) utom räckhåll för dem.
Personer (inklusive barn) med begränsad sensorisk, intellektuell eller fysisk
förmåga, samt personer som inte är förtrogna med bruksanvisningen, får
endast använda apparaten under uppsikt av personer som ansvarar för deras
säkerhet. Låt inte barn leka med apparaten. Rengöring och underhåll får inte
utföras av barn utan uppsikt.
- Apparaten får bara köras med isatt filterelement och stängt hölje.
- För aldrig in några föremål i apparatens öppningar.
- Ställ aldrig apparaten bredvid öppna spisar, ugnar eller andra värmekällor.
- Dra ur kontakten om apparaten avger en dålig lukt när den körs.
- Dra ur kontakten innan du flyttar apparaten.
- Spreja inga antändliga material, som insektsmedel eller doftsprejer omkring
luftrenaren.
- Luftinloppet och luftutloppet får inte blockeras av t.ex. föremål som ligger framför dem.
- Försäkra dig om att inga främmande föremål kan falla ner i apparatens luftutlopp.
- Försäkra dig om att filtret är rätt installerat innan du slår på luftrenaren.
- Använd bara originalfilter från MANN+HUMMEL tillverkade särskilt för denna
luftrenare. Använda inga andra filter.
- Undvik att stöta emot luftrenaren med hårda föremål (särskilt mot luftinloppet och -utloppet).
- Stick aldrig in föremål eller extremiteter genom gallret i luftinloppet eller luftutloppet.
- Använd inte denna luftrenare om du har använt rökliknande insektsbekämpningsmedel inomhus,
eller på platser med oljerester, brinnande rökelsepinnar o.dyl. eller kemiska ångor.
- Om du måste flytta luftrenaren måste du först skilja den från strömförbrukningen.
- Flytta aldrig luftrenaren genom att dra i nätkabeln.
- Använd en FFP2-mask och engångshandskar när du byter filterelement.
