Installation
Step 1 –Register your SPuck
Make sure your MarCELL is registered and operating properly.
Flip your SPuck over and locate the device ID
Go to www.sensoredlife.com
Log in to your account
Select”My Devices”then on the dashboard of the desired MarCELL
click the SPuck icon
Select “Add SPuck” and follow the instructions
Step 2 –Wait for SPuck information to upload to the MarCELL
After registering the SPuck, the information will be sent to your
MarCELL unit. The LED on the front of the MarCELL will blink. This
process will take about 30 seconds and will be complete when the LED
turns back to solid green
NOTE: If your MarCELL was not plugged in when you registered the
SPuck, the new SPuck information will be automatically updated when
your MarCELL is plugged in.
Step 3 –Select a Location and Test
Place the SPuck in the location where it will be used. Press and
release the test button. The button LED will light up and flash four
times. Quickly
The SPuck will have sent a test message to the MarCELL. If the
MarCELL successfully receives this message, it will start to blink a blue
status LED for 30 seconds. If you see the blinking blue LED you will
know your MarCELL and SPuck are communicating properly
If the LED on the MarCELL is not blinking blue, please try the following

Step 4 –Place Into Service
Place the SPuck on a flat surface. If water comes in contact with either
of the water sensors, the SPuck will send an alarm to the MarCELL.
When transmitting the SPuck’s LED will flash quickly.
Once a SPuck detects the presence of water and sends the alarm
signal, it will be deactivated to preserve battery life. When the water
that caused the alarm is no longer present, the SPuck will
automatically reset after 15 minutes. You can also rearm the SPuck by
making sure the sensors are dry and pressing and releasing the test
button. When the button blinks blue your SPuck is back in service and
ready to detect water again.
NOTE: The SPucks water detection circuit is designed to be very
sensitive. If the sensors remain wet after the test button press the
SPuck will indicate this by flashing 1 short blue pulse every 5 seconds.
If you see this, please dry the sensors more thoroughly or wait a few
minutes for them to dry off. When the sensor has reset the 1 pulse
flash will stop.
Changing the battery
Turn the SPuck over so the made in the USA label is facing towards
you
Slide the back cover up ¼” – this will take a little force and you will
hear a click
Lift the back cover off
Slide the CR2025 coin cell down and replace it with the new battery. If
this is done properly you will see the button flash 4 times.
