Funktionen
Folgende Funktionen können Sie vom Lok-Handy aus
steuern:
Innerhalb der Mehrzugsteuerung:
• Fahrtrichtung und Geschwindigkeit mit einstellbarem
Regelbereich.
• Serielles oder paralleles Auslösen der Zusatzfunktio-
nen und des Lichts bei entsprechenden Lokomotiven.
• Programmieren der Lokadressen 00 – 15.
• Wahlweise mit LGB 55050/55055 ausbaubar zur Funk-
fernsteuerung.
In Verbindung mit dem analogen Fahrregler 51070:
• Fahrtrichtung und Geschwindigkeit mit einstellbarem
Regelbereich.
• Auswahlmöglichkeit verschiedener Stromkreise.
Betriebsbereit nur in Verbindung mit der LGB-Funk-
fernsteuerung 55050/55055!

Anschluss an die Mehrzugsteuerung
An dem Lok-Handy befindet sich ein Anschlusskabel mit
einem viereckigen Westernstecker am Kabelende. Die-
sen Westernstecker schließen Sie an der MZS-Zentrale
an die mit LGB-Bus markierte Buchse.
Das Batteriefach im Handy ist nur für den Funkbetrieb
mit LGB 55050/55055.
Betrieb mit dem Mehrzugsystem
Nach dem Anschließen des Lok-Handys erscheint in der
Anzeige
L x x
(xx = Lokadresse) der letzten eingestellten
Lokomotive.
Wählen der Lokadresse:
• Taste 0drücken. Anzeige zeigt
L - -
• Lokadresse zweistellig eingeben (00 – 22)
• Neue Lokadresse erscheint auf der Anzeige, z.B.
L 3
• Falls die gewählte Lokadresse von einem anderen
Regelgerät benutzt wird, leuchtet die obere Kontroll-
leuchte nicht (gilt nicht für Funkbetrieb).
Eine solche Lok kann erst dann gesteuert werden,
wenn sie freigegeben wurde. Dazu muss der andere
Fahrregler mit dieser Lok ca. 4 sec. auf Null stehen.
• Wenn eine ungültige Adresse eingegeben wird,
schaltet die Anzeige selbstständig wieder auf
L - -

Nothalt
Mit Ihrem Lok-Handy können Sie über die Taste
STOP
einen Nothalt oder eine Pause auslösen. Die Schienen
sind dann sofort stromlos. Dies wird durch das Blinken
der oberen Kontrollleuchte am Lok-Handy signalisiert
(nicht mit der Fernbedienung).
Ein weiterer Druck auf die Taste
STOP
hebt diese Unter-
brechung wieder auf. Die Lokomotiven fahren dann so
weiter, wie sie vor dem Nothalt eingestellt waren.
Bei einem Reset duch die Zentrale gehen die eingestell-
ten Fahrinformationen im Lok-Handy verloren.
Lokbeleuchtung
Über die Taste 9können Sie die Beleuchtung Ihrer Lok
ein- und auch wieder ausschalten. Voraussetzung ist,
dass Ihre Lok digitalisiert ist und dabei das Licht auf den
richtigen Schaltausgang installiert wurde.
Sonderfunktionen
Über die Tasten 1bis 8können Sie die Sonderfunk-
tionen Ihrer Loks aufrufen. Voraussetzung ist, dass Ihre
Lok digitalisiert ist und Sonderfunktionen hat.
Fahrtrichtung und Geschwindigkeit
Das Lok-Handy verfügt über zwei verschiedene
Regelarten. Nullstellung mittig und Nullstellung links.
Zwischen diesen Regelarten kann während des Betriebs
umgeschaltet werden.
Nullstellung Mitte
Schalter an der unteren Stirnseite des Lok-Handys nach
rechts stellen. Wird der Regler nach rechts gedreht,
fährt die Lokomotive vorwärts, wird nach links gedreht,
fährt sie rückwärts.
Nullstellung links
Schalter an der unteren Stirnseite des Lok-Handys nach
links stellen. Nun haben Sie den kompletten Bewe-
gungsspielraum Ihres Regelknopfes für eine Fahrtrich-
tung zur Verfügung. Um die Fahrtrichtung zu ändern, dre-
hen Sie den Regelknopf gegen Null und drehen gegen
den gefederten Anschlag.

Parallele Funktionsauslösung
Viele LGB-Lokomotiven mit Decoder onboard können die
Befehle für Lokfunktionen 1 – 8 direkt (parallel) empfan-
gen. Andere empfangen die Funktionsbefehle „seriell“
als Aneinanderreihung von „1“-Befehlen (z.B. „3“ =
„1+1+1“). Die parallele Datenübertragung ist natürlich
schneller, sie ist aber nur dann möglich, wenn alle MZS-
Komponenten auf „p“ umgestellt sind.
Um am Lok-Handy die Datenübertragung für die
eingestellte Lok auf „parallel“ umzustellen, drücken Sie
die Tasten Fund 9. Bei Verwendung von mehreren
Handys muss dies bei jedem Handy entsprechend
eingestellt werden. Drücken Sie die Tasten Fund
9nochmals, um für die eingestellte Lok wieder auf
„seriell“ umzustellen.
Die Einstellung „seriell“ oder „parallel“ bleibt für die je-
weilige Loknummer gespeichert, auch wenn das Handy
abgeschaltet wird.
Programmieren der Lokadresse
Mit dem Lok-Handy 55016 können Sie die Adressen 00
bis 15 direkt über die Zentrale programmieren:
• Alle anderen Lokomotiven oder Artikel mit Decoder
von den Gleisen entfernen
• Taste
STOP
am Handy gedrückt halten
• Gleichzeitig Reset-Taste an der Zentrale kurz drücken
• Die Anzeige am Handy zeigt
P - -
• Taste
STOP
loslassen
• Loknummer eingeben:
00 – 15 (bei alten Zentralen 00 – 07)
• ein kurzes Ruckeln der Lok zeigt an, dass der Pro-
grammiervorgang erfolgreich war.
• Erneut Taste
STOP
drücken, um den Betrieb wieder
aufzunehmen.

Betrieb mit dem Analogfahrregler 51070
Um mit dem Lok-Handy mehrere Stromkreise zu steuern,
müssen Sie nach dem Einschalten den gewünschten
Stromkreis auswählen.
Der gewählte Stromkreis wird in der Anzeige als
L x x
(xx ist die Nummer des Stromkreises) dargestellt. Um
den Stromkreis zu ändern, drücken Sie die Taste 0
, dann erscheint L - - in der Anzeige. Geben Sie die
Nummer des gewünschten Stromkreises zweistellig (01
– 08) ein. Der neu gewählte Stromkreis wird dann in der
Anzeige angezeigt.
Analogbetrieb, Betrieb mit dem Analogfahrregler
Anschluss an den analogen Fahrregler
Der Anschluss an den analogen Fahrregler kann nur
über die LGB-Funkfernsteuerung 55050/55055 erfolgen.
Das Lok-Handy wird dabei um den RC-Sender 55050
ergänzt.
Für den Einbau und Anschluss beachten Sie bitte die
Bedienungsanleitung zu 55050.
Das Batteriefach im Handy ist nur für den Funkbetrieb
mit LGB 55050/55055.

Connections to the Multi-Train Control
There is a connecting cable with a rectangular Western
Electric plug on the end on the Handheld Locomotive
Controller. This Western Electric plug goes into the
socket marked LGB-Bus on the MTS central unit.
The battery holder in the Handheld Locomotive Control-
ler is only for radio operation with the LGB 55050/55055.
Operation with the Multi-Train System
After you have connected the Locomotive Hand Cont-
roller,

(xx = locomotive address) will appear in the
display for the last locomotive used.
Selecting the locomotive address:
• Press the 0button. The display will show
L - -
.
• Enter a two-digit locomotive address (00 – 22).
• The new locomotive address will appear on the
display, example:
L 3
.
• If the locomotive address selected is in use by ano-
ther control device, the upper monitor light will not
light up (does not apply to radio operation).
Such a locomotive cannot be controlled until it is re-
leased from the other controller. To do this, the other
controller must be at zero for about 4 seconds with
this locomotive.
• When an invalid address is entered, the display over-
rides automatically L - - .

Emergency Stop
You can activate an emergency stop or a pause with the
STOP
button with your Handheld Locomotive Controller.
The rails then immediately have no current in them. This
is indicated by the blinking of the upper monitor light
on the Handheld Locomotive Controller (not with radio
remote control).
Pressing on the
STOP
button again cancels this inter-
ruption.
The locomotives will run again as they did before the
emergency stop.
When you do a reset at the central unit, the running data
set in the Locomotive Hand Controller is lost.
Locomotive Light(s)
You can turn the light(s) on your locomotive on and
off using the 9button. Your locomotive must have
been converted to digital and the light must have been
installed on the correct output on the decoder.
Auxiliary Functions
You can call up the auxiliary functions on your locomo-
tive using the 1to 8buttons. Your locomotive must
have been converted to digital and it must have auxiliary
functions.
Direction and Speed
The Locomotive Handheld Locomotive Controller has
two different types of control. Zero setting in the middle
and zero setting on the left. You can switch between
these types of control during operation.
Zero Setting in the Middle
Set the switch on the lower end of the hand controller
to the right. When the control knob is turned to the right,
the locomotive runs forward. When it is turned to the
left, the locomotive runs in reverse.
Zero Setting on the Left
Set the switch on the lower end of the Handheld
Locomotive Controller to the left. Now you have the full
range of movement from your control knob available for
a direction of travel. Turn the control knob to zero and
turn it against the spring-loaded stop in order to change
the direction.

Parallel Function Activation
Many LGB locomotives with a decoder onboard can re-
ceive commands for Locomotive Functions 1 – 8 directly
(or “parallel“). Others receive the function commands
“serially“ one after the other from “1“ commands
(example: “3“ = “1+1+1“). Parallel data transmission is
of course faster, but it is not possible if all of the MTS
components are set at “p“.
Press Buttons Fand 9in order to change the data
transmission on the Locomotive Hand Controller to
“parallel“ for the locomotive in use. When you are using
several hand controllers, this must be set accordingly on
each hand controller. Press Buttons Fand 9again to
change the locomotive in use back to “serial“.
The setting “serial“ or “parallel“ remains stored for
each locomotive number in question, even when the
hand controller is turned off.
Programming the Locomotive Address
You can program addresses 00 to 15 directly with the
55016 Handheld Locomotive Controller via the central
unit:
• Remove all other locomotives or items with a decoder
from the track.
• Hold the
STOP
button on the hand controller pressed
down.
• At the same time briey, press the Reset button on the
central unit.
• The display on the hand controller will show P - - .
• Release Button
STOP
.
• Enter the locomotive number:
00 – 15 (on older central units 00 – 07)
• Brief jerking by the locomotive indicates that the
programming procedure was successful.
• Press the
STOP
again in order to resume operation.

Operation with the 51070 Analog Locomotive Controller
Since several power circuits can be controlled with the
Locomotive Hand Controller, you must select the desired
power circuit after you have turned the controller on.
The power circuit selected is represented in the display
as L x x (xx is the number for the power circuit). Press
Button 0in order to change the power circuit;
L - -
will
then appear on the display. Enter the number for the
desired power circuit as a two-digit number (01 – 08).
The newly selected power circuit is then shown on the
display.
Analog Operation, Operation with the Analog
Locomotive Controller
Connections to the Analog Locomotive Controller
Connections to the analog locomotive controller can
only be done using the 55050/55055 LGB radio remote
control. The 55050 RC Sender must be added to the
Handheld Locomotive Controller to do this.
Please pay attention to the operating instructions for
55050 for the installation and connections.
The battery holder in the hand controller is only for the
radio operation with LGB 55050/55055.

Raccordement à la commande multitrain
Le Télécommande pour locomotive présente un câble
de raccordement dont l’extrémité est pourvue d’un con-
necteur western rectangulaire. Enfichez ce connecteur
dans la prise de la centrale SMT marquée Bus LGB.
Le compartiment à piles du Télécommande pour loco-
motive sert uniquement à l’exploitation radio avec LGB
55050/55055.
Exploitation avec le système multitrain
Après le raccordement du Télécommande pour loco-
motive, l‘écran affiche
L x x
(xx = adresse loco) de la
dernière locomotive enregistrée.
Sélection de l’adresse de la loco :
• Appuyez sur la touche 0. L’écran affiche
L - -
• Entrez l’adresse de la loco à deux positions (00 à 22).
• La nouvelle adresse loco apparaît à l’écran, par ex.
L 3
.
• Si l’adresse de loco sélectionnée est déjà utili-
sée par un autre régulateur de marche, le témoin
lumineux supérieur ne s’allume pas (non valide pour
l’exploitation radio).
Une telle loco peut être commandée uniquement
si elle a préalablement été débloquée. A cet effet,
l’autre régulateur de marche commandant cette loco
doit rester environ 4 secondes sur zéro.
• Dans le cas d’une entrée non valide, l’afchage se
réinitialise automatiquement et indique à nouveau
L - -

Arrêt d’urgence
La touche
STOP
de votre Télécommande pour locomo-
tive vous permet de déclencher un arrêt d’urgence ou
une pause. La voie est alors immédiatement mise hors
tension. Cet état est signalé par le clignotement du
témoin lumineux situé en haut du Télécommande pour
locomotive (sauf avec la télécommande).
Pour lever cet état d’urgence, appuyez à nouveau sur la
touche
STOP
.
Les locomotives repartent alors selon les paramètres
définis avant l’arrêt d’urgence. Dans le cas d’une réini-
tialisation par la centrale, les informations de roulement
enregistrées dans le Télécommande pour locomotive
sont effacées.
Eclairage de la locomotive
La touche 9permet d’activer ou de désactiver
l‘éclairage de votre loco, à condition que votre loco soit
numérisée et que l‘éclairage soit installé sur la bonne
sortie de commutation.
Fonctions spéciales
Les touches 1à 8permettent de déclencher les
fonctions spéciales de vos locomotives, à condition que
celles-ci soient numérisées et possèdent des fonctions
spéciales.
Sens de marche et vitesse
Le Télécommande pour locomotive dispose de deux mo-
des de régulation différents : Position zéro au milieu et
position zéro à gauche. Vous pouvez passer d’un mode
de régulation à l’autre durant l’exploitation.
Position zéro au milieu
Poussez le commutateur situé en bas de la face frontale
du Télécommande pour locomotive vers la droite. Si
vous tournez le régulateur vers la droite, la locomotive
roule en avant ; si vous le tournez vers la gauche, elle
roule en arrière.
Position zéro à gauche
Poussez le commutateur situé en bas de la face frontale
du handy vers la gauche. Vous disposez à présent de
toute la marge de manœuvre de votre bouton de régula-
teur pour un seul sens de marche. Pour inverser le sens
de marche, tournez le bouton du régulateur vers le zéro
et contre la butée à ressort.

Déclenchement de fonctions en parallèle
De nombreuses locomotives LGB avec décodeur embar-
qué peuvent recevoir les ordres pour les fonctions loco
1 à 8 directement (ou «en parallèle»). D’autres reçoivent
les ordres de fonction «en série» ou juxtaposition
d’ordres «1» (par ex. «3» = «1+1+1»). La transmission
parallèle de données est naturellement plus rapide, mais
elle n’est possible que si tous les composants SMT sont
paramétrés sur «p».
Pour commuter le Loco-Handy en mode de transmission
«parallèle» pour la locomotive enregistrée, appuyez sur
les touches Fet 9. Si vous utilisez plusieurs Handys,
renouvelez l’opération sur chacun d‘eux. Pour repasser
en mode de transmission «série» pour la loco enregist-
rée, appuyez à nouveau sur les touches Fet 9.
Le mode «parallèle» ou «série» reste enregistré pour
le numéro de locomotive correspondant, même si vous
éteignez le Handy.
Programmation de l’adresse de loco
Le Télécommande pour locomotive 55016 permet de
programmer les adresses 00 à 15 directement via la
centrale :
• Retirez de la voie toutes les autres locomotives ou
articles avec décodeur
• Maintenez la touche
STOP
du Handy enfoncée
• Dans le même temps, appuyez brièvement sur la
touche reset de la centrale
•
L’écran du Télécommande pour locomotive affiche
P - -
• Relâchez la touche
STOP
• Entrez le numéro de loco:
00 à 15 (00 à 07 pour des centrales moins récentes)
• Un léger soubresaut de la loco indique que le proces-
sus de programmation a réussi.
• Appuyez à nouveau sur la touche
STOP
afin de
reprendre l’exploitation.

Exploitation avec le régulateur de marche
analogique 51070
Le Télécommande pour locomotive permettant de com-
mander plusieurs circuits, vous devez dès l’allumage
sélectionner le circuit souhaité.
Le circuit sélectionné est représenté à l’écran par L x x
(xx correspond au numéro de circuit). Pour changer de
circuit, appuyez sur la touche 0; l’écran affiche alors
L - -

Le raccordement au régulateur de marche analogique
peut se faire uniquement via la radiotélécommande LGB
55050/55055. A cet effet, le Télécommande pour locomo-
tive doit être équipé de l’émetteur RC 55050.
