INSTALLATION OF THE SHREDDER:
For information on installing the shredder, please refer to
the separate installation instructions provided.
MOUNTING THE TABLE (10) (fig. 1, 2, 3):
1. Remove the 3 screws from the housing front panel (9),
as well as the 3 screws from the front of the conveyor
belt retainer (13).
2. Set the table (10) onto the conveyor belt retainer (13),
push it all the way back to the housing (9) and secure it
to the housing front panel and the front of the conveyor
belt retainer with the previously removed screws (fig. 1,
2 and 3).
MOUNTING THE GUARD PANELS (11) (fig. 4):
1. Remove the 2 screws from the left and right-hand housing
side panels.
2. Secure the two guard panels (11) to the left and right-
hand housing side panels with the 4 previously removed
screws, and to the table (10) with the 4 separately included
screws, nuts and spring-type lock washers.
Note: If required, the width of the table can be enlarged through
the use of two angle guards (15) (fig. 5) instead of the two
guard plates (11) (fig. 4) (see also “ACCESSORIES”).
INSTALLATION OF THE HOPPER (16) (fig. 6):
1. Release the transport lock (binder) on the outlet flap
(25) and fold the flap down.
2. Take the hopper (16) out of the press compartment, as
shown, place over the filler opening and fix to the press
from inside with the aid of the 7 hexagon socket screws
M6x12.
3. Remove the brush strip (41) from the hopper (16) (undo 2
screws) and fix to the hopper again after turning through
180° (brush tilted towards press compartment).
4. Remove both switch covers (43). Undo the threaded pin
(44) on the switch cam (42) of the switch flap (40) and
remove the switch cam. Take out the switch flap (40),
insert into the openings for the switch position in the
hopper (16) above it and fix there again.
5. Fix the limit switch S8 (18) with 2 screws M4x40 and
nuts M4 below the switch cam of the switch flap (40).
Undo the threaded pin (44) (Allen key 2.5 mm), turn the
cam into position and tighten the threaded pin again.
Attention: the switch cam must be turned in such a
way that with the switch flap hanging straight down, the
switch pin of the switch is situated in the recess of the
switch cam.
6. Fix the limit switch S9 (22) with 2 screws M4x40 and
nuts M4 under the switch cam of the cover flap (17).
Undo the threaded pin (44) (Allen key 2.5mm), turn the
cam into position and tighten the threaded pin again.
Attention: the switch cam must be turned so that when
the cover flap is closed, the switch pin of the switch is
situated in the recess of the switch cam.
7. Position the two switch covers (43) over the limit
switches and fix each to the hopper with two screws
M5x16 and nuts M5.
ASSEMBLY OF THE COMBINATION (fig. 7, 8 and 9):
1. Push the baler under the shredder. Screw the shredder
and the baler together with the aid of the two fixing
brackets (23) provided with the shredder (fig. 7).
2. Fix the chain end of the limit switch lock (20) supplied
with the baler to the sub-frame of the shredder (21) in
the hole provided (fig. 8).
3. Insert the actuator (special key) of the limit switch lock
(20) into the limit switch on the baler (fig. 8).
4. Insert the connection plug of the baler into the socket
(19) on the right-hand side of the inner housing wall of
the shredder and lock (fig. 9).
5. Turn the locking lever (27) (fig. 7) through 180° and
screw on the knob provided.
6. Lift the outlet flap up, attach the locking lever to the flap
and push back with the flap attached.
INSTALLING THE STRAP ROLLS (30) (Fig. 10):
Remove the strap rolls (30), the strap roll holder (29) and
accessories (strap lifter, pull cable and screws) from the
baling chamber and insert the strap roll holder into the
corresponding opening in the baler as shown. Place the left
and right-hand strap rolls onto the strap roll holder with the
strap ends pointing down.
The remainder of the procedure is described on page 6 and
7, ”BALER OPERATION”, under the heading ”Replacing the
Strap Rolls” and ”Inserting the Straps for a New Bale”.
