Electronic muscle stimulator

AST-300H

Product description

The AST-300H Electronic muscle stimulator is designed to contract and relax the muscles in

the feet and throughout the body. Contracting and relaxing the muscles helps to accelerate

the blood circulation and alleviate pain, swelling, fatigue, pain and other symptoms.The AST-

300H has 50 dierent treatment programs and a 25 minute automatic timer function.

The lifetime of the product is 5 years.This depends on the electronic ageing. Do not use the

product when it is not working properly. Contact your local dealer.

Intended use

This product is intended to be used as an electronic muscle stimulator.

The product is intended for use in household environments for typical housekeeping functions

that may also be used by non-expert users for typical housekeeping functions, such as: shops,

oces other similar working environments, farm houses, by clients in hotels, motels and

other residential type environments and/or in bed and breakfast type environments.

This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with a reduced physical,

sensory or mental capability, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been

given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product by a person responsible for

their safety.

This product is intended for indoor use only.

This product is not intended for professional use.

Safety instructions

WARNING

• Do not use the product if the user has a cardiac pacemaker without doctors consent.

• Do not use the product if the user has implanted medical devices without doctors

consent.

• Do not operate the product close (e.g. 1 m) to a shortwave and/or microwave

frequencies.This may produce instability in the output of the stimulator.

• Do not operate the product if the user has a tumour, a chronic disease, a heart disease, is

pregnant or mentally instable.

• Do not touch the electrode pads with metal substances, such as straps, watches,

necklaces, when the product is switched on.

• Clean the skin before using the electrode pads.

• Do not use the machine in wet environments, such as a bathroom.

• Do not use the product with transducers, accessories and cables of other manufacturers.

• Do not sit or stand on top of the product.

• Stop to use the product if the user experiences discomfort and nausea when using.

• Do not apply electrodes near the thorax. This may increase the risk of cardiac brillation.

• Products must be disconnected from their power supply during cleaning or maintenance.

• If the adapter and/or power cord are broken, buy a new adapter with the same

specications.

• Disconnect the product from its power source before service and when replacing parts.

• Keep the product and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.

• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.

• Do not dismantle, open or shred secondary cells or batteries.

• Do not expose cells or batteries to heat or re. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.

• Do not short-circuit a cell or a battery.

• Do not store cells or batteries haphazardly in a box or drawer where they may

short-circuit each other or be short-circuited by other metal objects.

• Do not remove a cell or battery from its original packaging until required for use.

• Do not subject cells or batteries to mechanical shock.

• In the event of a cell leaking, do not allow the liquid to come in contact with the skin or

eyes. If contact has been made, wash the aected area with copious amounts of water

and seek medical advice.

• Do not use any charger other than that specically provided for use with the equipment.

• Observe the plus (+) and minus (–) marks on the cell, battery and equipment and

ensure correct use.

• Do not use any cell or battery which is not designed for use with the equipment.

• Do not mix cells of dierent manufacture, capacity, size or type within a device.

• Battery usage by children should be supervised.

• Seek medical advice immediately if a cell or a battery has been swallowed.

• Always purchase the battery recommended by the device manufacturer for the

equipment.

• Keep cells and batteries clean and dry.

• Wipe the cell or battery terminals with a clean dry cloth if they become dirty.

• Secondary cells and batteries need to be charged before use. Always use the correct

charger and refer to the manufacturer’s instructions or equipment manual for proper

charging instructions.

• Do not leave a battery on prolonged charge when not in use.

• After extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the cells

or batteries several times to obtain maximum performance.

• Retain the original product literature for future reference.

• Use only the cell or battery in the application for which it was intended.

• When possible, remove the battery from the equipment when not in use.

• Dispose of properly.

CAUTION

• Read the instructions before using the product.

• Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.

• Contact the manufacturer or the local dealer in case of the product not working properly.

Notes

• The original accessories, detachable parts and material are approved by standards.

• Use this device away (minimal distance of 500 mm) from devices which cause high

frequency electromagnetism and microwave radiation.

Use

Inserting batteries in the remote control

1. Open the battery cover.

2. Place 2 AAA batteries in the battery compartment.

3. Close the battery cover.

Using the electrode silicone area for feet

Before use, check if the MODE intensity level is on the display.The SOLE intensity level is on

the display. The time is on the display.

4The mode can be changed while the product is in use.The intensity will be reset when

the mode is changed during use.

4Adjust the intensity gradually from a lower to a higher intensity.

1. Place your feet on the electrode silicone area for feet.

2. Press the on/o button for 3 seconds to switch on the product.

3. Press MODE + and MODE - to select dierent modes. See Using the available modes

for a complete list.

4. Press SOLE + to increase the intensity. Press SOLE - to decrease the intensity.

5. Press the on/o button for 3 seconds to switch o the product or terminate the massage

early.

Using the electrode pads

Do not stick two electrode pads to each other.

Keep the electrode pads away from high temperature and direct sunshine.

Do not touch the electrode pads with your ngers.

Do not clean the electrode pads with hot water or any other aggressive chemical

cleaning agents.

4Keep the electrode pads clean.

4Protect the electrode pads by reattaching the protective membrane after use.

4Replace the electrode pads if not been used for a year.

1. Connect the electrode wire to the electrode pads.

2. Connect the electrode wire to the electric muscle stimulator.

3. Remove the protective membrane of the electrode pads.

4. Attach the electrode pads steadily to the skin. See Placement of the electrode pads

for examples.

5. Press the on/o button for 3 seconds to switch on the product.

6. Adjust the mode and intensity if desired.

Placing the electrode pads

• Place the electrode pads on the shoulder and/or back when shoulder and/or back muscle

ache occurs. See image 4 for a few examples of the electrode pads placement.

• Place the electrode pads on the waist when waist muscle ache occurs. See image 5 for a

few examples of the electrode pads placement.

• Place the electrode pads on the arm when arm numbness and/or arm muscle ache

occurs. See image 6 for a few examples of the electrode pads placement.

• Place the electrode pads on the leg when leg muscle ache occurs. See image 7 for a few

examples of the electrode pads placement.

Maintenance

Products must be disconnected from their power supply during cleaning or maintenance.

• Clean the product after each use.

• Wipe the machine with a wet cloth or neutral cleanser.

• Wipe the electrode pads with a wet cloth if the electrode pads are insuciently adhesive

or dirty. If this does not help, replace the electrode pads.

• Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid or acetone when

cleaning the product.

Storage

• Store the product away from magnetic elds.

• Store the product out of reach from children.

• Store the product away from moisture, high temperatures, direct sunlight and sprinkling

water.

• Remove the batteries from the controller when the product is not used for a long time.

AST-300H

Productomschrijving

De AST-300H elektronische spierstimulator is ontworpen om de spieren van de voeten en de

rest van het lichaam aan te spannen en te ontspannen. Het aanspannen en ontspannen van

de spieren helpt de bloedcirculatie te verbeteren en verlicht pijn, zwelling, vermoeidheid

en andere symptomen. De AST-300H heeft 50 verschillende behandelprogramma's en een

automatische timerfunctie van 25 minuten.

De levensduur van het apparaat is 5 jaar. Dit is afhankelijk van de veroudering van de

elektronische onderdelen. Gebruik het apparaat niet wanneer het niet goed functioneert.

• Houd het apparaat en het snoer buiten bereik van kinderen jonger dan 8 jaar.

• Houd toezicht op kinderen om te zorgen dat ze niet met het apparaat spelen.

• Raadpleeg onmiddellijk een arts als een cel of batterij is ingeslikt.

• Koop altijd de batterij die is aanbevolen door de fabrikant van het apparaat.

• Houd cellen en batterijen schoon en droog.

• Veeg vuil op de cel- of batterijpolen af met een schone droge doek.

• Secundaire cellen en batterijen moeten vóór gebruik zijn opgeladen. Gebruik altijd de

correcte lader en raadpleeg de instructies van de fabrikant of de handleiding van het

• Laat een batterij niet onnodig lang opladen wanneer deze niet in gebruik is.

• Als cellen of batterijen langere tijd niet gebruikt zijn, kan het nodig zijn om ze een aantal

WAARSCHUWING

• Gebruik het apparaat niet zonder toestemming van een arts als de gebruiker een

pacemaker draagt.

• Gebruik het apparaat niet zonder toestemming van een arts als de gebruiker medische

hulpmiddelen geïmplanteerd heeft.

• Bedien het apparaat niet in de buurt van (bijv. 1 m) korte en/of lange microgolf-

frequenties. Dit kan leiden tot instabiliteit in de uitgangsspanning van de stimulator.

• Bedien het apparaat niet als de gebruiker een tumor, chronische ziekte of een

hartaandoening heeft, zwanger is of geestelijk labiel is.

• Raak de elektrodeplakkers niet aan met metalen substanties zoals bandjes, horloges en

halskettingen wanneer het apparaat is ingeschakeld.

Onderhoud

Tijdens reinigen of onderhoud moeten apparaten zijn losgekoppeld van hun stroomtoevoer.

• Reinig het apparaat na elk gebruik.

• Neem de machine af met een natte doek of neutraal reinigingsmiddel.

• Neem de elektrodeplakkers af met een natte doek wanneer de elektrodeplakkers niet

goed genoeg plakken of vuil zijn. Helpt dit niet, vervang de elektrodeplakkers dan.

• Gebruik geen agressieve chemische reinigingsmiddelen zoals ammoniak, zuur of aceton

om het apparaat te reinigen.

Opslag

• Bewaar het apparaat uit de buurt van magnetische velden.

• Bewaar het apparaat buiten bereik van kinderen.

• Bewaar het apparaat uit de buurt van vocht, hoge temperaturen, direct zonlicht en

waterspetters.

• Verwijder de batterijen uit de afstandsbediening wanneer het apparaat voor langere tijd

Aanwijzing ter bescherming van het milieu

Uw apparaat is geproduceerd met kwalitatief hoogwaardige materialen en

onderdelen welke gerecycled en opnieuw gebruikt kunnen worden. Aan het einde

van de levensduur kan dit apparaat niet afgevoerd worden met het normale huishoudafval.

Breng het apparaat naar een speciaal ophaalpunt voor het recyclen van elektrische en

elektronische apparatuur. Dit wordt aangegeven in de handleiding en op de verpakking

middels de afvalcontainer met kruis. De gebruikte grondstoen zijn geschikt voor recycling.

Met het hergebruik van gebruikte apparaten of grondstoen levert u een belangrijke

bijdrage aan de bescherming van ons milieu. Informeer bij uw lokale overheid naar het

dichtstbijzijnde inzamelpunt.

Siliconen elektrodengebied voor de voeten gebruiken

Controleer vóór gebruik of de intensiteit van MODE op het display wordt weergeven.

De intensiteit van SOLE wordt op het display weergegeven. De tijd wordt op het display

weergeven.

4De modus kan aangepast worden tijdens gebruik van het apparaat. De intensiteit wordt

gereset wanneer de modus tijdens gebruik wordt veranderd.

4Pas de intensiteit geleidelijk aan van een lagere naar hogere intensiteit.

1. Plaats uw voeten op het siliconen elektrodengebied voor de voeten.

2. Druk 3 seconden op de aan-uitknop om het apparaat in te schakelen.

3. Druk op MODE + en MODE - om verschillende modi te selecteren. Zie De beschikbare

modi gebruiken voor een volledige lijst.

4. Druk op SOLE + om de intensiteit te verhogen. Druk op SOLE - om de intensiteit te

verlagen.

5. Druk 3 seconden op de aan-uitknop om het apparaat uit te schakelen of de massage

eerder af te breken.

De elektrodeplakkers gebruiken

Plak geen twee elektrodeplakkers aan elkaar.

Houd de elektrodeplakkers weg van hoge temperaturen en direct zonlicht.

Raak de elektrodeplakkers niet aan met uw vingers.

Reinig de elektrodeplakkers niet met heet water of agressieve chemische

reinigingsmiddelen.

4Houd de elektrodeplakkers schoon.

4Bescherm de elektrodeplakkers door het beschermende membraan na gebruik terug

te plaatsen.

4Vervang de elektrodeplakkers wanneer ze een jaar lang niet zijn gebruikt.

1. Koppel het elektrodesnoer aan de elektrodeplakkers.

2. Koppel het elektrodesnoer aan de elektrische spierstimulator.

3. Verwijder het beschermende membraan van de elektrodeplakkers.

4. Bevestig de elektrodeplakkers stevig aan de huid. Zie Plaatsing van

elektrodeplakkers voor voorbeelden.

5. Druk 3 seconden op de aan-uitknop om het apparaat in te schakelen.

6. Pas naar wens de modus en intensiteit aan.

De elektrodeplakkers plaatsen

• Plaats de elektrodeplakkers op de schouder en/of rug bij pijn in de schouder- en/of

rugspieren. Zie afbeelding 4 voor een aantal voorbeelden van het plaatsen van de

elektrodeplakkers.

• Plaats de elektrodeplakkers op de taille bij pijn aan de taillespieren. Zie afbeelding 5 voor

een aantal voorbeelden van het plaatsen van de elektrodeplakkers.

• Plaats de elektrodeplakkers op de arm bij gevoelloosheid en/of pijn in de armspieren. Zie

afbeelding 6 voor een aantal voorbeelden van het plaatsen van de elektrodeplakkers.
