Parts that have to be removed for servicing should be

10) Installationandanyrepairstothisapplianceshouldbedone
by an authorised service person. An authorised service

Makeitapracticetohaveallofyourgasapplianceschecked
annually.
11) Do not strike the glass door.
12) Under no circumstances should any solid fuels (wood,
paper,cardboard,coal, etc.)beusedinthis appliance.

tible materials, (gases and other flammable vapours and
liquids).

MORE FREQUENT CLEANING MAY BE REQUIRED
DUE TO EXCESSIVE LINT FROM CARPETING, BED-
DING MATERIAL, ETC. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT CON-
TROL COMPARTMENTS, BURNERS AND CIRCULAT-
INGAIRPASSAGEWAYSOFTHEAPPLIANCEBEKEPT
CLEAN.
DUE TO HIGH TEMPERATURES, THE APPLIANCE
SHOULD BE LOCATED OUT OF TRAFFIC AND AWAY
FROM FURNITURE AND DRAPERIES.

in accordance with local codes, or in the absence of local
codeswiththecurrentNationalElectricalCode, AS3100
3) Seegeneralconstructionandassemblyinstructions.
4) Thisappliancemustbeconnectedtoaflueandterminateto
theoutsideofthebuildingenvelope.Neverfluetoanother
roomorinsideabuilding.
5) Inspectthefluesystemannuallyforblockageandanysigns
ofdeterioration.
6) Any safety glass removed for servicing must be replaced
priortooperatingtheappliance.
7) Topreventinjury,donotallowanyonewhoisunfamiliarwith
theoperationtousethefireplace.
Before leaving this unit with the customer, the installer must
ensure that the appliance is firing correctly and operation fully
explained to customer.
