Thank you for purchasing the Comfy. Before you start using the M E - A 5 1
Comfy, please read this operation manual thoroughly for the correct meth-
ods of usage, especially taking note of the section on Safety.
This manual should be kept on hand for easy reference. It is your guide to a
safe and efficient operation.

1. Usage Environment
• Do not use the ME-A51 Comfy in an excessively humid or dusty
environment as this may result in malfunction or electric shock.
• Do not expose the ME-A51 Comfy to heaters, stoves or direct
sunlight.
• Place and use the ME-A51 Comfy on an even, non-slip floor.
• The ME-A51 Comfy is designed for home use and not for
commercial purposes.
Caution
• If you use the ME-A51 Comfy in a cold room, do not increase
the room temperature abruptly. It is recommended that you
increase the temperature gradually to a normal level.
• If the ME-A51 Comfy is stored in a cold place, and is being
brought into a warm environment, it is advisable to wait one
hour before use. This is because its performance may not be
at optimum performance, as there may be water droplets on
mechanical parts due to condensation. Using it under such
condition may result in malfunction.
2. People with Medical Conditions
Consult your doctor before use if you:
• have a serious medical conditions such as cancer, osteoporosis,
skin disease, heart disease, etc.
• have an electronic medical device in you body, such as a
pacemaker.
• have a high fever.
• are pregnant or menstruating.
• are receiving medical care or are feeling unwell.
• wish to use the ME-A51 Comfy on parts of the body which have
been previously treated, due to injury or sickness, or have eczema.
• are experiencing undue pain on any parts of the body before using
the ME-A51 Comfy.
• have joint dysfunction such as rheumatism, hammer toe and gout.

3. Safety Precautions During Use
• To ensure the safe and correct use of the ME-A51 Comfy, do not
operate it without carefully reading this operation manual.
• Use the ME-A51 Comfy only for its intended use as described in
this manual.
• Do not use the ME-A51 Comfy when the fabric cover is torn.
• Do not let children, or adults who need supervision to operate
the ME-A51 Comfy. Keep the ME-A51 Comfy out of reach from
children.
• Do not stand or sit on the ME-A51 Comfy. Use the ME-A51 Comfy
only while seated.
• Do not insert any object, or flammable material into the main body
as this may result in electric shock, malfunction or risk of fire.
• Do not use the ME-A51 Comfy during the one hour period before
and after consumption of food.
• Do not exert excessive pressure when using the ME-A51 Comfy as
this may result in injury or malfunction.
• Do not cover the NME-A51 Comfy during use. This may result in a
rise in motor temperature and subsequent malfunction or risk of
fire.
• Do not unplug or switch off the ME-A51 Comfy during use as this
may result in injury.
• Some level of noise during usage is normal because of the
vibration function.
• Avoid using the ME-A51 Comfy when drunk or not feeling well.
Note
• The suggested usage time is 15 minutes.
• The ME-A51 Comfy is to be used indoors only.

4. Instances When the ME-A51 Comfy Should Not Be Used
In the following events, please switch off the power immediately,
disconnect power cord from the electrical outlet and contact the
MASSE Service Centre for servicing:
• If water is accidentally spilled onto the ME-A51 Comfy. This may
result in electric shock or malfunction.
• If abnormal or severe pain is felt during massage, stop usage
immediately and consult your doctor.
• If you detect any malfunction or any other abnormally condition
during use.
• If there is a power failure, injury may occur when the power is
restored unexpectedly.
• If there is lightning.
5. Assembly and Repair of the ME-A51 Comfy
• Do not remove the cover of the ME-A51 Comfy. Touching the
internal components may result in electric shock or malfunction.
• The ME-A51 Comfy must only be serviced or repaired by the MASSE
Service Centre. User must not attempt to disassemble or repair the
ME-A51 Comfy.
6. Things to Note About the Power Plug and Cord
• Check that the voltage corresponds with the specifications
indicated for the ME-A51 Comfy (only for Alternative Current).
• Do not disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet roughly.
• Do not connect or disconnect the power plug from the electrical
outlet with wet hands as this may result in malfunction or electric
shock.
• When disconnecting the power plug, pull it by holding the plug,
not by the cord.
• Although the ME-A51 Comfy will be stopped automatically by the
Auto-Timer function, it is recommended that the Main Switch is
turned off after every use.
• Do not place the power cord under the ME-A51 Comfy or any other
heavy objects.

• Do not coil the power cord around the ME-A51 Comfy as this may
damage the cord and result in a possible risk of fire or electric
shock.
• Do not operate the ME-A51 Comfy with a damaged cord or
tampered cord.
• Do not use the ME-A51 Comfy if the electrical outlet is excessively
loose.
• Do not carry the ME-A51 Comfy by the power cord or use it as a
handle.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the MASSE
Service Centre or its authorised service agents.

Features
• An entirely new leg massager specially designed for massage on

ankles and calves to give you the most relaxing and revitalising
massage experience.

cater to your massage preferences.

• There are 3 massage programmes and 2 vibration modes.
• 3 levels of massage intensity for your desired selection (Lo, Med, Hi).
• Strategically located control panel allows you to easily change
programmes or adjust intensity.

• A pair of detachable fabric cover (with zip) to allow for easy
cleaning.

• The kneading and vibratory massage go deep into the different

3. To Start the Air Massage
• Place the lower section of your legs into the fabric-covered slots.
• Press the [ ] button and the default massage will be at ‘I’
(Rhythmic 1).
• Press the [ ] button again, and the massage will switch to ‘II’
(Rhythmic 2).
• Press the [ ] button again, and the massage will switch to ‘III’
(Rhythmic 3).
• Press the [ ] button again to stop the massage or press the [ ]
button on the control panel at anytime to stop the massage.
• Press the [ ] button to select your desired massage intensity
between ‘Lo’, ‘Mid’ and ‘Hi’.
1. To Switch On the Power
• Connect the ME-A51Comfy’s power plug to the electrical outlet.
• To switch on the ME-A51Comfy, press the Main Switch located at
the back of the ME-A51Comfy. Then press the [ ] and the LED
Power Indicator will be illuminated.
2. To Orientate the ME-A51Comfy
• Depending on your sitting position, you can choose to pull out the
supporting stand to suit your massaging needs as shown in the
picture below.

4. To Start the Vibration Massage
• Place the lower section of your legs into the fabric-covered slots.
• Press the [ ] button and the default massage will be at ‘Lo’ and
you will see the Vibration LED Indicator flash.
• Press the [ ] button again, and the massage will switch to ‘Hi’.
• Press the [ ] button again to stop vibration massage or press the
[ ] button on the control panel at anytime to end the vibration
massage.
Experience both the squeezing and vibration massages at the same time
by pressing the [ ] button, followed by [ ] button or vice versa.

Caution
• Do not stand on, or exert excessive pressure on the ME-A51
Comfy
• Auto shut-off feature will set in after 15 minutes of massage.
• The total recommended usage time of the ME-A51 Comfy is
15 minutes.
• Press the [ ] button to end the massage if any discomfort is felt.

Note
• Some users may experience itchiness on their feet during and
after the massage. This is an acclimatisation effect of the body
to the vibrating massage and the result of improved blood
circulation.

1. Storage of the ME-A50 Comfy
• When not in use for a long period of time, it is advisable that the
power cord of the ME-A50 Comfy be coiled and the ME-A50 Comfy
stored in a dust and moisture-free environment.
• Do not store the ME-A50 Comfy near intense heat or under direct
sunlight.
2. Cleaning the ME-A50 Comfy
• Be sure to remove the power plug from the electrical outlet before
cleaning the ME-A50 Comfy.
• Do not use benzene, thinner or any other abrasive solvent on the
ME-A50 Comfy.
• Use only a dry cloth when cleaning the ME-A50 Comfy. Never use
a damp cloth to clean the ME-A50 Comfy
• When necessary, detach the fabric covers for cleaning to maintain
good hygiene.
• The mechanism of the ME-A50 Comfy is specially designed and
constructed to be maintenance-free. No periodic lubrication or
servicing is required.
