1. Einleitende Information
Das Kesselfeuermodul sorgt mit 2
LED‘s (orange und rot) für ein rea-
listisches Flackern eines Kohle- oder
Holzfeuers. Das Modul kann direkt
in den Stehkessel einer Dampok
eingebaut werden. Es eignet sich
aber auch als Lagerfeuer- oder
Kaminsimulation. Der Anschluss
erfolgt über Lötanschlüsse.

2. Wichtige Informationen zur
Inbetriebnahme
Das Kesselfeuer kann direkt am
Gleis mit Gleich- , Wechsel- oder
Digitalspannung betrieben werden.
Eine Polarität ist nicht zu beachten.
2.1 Anschluss
Die Beschaltung des Kesselfeuers
sehen Sie in Abbildung 1. Weitere
Anschlusshinweise nden sie in
Kapitel 3 dieser Anleitung.
1. General Information
Using only two LEDs (orange and red)
the eMOTION rebox light simulates
realistically the ickering light of a
wood or coal re. This module may be
installed directly behind the re door
of a steam locomotive. The eMOTION
rebox light may also serve as a camp
re or replace simulation. Two solder
pads are provided for the hook-up.

2. Important information
The eMOTION rebox light may be oper-
ated with AC, DC or DCC power. The
module is not polarity sensitive.
2.1 Hook-up
Please nd the wiring diagram in
illustration 1 below. Additional wiring
diagrams are shown in chapter 3.

2.2 Einbau
Das Kesselfeuer sollte mit 2 Schrau-
ben oder doppelseitigem Klebeband
sicher befestigt werden. Achten Sie
darauf, dass es keinen Kurzschluss
mit Metallteilen in der Lok gibt.
Wenn nötig, können die Befesti-
gungslaschen entfernt werden.
Für einen noch besseren Flacker-
effekt kann man den beiliegenden
Reektor ankleben. Vor der Montage
des Reektors müssen die schwar-
zen Distanzröhrchen an den LEDs
mit einem Seitenschneider entfernt
werden. Danach können Sie den Re-
ektor mit etwas Sekundenkleber auf
der Unterseite des Reektors mittig
zwischen den 2 LEDs befestigen.
2.2 Installation
The rebox light is installed with either
two screws or double-sided tape. Make
sure to avoid any short circuits caused
by metal parts of the locomotive. The
mounting straps may be removed if
necessary. For an even better icker
effect you can stick on the enclosed
reector. Before mounting the reector,
the black spacer tubes on the LEDs
must be removed with a side cutter.
Then you can x the reector with
some superglue on the underside of
the reector in the middle between the
2 LEDs.

3. Erweiterte Möglichkeiten
3.1 Anschluss eines Puffers
Das Kesselfeuer verfügt nicht
über interne Pufferkondensatoren.
Um eine stabilere Spannung zu
erzeugen, können Sie an „+“ und „-“
Kondensatoren (z.B. 470µF / mind.
25V) anschließen. Wenn Sie den
Massoth-Spannungspuffer verwen-
den, verbinden sie „Rot“ mit „+“
sowie „Schwarz+Weiß“ mit „-“.
Achten Sie beim Anschluß von Puf-
ferkondensatoren unbedingt auf die
Polarität, bei Verpolung besteht
Explosionsgefahr!
3. Additional applications
3.1 Hook-up of an additional buffer
The eMOTION rebox light does not
come with a power buffer (capacitor).
You may connect capacitors (e.g. 470µF
/ min. 25Volts) to “+” and “-“to improve
the power stabilization. In case you use
the Massoth power buffer connect the
red wire to “+” and the black and white
wires to “-“.
Warning: You must connect the capaci-
tors in the correct polarity. Danger of
explosion if connected with inverted
polarity!
