The Bike Rack comes in three sections as shown in Fig. 1.
Assemble the three sections to become one unit.
1. Place the flat plate sections of two Bike Rack Runners side by side. One should
overlap the other to form a square hole. (The one of top will be the center section.)
2. Insert one of the carriage bolts from underneath. Secure with one of the locking nuts.
3. Place the third Bike Rack Runner underneath the center section to form a square hole.
Insert one of the carriage bolts from underneath. Secure with one of the locking nuts.
4. Place bike rack into the HITCH-HAUL® platform as shown in Fig. 2. Secure with one
of the carriage bolts by placing the bolt from the top of the bike rack and securing from
underneath the platform with one of the locking nuts. The holes are pre-punched in the
platform.
5. The bike rack may be mounted on either the left or right side of the HITCH-HAUL®.
The Bike Rack Runners MUST slant toward the outside of your vehicle as indicated in
Fig. 3. The tie down strap is included to secure 1, 2, or 3 bikes. See Fig. 4.
Before each use, ensure all bolts are secured tightly.
Tip: The Bike Rack works great as a security device. When bikes are in place and
secured, weave a chain through the bike tires and the bike rack runners and lock
into place. (Chain and lock are not provided with this product.)
