Carefully and understand ALL INFOR-
MATION Before Operating THIS Tool.
• Keep these instructions in a safe
accessible place.
• Always wear impact-resistant eye and face protection
when operating or performing maintenance on this
tool.
• Do not use tool to pry.
• This tool is not recommended for use near or in
water.
• When battery is not in use, keep it away from other
objects.
• Store idle tools out of reach of children.
• Keep the tool in efficient operating condition.
• Place the tool on the work before starting the tool. Do
not point or indulge in any horseplay with this tool.
• Keep body working stance balanced and firm. Do
not overreach when operating the tool.
• Anticipate and be alert for sudden changes in motion
during start up and operation of any power tool.
• Tool shaft may continue to rotate briefly after throttle
is released. Avoid direct contact with
accessories during and after use.
• Keep away from rotating end of tool.
Do not wear jewelry or loose clothing.
Secure long hair.
• Drill bits can bind suddenly and cause rotation of the
work piece or tool, causing injury to arms and/or
shoulders. Always use sharp bits. Use less downward
pressure at breakthrough.
• Do not lubricate tools with flammable or volatile
liquids such as kerosene, diesel or jet fuel.
• Do not force tool beyond its rated capacity.
• Do not remove any labels. Replace damaged labels.
• Use accessories recommended by Matco Tools.
Safety rules for charging the battery:
• Continuous charging for extended periods (several
days or weeks at a time) is harmful to the battery.
• Do not charge battery cartridge when temperature is
below 50°F (10°C) or above 104°F (40°C).
• Do not store the machine and battery cartridge
in locations where the temperature may reach or
exceed 122°F (50°C).
• Do not incinerate the battery cartridge even if it
is severely damaged or completely worn out. The
battery cartridge can explode in a fire.
• The battery must be placed in a well-ventilated area
during charging.
• Caution: charge only specific type rechargeable
batteries.
• Do not disassemble battery pack.
