INSTALLATION GUIDE
L2R with Heang Pad
SAFETY INFORMATION
1. Matrix Mirrors xtures must be installed in accordance with
all applicable naonal, state, and local electrical codes and by a
licensed electrician.
2. TO AVOID THE RISK OF SHOCK OR FIRE, DISCONNECT POW-
ER BEFORE INSTALLATION.
3. Recommended two-person installaon. This is especially
important for mirrors larger than 24x36 | For mirrors larger
than 36x60, consider having a glass professional present for the
installaon.
4. NEVER grasp the mirror chassis or glass by the corners; they
are sharp and can cause injury.
5. Matrix Mirrors hanging brackets must be installed into studs
or blocking. Sheet rock alone is insucient; a mirror could fall if
not properly installed in accordance with these instrucons.
6. Matrix Mirrors is not responsible for damage or injury in-
curred during the installaon process or for problems that arise
if its products should be installed by an unlicensed person. See

HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Never place the mirror chassis or glass on any surface by any
of the four corners. This can lead to damage or breakage.
2. If the mirror must be removed from the wall, be sure to
rst disconnect the power, then remove the glass before
dismounng the chassis.
3. Do not place the glass down on any hard surfaces such as
hardwood, le, granite, concrete, vinyl, or linoleum.
4. When storing the glass either during installaon or re-
moval, always place two corners ush against the oor and
two against a wall. All surfaces should be covered by a so
barrier such as foam, double-walled cardboard, a towel, or
a blanket. It is also possible to lay the glass completely at
against a so surface
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
1. If possible, turn o power to the mirror before cleaning.
2. Do not clean using abrasive cloths or paper towels as they
can scratch the glass.
3. Do not spray chemicals or liquids on any part of the mirror
- parcularly the sides or edges of the glass and the diusers
along the sides of the mirror chassis. To clean the glass, apply
a glass cleaning agent to a non-abrasive or microber cloth,
then gently wipe the glass and sides, being careful not to
touch the corners of the glass or the chassis.
4. Never apply pressure, pull down, or push up on the glass or
chassis as this could cause injury or damage.
5. No one other than a licensed and trained electrician should
ever remove the mirror glass from the chassis or uninstall the
chassis from the wall.
BEFORE INSTALLING
The hanging orientaon of the mirror should have been
specied before ordering as “Vercal” or “Universal.”
Mirrors specied as “Vercal” have 2 brackets axed to
the back of the mirror. “Universal” Mirrors have 3 brackets
axed to the back. As pictured below. “Universal” models
can be hung horizontally or vercally.

1. PLACE BRACKET
Attach the hanging brackets to the
wall in the desired position using
appropriate hardware.
2. LEVEL MARK
Mark a straight line for desired wall bracket
placement. Ensure the bracket is level and
ready to be securely fastened to the wall.
3. ATTACH BRACKET
Secure brackets to the wall using screws
designed for the mounting substrate.
The brackets must be installed on studs or
blocking. Sheetrock alone is insucient.
4. MOUNT CHASSIS
Hang the mirror frame on the wall brackets by
lifting up the top side of the frame above the
brackets and sliding down.

5. LOCK BRACKET
Lock the mirror frame to the wall with the third
mounting bracket by installing it the opposite
direction on the bottom side of the frame.
6. CONNECT POWER
Check the label on the mirror assembly to determine
the correct input voltage. Connect the power cable
from the mirror to the wiring in the junction box using
UL approved wire connectors. Make sure the power
cable passes through a junction box cover before
making power connections.
Attach the junction box cover to the junction box.
Make sure excess wire is tucked away so as
not to interfere with the installation of the mirror
glass.
7. CONNECT LOW VOLTAGE
Connect low voltage wires from the frame
to the corresponding lead coming from the
glass. Ensure the connection is made
before mounting the glass.

7. HANG MIRROR
Connect low voltage wires from the frame
to the corresponding lead coming from the
glass. Then attach glass by holding the glass
slightly above the mounting frame, then slide
down and to the left.

THE CORRECT WIRING CONFGURATION AND INPUT VOLTAGE. DIRECT & INDIRECT MIRRORS MAY
HAVE TWO SETS OF WIRING - WIRE TOGETHER OR ON SEPARATE CHANNELS.
