Disconnect from themains before cleaningthe food chopper.
Make sure nowater enters theinside of theappliance!
Never immerse thechopper or basein water andkeep the
electrical contacts dry!
Clean the foodchopper exterior witha soft dampcloth or sponge.
Do not useabrasive cleaners orscouring pads whichmay
damage the finishof the foodchopper.
Rinse the bowlunder running water.
Only use waterand dishwashing liquidto clean thechopper.
Never put anyparts in thedishwasher.

Always remove themains plug fromthe socket whenyou have finished
using the foodchopper, beforeyou clean thefood chopper,before you
put on orremove the containeror if anyfaults occur.
Wait untilthe blades havestopped rotating beforeyou remove thelid or
bowl. Never usethis chopper withouta lid.
Do not putyour hands orany utensils suchas forks orspoons into the
bowl while theblades are rotating.
Do not immersein water.

Caution: Never use thechopper without alid.
Assembling the food chopper
Remove all packingmaterials before using.
Before using, washLid, Blade andBowl in warmsoapy water;
rinse and drythoroughly.
Place the Baseon a dry, stable surface.
Place the Bowl,without Lid andChopping Blade, onthe Base
and turn clockwiseto lock intoposition (fig.2)..
Slide the ChoppingBlade down overthe shaft, rotatingif
necessary to dropinto place (fig.3).
Place the Lidon the Bowl,then turn clockwiseinto Lid locking
slot (fig. 4).
Note: For yourprotection, this unithas a safetylock lid. Theunit
will not operateunless the Lidand unit dotalign. Do not
attempt to operatethe unit withoutlocking the Lidin place.

Cut food intoapproximately 1/2 inchpieces and placeup to 2
cups of dryfood in theBowl at atime
.
Place the lidon the Bowland turn tolock into place.
Plug the cordinto an outlet.Press and holdthe HI orLO Pulse
button for 5-10seconds and thenrelease; the motorwill stop.
Repeat for afiner consistency.
Hold the unitwith one handplaced on topof the lid,to keep the
unit steady.
When finished chopping,allow Chopping Bladeto stop rotating
before removing contents.
Remove the Lidand grasp thestem of theChopping Blade.
Carefully remove itfrom the Bowl.Remove the Bowlfrom the
Base and emptythe processed food.
Note: Do notuse Bowl forstoring food..
Important: Do notexceed the maximum
capacity!
Important: Most foodrequires only 3-10seconds. Do not
operate longer than1 minutes.

1/3 cup fresh oregano 1 /4 teaspoon salt
1 garlic clove,peeled 1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/ 4 cup green onion, sliced 2 teaspoons olive oil
2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
Combine the first 8 ingredients (excluding oliveoil) andsalmon fillites infood chopper
bowl and process until wellmixed and finely chopped. Brush salmon filletson both sides
with the herb mixture. Grill salmon over medium-hot coals for 10 minutes or until fish
flakes easily when tested with a fork.
GRILLED HERB CRUSTED SALMON
1 (8-ounce) packaged cream cheese, 1 tablespoon capers
softened. 1 2 cup roasted red pepper,
2 green onions, chopped fresh roasted or jarred
Pat pepper dry. Place all ingredients in foodchopper bowl and process until well
combined. Serve with all assortment of crackers.
Make about 1 1 4 cups spread.
