• For best signal, wear remote control on the arm at all times while playing.
• In Hide & Seek mode, The Child may circle around a few times when searching and when close to discovering you.
• In Follow mode, The Child will not come closer than 15 inches (38 centimeters), and will stop moving if you stop moving.
• If circling persists, it means the signal is weak, and it is trying to find a signal. Try moving the remote control closer to The Child's eye level. If it is still not working, ensure that other infrared products are not interfering.
• To exit the Follow and Hide & Seek modes, press any other button or move the joystick.

• For proper function, keep the remote control in The Child’s sight and make sure there is a clear path between the remote control and The Child.
• Operating range of the remote control is up to 16 feet (5 meters). Keep the remote control within the operating range for best performance.
• Bright sunlight or fluorescent lights may aect the range of the remote control. Try dimming the lights in the room to improve the operating range.
• Avoid playing too close to walls as The Child's performance may be aected. Move The Child away from walls when it gets too close.

4 AA (LR6) alkaline batteries are preinstalled in The Child for demonstration purposes.
Remote control requires 3 AAA (LR03) alkaline batteries, not included.

• Turn the power OFF then ON on both The Child and the remote control to connect them again.
• Check the batteries. Replace the batteries in the remote control if a dim red light begins to flash slowly on the LED indicator. Replace batteries in The Child if sounds distort or if it
begins to respond slowly.
• Ensure the infrared transmitters/receivers are not covered during play.
• Check if The Child and the remote control are in sleep mode. They will enter sleep mode when left idle for over 10 minutes. To wake The Child up, press the action button or slide the
power switch o and back on. For the remote control, press the power button to turn it back on.
• Éteignez l’Enfant et la télécommande, puis rallumez-les pour les connecter de nouveau.
• Vérifiez les piles. Remplacez les piles de la télécommande si un voyant rouge faible commence à clignoter lentement. Remplacez les piles de l’Enfant si le son se déforme ou s’il
