Overview
System conguration
Presentation tool is a windows software which could help to make connection between Lecture
Capture Station with user's computer. After opening a Microsoft®Powerpoint®le,theproductcould
get the title of each Presentation slide and also send command to computer for page-up & page-
down.
Locate the computer on which the presentation tool is installed and the product on the same
network.

How to use Presentation Tool
Install Presentation Tool
After downloading Presentation Tool, follow the steps below to install it.
DownloadPresentationToolfromourwebsite.(&1)
1. Start-up the computer and log on to the computer with administrator account.
2. Close all other applications.
3.Doubleclickon“Presentation_Tool_Setup_v2.2.8.XX.exe”to
run the installation process.
*“XX”dependsonthePresentationToolversion.
4. Select a language and click [OK].
5.SelectthefoldertoinstallPresentationToolandclick[Next>].
6.Selectafoldertocreateprogramshortcuts.Ifyoudon't
create a program shortcut, check the "Don't create a Start
Menufolder"checkboxandclick[Next>].
7.Ifyoucreateashortcuticononthedesktop,checkthe
"Createadesktopicon"checkboxandclick[Next>].
8.Checkyoursettingsandthenclick[Install].

9. Wait until the installation is complete.
10.Wheninstallationiscomplete,click[Finish]button.Ifyou
startPresentationToolimmediately,checkthe"Launch
PresentationTool"checkboxandpressthe[Finish]button.

・IfyouhaveanolderversionofPresentationToolinstalled,uninstallitandinstallnewversion.
・Ifyoudecidetocanceltheinstallation,clickthe[Cancel]button.

Uninstall Presentation Tool
When uninstall the Presentation Tool, follow the steps below.
1. Close Presentation Tool.
2. Uninstall with "Programs and features". "Programs and
features"arestartedbythefollowingprocedure.

Start->ControlPanel->Uninstallaprogram

Start->WindowsSystem->ControlPanel->Uninstall

3. Click "Yes" to uninstall.
4. Perform uninstall.
5. Click "OK" to complete the uninstallation.

the product name to connect and

After click on , the application will start searching all the products in the same local network
environment. Then all the found devices would be listed as below. Click on or of the window
could close the application.
Operate Presentation Tool
1. Double-click the Presentation Tool icon on the desktop, or
double-click the Persentation Tool icon in the folder set
during installation.
2.Itwillsearchtheproductautomatically.
3. When the search is complete, the found product will be
displayedinthelist.

Iftheproductisnotdisplayed,checkthatproductandthecomputerareonthesamenetworkor
thereisnoproblemwiththesystemenvironment.Fordetailsrefertosection"Systemconguration”
(&4)and“Toolcompatibility”(&5).

After selecting one product from the list to link, the software would show a monitoring window. It
shows the information regarding connected product, such as Device Description and IP Address.
ThestatusshowswhichPresentationleisopenandlinkednow.Clickon“Stop”buttonor
would disconnect and close the window. Click tokeeptheconnectionandminimizethe
window when doing presentation.
