Description
The RF-Keyfob-319 is a wireless handheld
device that is used to turn the alarm system
on and off.
Allows arming, disarming and panic
activation. The sensor is powered by (1)
replaceable 3-VDC, lithium coin-cell battery.
General Information
The RF-Keyfob 319 is a lithium battery
operated arming device for an alarm
system.
The Keyfob provides the user:
•Arm Away Mode (all devices active).
•Arm Stay Mode (interior devices off).
•Panic Activation.
•Lights activate –if control panel
|supports.
•Auxiliary out –requires panel
features.
The keyfob is enrolled into the system as
either a sensor or touchpad.
Note: if programmed as a senor it should be
enrolled in an unsupervised group
Programming
The following steps describe the general
guidelines for programming the sensor into
panel memory. Refer to the specific panel’s
documentation for complete programming
details.
1. Enter panel learn-in/enrollment mode.
2. Press the Arm and Disarm button at the
same time.
3. Enter sensor information.
5. Exit program mode.
Testing and the Sensor
Sensor should be tested for both operation
and range.
Wireless Testing
Wireless testing provides a baseline for the
distance the keyfob will operate away from
the control panel.
•Enter dealer sensor test at thecontrol panel.
•Press the Arm button and verifypanel
acknowledgement.
•Walk away from the panel and test at various
locations making sure thepanel acknowledges.
Operations and Testing
For End-User: Keyfob Operations:
•Press Arm Once –system should arm to stay.
•Press Arm Twice –system should arm to away.
•Press Disarm –system should disarm.
•Press both Arm and Disarm together –
panic on control panel is activated.
•Press Light –if available lights turn on and
toggle when lights are pressed again.
•Press Star * button –if available allows
setting panel to “No Delay”.
Battery Replacement
Note: If a low battery alarm occurs, replace
the battery within 7 days.
The RF-KEYFOB-319 requires (1) 3-VDC,
lithium coin-cell batteries (Varta or
Panasonic, Model CR2450),
1. Remove the cover by placing a coin
in the opening and twisting.

2. Observe polarity when replacing
battery.
CAUTION: Battery may explode if
mistreated. Do not recharge, disassembleor
dispose of in fire.
