1.6 Equipment
1.6.1 Buckle folding machine
Thebuckle foldingmachineworks exclusivelyin accordance withthe principleofbuckle folding.
TheMBO bucklefoldingmachine B21with pile feederhas been developedto processsheetsin
the sizes of 6 x 6 inch up to 21 x 33 inch. The production speed can be regulated between 400
and 8000 inch/min. However, this result depends on the type and size of sheet and type of fold.
The basic machine consists of a folding unit one with pile feeder as well as the well-proven MBO
registertable.
1.6.2 Folding unit one
The folding unit one is equipped with four (optional six) stainless-steel buckle plates, sheet stop
fineadjustment and integratedswingdeflectors. Moreover,it is alsoequippedwith thewell-proven
MBO spiral foldrollers, which may be adjusted through the quick-setting elements located on top
ofthe machine, combined with thelow-noise belt drivesystem andsolid, quickly removeable
slittershafts throughplugbearings.
1.6.3 Folding unit two
The folding unit two is a mobile buckle folding unit with own drive, register table, a maximum
working width of 21 inch as well as four buckle plates as descriped above.
1.6.4 Knife folding unit „X“
Theknife foldingunit“X”, whichisequipped withbelt drive system, maximum working widthof
21inch, and electronical knife control is useable as a folding unit two or three.
Theknifefolding unit“X”hasan own driveandself-control.
1.6.5 Hook on stream delivery
Thehook-on streamdelivery SE500/3is available inthe configurationsB21/4 ;B21/6; B21/44;
B21/64;B21/66 asstandard.The mobile deliveryA56is optional.Machines withaunit ”X”
configuration, 4X ; 6X ; 44X; 64 or 66X, must choose the optionalA56 ,because SE500/3 can
notbe suspendedat the ”X”unit.
Thefollowing description fromthefeeder tothemachine should enabletheoperator toachievea
