2 GENERAL INFORMATION
666
WARNINGS
• The panel must be installed and connected to the motherboard only with electric power DISCONNECTED. The manufacturer will not
be held liable for any malfunctioning in case of damage resulting from failure to comply with this indication.
• Only power on the appliance when the connection to the panel and motherboard is nished
• The connection cable MUST always pass through zones not in contact with the direct heat of the stove or of the combustion chamber.
• Follow the intended passage points for wiring as indicated in this instruction manual
• The connection cable MUST NEVER be more than 2 m long. Any extensions can lead to malfunctioning and loss of communication,
thus entailing anomalous behaviour of the appliance. In this case, the manufacturer disclaims liability for any anomalies, incorrect or
abnormal behaviour of the appliance and damage to the same or to the user.
INFORMATION
• The control panel is a further control interface for the stove and works IN CONJUNCTION with the APPS used from Smartphones, with
the remote control and with the emergency panel on the stove. This means that the commands set from the APP are also displayed
on the panel and vice versa.
• It takes the display 15 seconds to refresh (time required for the display to get the information from the motherboard memory) for
basic commands (power and ventilation) and 3 seconds for operating information (INFO screen). This means that when a command
is given from the APP on the smartphone, there will be a slight delay (max 10 seconds) for it to appear considering the required
times above.
• The optional MAESTRO panel does NOT have an internal probe. Temperature regulations are carried out based on the local probe of
the stove, on the WI-FI probe (optional) and on an external thermostat.
• All optional control panels are compatible with MAESTRO appliances. The various models have dierent assembly supports but the
same internal electronics. The following models are available:
• LIFT: Control panel equipped with push-pull extraction system to be installed on the back of the stove
• LIFT for ROUND stoves: controls equipped with push-pull extraction system to be installed on the back of a round shaped
stove (see HALO, MOOD, etc..)
• RECESSED: Control panel equipped with a wall or plasterboard recessed box to insert the panel in a wall (ideal for MAESTRO
pellet inserts)
• WALL MOUNTED: Control panel equipped with support to be xed to the wall to install the panel near the appliance without
performing masonry work. Also ideal for products which due to their aesthetic features (for example products completely
lined in ceramic like CURVE), the LIFT model control panel cannot be mounted on them
• LIFT for JAZZ hydro stove tted with a panel with knockout hole for insertion and connection purposes

ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
Pass the electric cable coming out of the panel into the designed hole on the back of the stove.
The supply includes adhesive clips to be attached to the steel back so that the cable adheres to the back of the product, thanks to the
electric clamps, so that the cable does not remain dangling or cannot be inadvertently pulled.
Before securing the cable with clamps and clips, we recommend opening the panel (as in the operating position) to verify the necessary
elongation of the connection cable for the opening movement. Fix the clips and clamps with the panel in this position.
Don’t tighten the clamps or deform the cable, but let it slide slightly inside the clamp, leaving it a bit loose. The
clamp has the aesthetic purpose of not allowing the cable to protrude and not that of creating a block. In some
cases and/or appliances the cable might not even need to be xed, leaving it full freedom of movement
Remove the decorative panel according to the manual of the product on which the assembly is being carried out and connect the RJ11
plug (similar to a twisted pair cable) to the specic connector on the board (see picture).
The appliance can only be powered on when the mechanical and electrical installation has been performed.
