Chair Waist Fixation Belt User Manual
General Information
Safebelt Chair Waist Belt effectively fixates
the patient to a wheelchair or chair it
prevents them from getting up or sliding.
If there is a chance that the patient can slide
downwards the shoulder support band is
used instead of the waist belt.
Standard Accessory: Plastic button, steel pin lock
and magnetic key.
Optional Accessory: Standard Extension Belt,
Crotch Support Belt

1The safety and the comfort of the patient
depends on the correct use and
assembly of the product. Read the user
instructions thoroughly before using the
product for the safety of the patient. Do
not use the product without reading the
manual.

Usage
Locking: The red steel pin of the lock is
inserted to the lock button and
pushed in, fitted and locked. A slight
"tick" noise is heard on the locking plate
and it won't open when the pin is pulled
back.
Opening: The metal surface of the magnetic
key is contacted to the top surface of the red
lock button and the steel pin is slightly
twisted simultaneously and the lock is open
Applying the Belt
1Sit the patient on a chair that is
sufficiently stable not to fall over when
shaken up.
2Wrap the belt around the patient's waist
from the front. (See Image 1)and in a way
that it is strained, bring the two ends to
the back of the chair (See. Image 2)
3Bring the ends on top of each other

pass the steel locks' pin from the two
holes on top of each other, place it in the
plastic button part of the lock and lock it
(See. Image 3)
Check that the belt is in line with the
patient's waist and it prevents them from
sliding

Extending the length of the Chair Waist
Belt
It can be necessary to extend the belt for very
largely built or fat patients. For this; attach the
special Waist Belt Extension part on the upper
end of the belt’s wrapped part, again via
steel key.(See. Image 4)
