General Information
Safebelt Chair Waist Belt effectively fixates
the patient to a wheelchair or chair it
prevents them from getting up or sliding.
If there is a chance that the patient can slide
downwards the shoulder support band is
used instead of the waist belt.
Standard Accessory: Plastic button, steel pin lock
and magnetic key.
Optional Accessory: Standard Extension Belt,
Crotch Support Belt

1The safety and the comfort of the patient
depends on the correct use and
assembly of the product. Read the user
instructions thoroughly before using the
product for the safety of the patient. Do
not use the product without reading the
manual.
2Faulty goods pose risk to the user and
discomfort to the patient. Therefor check
if the product is undamaged and not
faulty. Do not use damaged or torn
products

products (on a chair etc.) before
applying it on the patient.

Usage
Locking: The red steel pin of the lock is
inserted to the lock button and
pushed in, fitted and locked. A slight
"tick" noise is heard on the locking plate
and it won't open when the pin is pulled
back.
Opening: The metal surface of the magnetic
key is contacted to the top surface of the red
lock button and the steel pin is slightly
twisted simultaneously and the lock is open
Applying the Belt
1Sit the patient on a chair that is
sufficiently stable not to fall over when
shaken up.
2Wrap the belt around the patient's waist
from the front. (See Image 1)and in a way
that it is strained, bring the two ends to
the back of the chair (See. Image 2)
3Bring the ends on top of each other

holes on top of each other, place it in the
plastic button part of the lock and lock it
(See. Image 3)
Check that the belt is in line with the
patient's waist and it prevents them from
sliding

Extending the length of the Chair Waist
Belt
It can be necessary to extend the belt for very
largely built or fat patients. For this; attach the
special Waist Belt Extension part on the upper
end of the belt’s wrapped part, again via
steel key.(See. Image 4)

Product Hygiene and Life
1Wash in a washing machine, with cleaning
substances used on personal clothing.
Do not use industrial detergent, chlorine
or bleach-like decolourant substances.

Using the Chair Waist Belt Along with the
Crotch Restraint
1The Waist Roll Belt is used along with
the Crotch Restraint to prevent the
movement of patients who push
themselves down to release
themselves from the belt.
2For this; the narrow end of the Crotch
Restraint (the end with the circle
shaped extension) is aligned exactly in
the middle of the waist belt and is
passed between the top and bottom
parts. Later pass the wider section of
the Belt through the circle(See. Image
5)pull it all the way(See. Image 6)
and fixate the crotch belt on the waist
belt(See. Image 7)
3Bring the crotch belt forward on top of
the waist belt, by passing it in between
thepatient’s legs from behind. After
checking whether it is tight enough fixate
it on the waist belt via steel lock.
