Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Kauf Ihres neuen “L.E.D. Mini Daylight – VITALITY LED”.
Das Produkt bietet bei korrekter Handhabung viele Jahre zuverlässige Nutzung. Bitte
bewahren Sie die Quittung, diese Anleitung und die originale Verpackung für zukünftige
Anfragen auf.
Bitte lesen Sie diese Gebrauchsanweisung sorgfältig. Die hier dargelegten Nutzungsrichtlinien
ersetzen jedoch nicht den Rat eines qualifizierten medizinischen Beraters.
Verwendungszweck:
Beim „L.E.D. Mini Daylight – VITALITY LED“ handelt es sich um ein sicheres, medizinisch
getestetes Lichttherapiegerät. Es wurde zur Behandlung von Winterdepressionen (SAD)
entwickelt und soll die Leistungsfähigkeit des Nutzers steigern und ihn aufwecken.
Wie funktioniert das “L.E.D. Mini Daylight – VITALITY LED“?
Heute weiß man, dass Licht für viele physiologische Prozesse als natürlicher Zeitgeber wirkt.
Das helle Licht gelangt über die Augen und die Sehnerven in Form von elektrischen Impulsen
zur „Inneren Uhr“ unseres Gehirns. Sie nutzt die Hell-Dunkel-Informationen und veranlasst
andere Hirnstrukturen zur rhythmischen Ausschüttung chemischer Botenstoffe. So wird durch
das sehr helle Licht die Produktion der die Stimmung beeinflussender Botenstoffe angeregt
und die Produktion des Schlafhormons gestoppt.
SAD (seasonal affective disorder - Winterdepression):
SAD kann dazu führen, dass sich Menschen:
-Lustlos und müde fühlen
-Mehr Schlaf benötigen
-Konzentrationsprobleme haben
-Weniger aktiv sind als üblich
-Einen Mangel an Energie haben
Die Symptome treten jedes Jahr während der gleichen Jahreszeit auf. Bei den meisten
Menschen beginnt diese im Winter und es bessert sich erst wieder mit den helleren Tagen im
Sommer.
Kontraindikation:
Die folgenden Indikationen können für die Nutzung dieses Gerätes in Frage kommen:
-Leiden unter schweren Depressionen;
-Ein diagnostizierter Augenfehler, bei dem der Arzt Ihnen geraten hat, helles Licht zu
vermeiden;
-Spezifische Medikamente (d.h. bestimmte Antidepressiva, psychotrope Medikamente oder
Malaria-Tabletten;
-Lichtempfindliche Haut
Wenn Sie eine der genannten Indikationen haben, kontaktieren Sie ihren Arzt vor der
Verwendung dieses Geräts.
Mögliche Nebenwirkungen:

- Halten Sie das Kabel von heißen Gegenständen oder offenem Feuern fern.
- Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an die auf dem Typenschild angegebene Netzspannung an.
- Ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker und lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen, bevor Sie es
berühren.
- Berühren Sie das Gerät nicht mit nassen Händen, während es eingesteckt ist. Vermeiden

-Der Stecker dient zum Trennen der Netzspannung. Das Gerät darf nicht so positioniert
werden, dass es schwierig ist, das Gerät und die Netzspannung zu trennen.

-Dieses Gerät benötigt keine Kalibrierung, vorbeugende Inspektion oder Wartung.
-Dieses Gerät ist nicht reparierbar und enthält keine vom Benutzer zu wartenden Teile.
-Das Gerät ist gegen unbefugte Benutzung geschützt. Modifizieren Sie dieses Gerät nicht
ohne Genehmigung des Herstellers.
-Wenn dieses Gerät modifiziert wird, müssen entsprechende Inspektionen und Prüfungen

sollte vermieden werden, da es zu einem unsachgemäßen Betrieb führen kann. Wenn
eine solche Verwendung erforderlich ist, sollten dieses Gerät und das Andere beobachtet
werden, um sicherzustellen, dass sie normal arbeiten. Wenn das Gerät nicht aufleuchtet

Konfiguration
1. Gerät aus der Verpackung entnehmen.
2. Klappen Sie den Standfuß um und stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine feste Oberfläche wie
z.B. einen Tisch.
3. Stellen Sie das Gerät ca. 17 – 40 cm vor die Augen. Das Licht muss ihr Gesicht von der
Seite treffen.
Stromverbindung
Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an die auf dem Typenschild angegebene Netzspannung an.
- Schieben Sie den Stecker vollständig in die Steckdose.
Hinweis
-Schieben Sie den Stecker vollständig in die Steckdose.
- Vergewissern Sie sich, dass sich eine Steckdose in der Nähe des Gerätes befindet.
- Verlegen Sie das Netzkabel so, dass niemand darüber hinweggehen kann.
Wandmontage
Auf der Rückseite des Gerätes befindet sich ein Montageloch. Bei dieser Montagebohrung
kann das Gerät mit der Schraube an der Wand befestigt werden. Je nach Art der Wand muss
eine entsprechende Schraube mit Stöpseln verwendet werden. Z.B. für eine Betonwand, M4,
25mm lange Edelstahl-Selbstschneideschraube, die in einen Anker geschraubt wird. Die
Schraube und der Anker sind nicht im Lieferumfang erhalten.
Wichtig
Wenn das Montageloch oder das hintere Gehäuse rissig oder beschädigt ist, befestigen Sie es
nicht an der Wand. Bitte wenden Sie sich an den Händler oder Kundendienst.

7. Bedienung
Vergewissern Sie sich vor Gebrauch des Gerätes, ob Beschädigungen oder Störungen
vorhanden sind. Wenn Sie Beschädigungen oder Störungen bemerken, verwenden Sie es nicht
und wenden Sie sich an den Kundendienst oder den Händler.
1. Einschalten
Drücken Sie einmal die AN / AUS-Taste, um das Gerät einzuschalten.
2. Nutzen
Sie können lesen, schreiben, telefonieren oder arbeiten, während Sie das Gerät benutzen.
Wenn Sie das Gerät benutzen, versuchen Sie, den empfohlenen Abstand zwischen den Augen
und dem Gerät einzuhalten.
Gebrauchsrichtlinien sind wie folgt:

können während der ersten Sitzungen auftreten. Senken Sie im Zweifelsfall die
Behandlungszeiten, bis Sie sich wieder wohler fühlen.
-Lassen Sie das Gerät nicht unbeaufsichtigt während der Behandlung.
-Berühren Sie das Gerät nicht während der Behandlung. Lassen Sie das Gerät min. 15
Minuten abkühlen, bevor Sie es neu positionieren.
-Blockieren Sie nicht die Entlüftungslöcher.
3. Das Licht über längere Zeit genießen
Während der dunkleren Tage des Jahres wiederholen Sie die Behandlung für mindestens
sieben aufeinanderfolgende Tage oder länger, je nach Ihren individuellen Anforderungen.
4. Ausschalten
Drücken Sie die AN / AUS-Taste, um das Licht auszuschalten. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker
anschließend aus der Steckdose.
Hinweis
-Lassen Sie das Gerät min. 15 Min. abkühlen, bevor Sie es berühren oder aufbewahren.
8. Reinigung
Warnung
Bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen, schalten Sie es immer aus, ziehen Sie es ab und lassen
Sie es abkühlen.
-Berühren Sie das Gerät nicht mit nassen Händen
-Mit einem feuchten Tuch reinigen, auf das Sie bei Bedarf ein wenig Reinigungsmittel
auftragen können.
-Lassen Sie kein Wasser in das Gerät laufen.
- Die Reinigung kann einmal pro Monat durchgeführt werden.
9. Lagerung
Wenn dieses Gerät nicht benutzt wird, sollte es an einem trockenen Ort außerhalb der
Reichweite von Kindern gelagert werden. Lassen Sie das Gerät nicht an eine Stromquelle

angeschlossen und befolgen Sie die Anweisungen im Abschnitt „Technische Details“.
10. Entsorgung
Bitte beachten Sie, dass dieses Gerät mit dem WEEE-Symbol auf der linken Seite
gekennzeichnet ist. Dies bedeutet, dass dieses Gerät nicht zusammen mit dem
Hausmüll entsorgt werden darf, da Elektro- und Elektronikabfälle separat entsorgt
werden müssen.

Instructions for Use
Congratulations on the purchase of your new “L.E.D. Mini Daylight – VITALITY LED”. The
product will offer many years of reliable usage if handled correctly. Please keep your receipt,
these instructions and the original packaging safe in case of future requirement.
Please read the instructions carefully to gain the most benefit from your new “L.E.D. Mini
Daylight – VITALITY LED”, although the usage guidelines in this document do not replace
the advice of your qualified medical advisor.
Intended Use:
Medical intended use of this appliance is to treat the symptoms of SAD (seasonal affective
disorder) or winter depression. “L.E.D. Mini Daylight – VITALITY LED” is intended to
boost people’s energy levels, to adjust circadian rhythms and make people feel more awake.
“L.E.D. Mini Daylight VITALITY LED” is safe and medically proven to provide relief from
the symptoms of SAD.
How does the “L.E.D. Mini Daylight – VITALITY LED” work?
In autumn and winter, the seasons with the least sunlight because of shorter days, the lack of
sunlight and a problem with certain brain chemicals stops the hypothalamus working properly.
The lack of light is thought to affect the production of the hormone melatonin (that makes you
sleepy).
“L.E.D. Mini Daylight VITALITY LED” uses bright lights to simulate the sunlight during the
darker autumn and winter, whilst eliminating the dangerous UV rays contained in sunlight.
The additional light helps adjust the levels of melatonin that can help the symptoms of SAD.
Seasonal Affective Disorder:
It may cause people to:
-Feel low, listless and fatigued
-Need for more sleep
-Have trouble concentrating
-Less active than normal
-Lack energy
Symptoms occur during the same season each year. Most people with SAD start to have
symptoms during winter and feel better in summer.
Contraindication:
The following conditions may be contraindication for use of this appliance:
-suffer(ed) from severe depression;
-recent eye surgery or a diagnosed eye condition whereby doctor has advised you to avoid
bright light;
-on specific medication (i.e. certain antidepressants, psychotropic drugs or malaria tablets);
-have high blood pressure with vitreous hemorrhage;
-skin sensitive to light, such as systemic lupus erythematosus
Always consult your doctor before your start using this appliance if you have any of the
above conditions.
Possible side effects:
The following side effects you may experience:

-sleeping problems
-Nausea
Measures to avoid, minimize or alleviate these side effects:
-Increase the treatment distance
-Avoid using the appliance during the late evening or before sleep

4. Remove the appliance from the packaging.
5. Fold the stand out and place the appliance on a solid surface, such as a table.
6. Place the appliance approximately 17-40 cm from your eyes, the light must bathe your
face from the side.
Mains connection
Connect the appliance only to the mains voltage listed on the type plate.
- Push the plug completely into the mains socket.

Fastening of L.E.D. Mini Daylight – VITALITY LED on the wall
There is a mounting hole on the back side of the appliance. At this mounting hole the
appliance can be fixed on the wall with screw. Depending on the type of wall, an appropriate
screw must be used, may be with pegs. E.g. for concrete wall, M4, 25mm long Stainless Steel
Self-Tapping Screw which is screwed into a anchor. The screw and the anchor are not
included in the scope of delivery.
Important
If the mounting hole or back housing is cracked or damaged. Do not fix the appliance on the
wall. Please contact customer service or the dealer for assistance.
7. Operation
Before use, please check the appliance for damage or faults. If you notice any damage or
faults on the appliance, do not use it and contact customer services or your supplier.
1. Turning on
Press the ON/OFF button once of the appliance to turn on.
2. Taking the light
You can read, write, make telephone calls or work while you use the appliance. When using
the appliance, try to maintain the recommended distance between your eyes and the appliance.

During the darkest period of the year, repeat the treatment for at least 7 consecutive days, or
longer, depending on your individual requirements.
4. Switching off
Press the ON/OFF button of the appliance to switch off the light. Pull the mains plug from the
socket.

-Let the appliance cool down for at least 15 minutes before touching or storing it away.
8. Cleaning
Warning
Before you clean the appliance, always switch it off, unplug it and let it cool off.
-Do not touch the appliance with wet hands.
-Clean using a damp cloth, to which you can apply a little detergent if necessary.
