Status Descripon
1. Standby: A red dot in the boom secon of the display will light up in sequence from le to right (A).
2. Normal temperature: Flashing green lights on either side of the device and single beep (B).
3. Abnormal temperature: Flashing red lights and rapid beeps (C).
4. Default sengs (in body mode):
“Lo” Ultra-low temperature (D)
“Hi” Ultra-high temperature with alarm (E).
Note: In counng mode, each count will ash green with a single beep displaying the number.

Operaon Instrucons
1. Temperature measurement: Approach the front of the thermometer within sensing range (5—10cm) (F).
2. Mode switching: Gently insert a 3mm diameter screwdriver into the hole on the back of the device and press down on
the buon (G).
3. Temperature selecon: Single press and cycle between “C” and “F” for Celsius or Fahrenheit.
4. Work mode selecon: Long press the mode switch buon for 3 seconds to switch the measurement work mode be-
tween Body, Surface, and Counng Mode.
Baery Install, Replacement, and Recharging
1. Remove the four screws on the back cover and open the base. This device uses a rechargeable 18650 Li-ion baery.
2. To charge the baery, connect the device via the USB cable to any USB interface. You should see a light through the
boom hook hole indicang the device is charging. Red requires charge, green indicates fully charged.

Soware User Guide
Note: This soware is only compable with Windows systems. Available in English, Spanish, Simpli-
ed Chinese, and Japanese.
Download the soware package “MEFE_Thermometer.exe” and follow the steps below:
1. Turn on the thermometer using the top switch. Once the device is On, connect the USB cable provided to the USB inter-
face on your computer.
2. Open the soware package (double-click the le).
3. Select “COM” from the drop-down list and “Connect” to the applicable port that matches your USB input (Figure 1).
Once connected, the thermometer will automacally convert each reading to data.
4. To set your own temperature thresholds for a green/normal reading or orange/abnormal reading by changing the “Up”
and “Down” temperature under “Warning”. Up sets the limit above which a temperature is abnormal. Down sets the
limit below which a temperature is abnormal.
5. You can switch between Temperature (Celsius/Fahrenheit) and Work Mode (Body/Body/Count).
6. To export data, select “Save”. The program automacally exports as a .txt le. Once exported, “Clear” the data.
7. Before disconnecng the USB, click “Disconnect” on the interface to safely shut down.
FAQ
1. Not recognising or nding the “COM” port? Disconnect the USB and make sure you have turned on the device rst,
then connect the USB to the computer.
2. The data does not refresh aer the port is open. Check the power switch is On, reconnect the device.
