RAIL INSTALLATION FOR THE MCMOC24
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
• TheMcDonald’sOnCueRailKithasbeendesignedspecicallyforthe
McDonaldsMcMOC24andshouldnotbeusedwithothermodels.
• Pleasehandlerailscarefullyandavoiddropping,banging,twisting,
bendingorforcefulimpactwithmagneticsurface.Themagnetshave
verystrongattractionforceandcanbedamagedorcausedamageif
suddenlyattractedtoamagneticsurface.
• Donotattempttodislodgethemagnets
• Beforeattemptingtoinstallyourrails:
• Inspecttheovencavitytoensurethatthereare2‘raildimples’oneach
ofthecavity’ssidewalls.
• Thesedimplesarethereto‘receive’the‘alignmentpegs’foundon
eachoftherails(seediagramtotheright)
• Wheninstallingtherails:
• itisimportanttoalignthepegswiththedimplestoensureproper
installation.
• Onceinstalled,railsshouldsitatandushagainstthesideofthe
oven,withthemagnetsholdingtherailsinplace.
• Itisalsoimportanttoinstalltherails‘rightsideup’.
• Bycarefullyfollowingtheinstructionsbelowyoucanbesurethatthe
railshavebeeninstalledcorrectlyfortroublefreeandsafeoperation.
• Pleasepaycarefulattentiontothecleaninginstructionsfoundimmedi-
atelyfollowingtheinstallationinstructionsbelow.
• Railsshouldnotbeimmersedinwaterandnocausticcleaningchem-
icalsaretobeused.Wipecleanwithamoistcloth,dryandre-install
accordingtotheinstructionsbelow
⚠SAFETY WARNING
The rails include Neodymium magnets and
need to be kept a minimum of 4” (102mm)
away from objects that may be affected
by magnetism, these include mechanical
watches, pacemakers, CRT monitors, credit
cards, diskettes and other magnetically
stored media.
The magnets are plated with a 3-layer
protective copper-nickel coating. During
normal use the plating should not wear
or breakdown, however if the plating is
scratched this could expose the magnet to
corrosion & rust.
Take care not to expose the magnet to
objects that may scratch the plating.

• Pleasefollowtheseinstructionscarefullyasproperinstallationiscriticaltotheperformanceoftherails,theshelf/
racktheysupportandanyfooditemsplacedupontheshelf/rack.
• Properinstallationiscriticaltotheperformanceoftheovenandthesafetyofthe
operatorusingtheoven.
1. Inspecttheovencavitytoensurealignmentpegdimplesare
present(thereshouldbetwodimplesoneachoftheleftandright
cavitywalls)
2. Ensurethecavitywallsanddimplesarecleanandfreeofanyforeign matter,
foodstuffordebris
3. Alignthefirstrail,magnetsfacingoutwards,beneaththealignment
pegdimplesasshowninFig1.1
4. Rotatetherailsupwards,aimingthealignmentpegstowardsthe alignment
pegdimplesasshowninFig1.2
5. Continuetorotate,ensuringthealignmentpegsareinsertedinthe alignment
pegdimplesuntiltherailssnapinplaceasshowninFig1.3
6. Inspecttheinstallationtoensure:
7. Thealignmentpegsareinsertedintothealignmentpegdimples
8. Therailislevelwiththetopandbottomofthecavity
9. Therailissittingflatandflushtothefaceofthesidewallofthecavity
10. Therailisorientedproperly(topoftherailfacingup,bottomoftherail facing
down).(SeeUparrowindicatoronleftsideofeachrail)
11. Followthesameprocedureontheoppositecavitywalltocomplete
installationofthesecondrail.

Cleaning the rails
CAUTION: Do not immerse the rails in water, or place them in a dishwasher as this can cause damage to the
magnets and create a potential safety hazard. To clean, follow these instructions only
1. Cleanrailswithacleandampclothorsponge.
2. Removestubborndebrisorfoodparticleswithanon-scratchscrubbingpadorbristlebrush.
3. Drywithatowel.
4. Beforereinstallingtherails,pleasefollowtheinstructionsabovecarefully.
5. Alwaysensurethatthecavitywallsarecleanandfreeofforeignmatter,foodstuordebrisbeforere-installingyour
rails
Storing the rails
Rails can be stored on the outside of the oven, on either side. DO NOT store by placing the face of the magnets
against the side of the oven. Instead, store as illustrated below.
